What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our page was in the 10th–13th place of search results when we started working with Dot Com Infoway. With their support, we’ve been able to rank on top on a lot of keywords and phrases such as mental health and rehabilitation. We’re also experiencing an increase in visitor count on our site, specifically around 2,000 visitors a month.

How did Dot Com Infoway perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time, and they’re always available to take our calls which are usually done through Zoom calls. They’re also very accessible to us, being a few meters away from our organization. 

We’ve been in existence for 30 years, and we’re a very traditional organization. We stick to spreadsheets and old systems when it comes to projects and reporting, but we’re now looking for a CRM software. Overall, Dot Com Infoway's services are up to the mark.

Dot Com Infoway has helped us rank highly for our target keywords — we’re currently number one for our top keywords from previously being number 14. 

Moreover, they’ve worked flexibly even during the COVID-19 pandemic, so we’re incredibly grateful for their services. We’ve transitioned from one aspect of our business to an entirely different one, and they’ve been flawless in helping us during that transition period.

How did Dot Com Infoway perform from a project management standpoint?

Dot Com Infoway is detail-oriented. I appreciated this because it keeps our engagement clear. They use Basecamp to organize everything, and this platform makes our communication seamless through its texting feature. Considering that they’re on the other side of the globe, our communication is relatively easy. 

On top of that, when they propose ideas to me, they back them up with data and facts. They also adjust to our needs while justifying their ideas. Overall, I’m highly satisfied with their performance. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They produce results. We’ve dealt with bigger and more expensive firms in the past, and they don’t produce results. By contrast, Dot Com Infoway delivers — that makes them different from their competitors.

No, there aren’t any. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Regardless of who you’re doing business with, you must have some knowledge of success metrics. You should also understand how your goals can be achieved. Otherwise, the business relationship will be difficult for all parties. You might have unrealistic expectations or not know how fast things can happen. In other words, you must educate yourself. 

This advice doesn’t apply only to Dot Com Infoway; it applies to the whole industry. You should have some knowledge about your business space before engaging with any marketing firm.

We needed their team to get the word out about our new application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve engaged Dot Com Infoway to handle our marketing efforts since we’ve found it challenging to secure organic traffic growth on our own. Their team has helped us collate audit reports to identify marketing opportunities and strategies that we can utilize and refer to across our paid marketing campaigns. Additionally, they’ve launched an email marketing campaign to help us expand our market.

Apart from their marketing efforts, they’ve also supported our backend development pipeline. They’ve conducted tests to identify which segments of our app are functional and which aren’t. Upon identifying those areas, Dot Com Infoway has sent us feedback forms that we can refer to as we improve our platform.

Currently, at least 400 users are testing our product. We are in the process of making changes based on user feedback.

We mainly rely on Skype for communication. Emizen Tech has a team of good communicators — they see to it that each project phase is digestible for our team and the technical terms are explained in a language we understand. More importantly, they’re always prepared with productive suggestions and reliable references.

Dot Com Infoway has a commendable work ethic — not only do they meet our deadlines and budget, but they also strive to maintain a personable relationship with us.

We engaged DCI for developing Healthinary app. The goals were to have a trustable, safe, robust, scalable app all developed within limited time frame.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The resultant product was called Healthinary, which functions as a hospital management app. Its features are centered on patient management as a whole. For example, it helps keep track of patient status through accurate and responsive readings.

Attending healthcare providers would immediately be informed if a patient needs attendance (if, for example, his temperature exceeds 100 degrees) through colour codes. It also keeps track of our inventory of prescription by providing real-time updates not only in dosage but the course’s duration as well.

We were given complete control over user access of patient records, and DCI ensured the best kind of security by deploying the Laravel framework.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Not for the moment.

Besides meeting our expectations, they kept communication lines open and are overall very adaptive to our fluctuating needs. They quickly figured out how we want the app to feel and function, and most of the project had been smooth sailing, to say the least.

It’s their sheer focus on the project and their dedication to customer service and ensuring the quality of their final product. It doesn’t take a genius to see that they love what they’re doing.

We needed to get traction for an Android app that we launched.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We partner with Dot Com Infoway for the marketing and promotion of our Android app. They handle everything end-to-end.

First, they analyzed the app and made sure they understood it. They also analyzed other apps in the market and considered what users are looking for. They gave early feedback and provided time to make those changes.

Then, they created and managed Facebook and Google Ad campaigns to reach our target market. The team also makes creative, including videos. They created a very good video for marketing purposes. They’re positioning our app in the marketplace.

They promised a minimum of 5,000 installs, and we’ve seen 1,300 over the last couple of weeks. We’ve seen a huge increase in traffic, and conversions have increased tremendously. Their market positioning work has driven organic downloads and helped our app gain traction.

They’re very flexible and honest, and they are really knowledgeable in marketing. The main aspect I like is that they take on the product as their own.

They could consider where their clients are located when scheduling a meeting, although it’s not a big deal for me.

There were some changes in the plan initially. They should make sure the overall processes are well planned out ahead of time. In other words, put in more work initially, so they don’t have to spend extra time sorting things out later.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dot Com Infoway?

We were trying to develop an app that would provide networking materials for college students to connect with campus ministries.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The designed and developed the app from start to finish, and the solution is now available in both iOS and Android. 

They implemented a mapping feature that maps the user directly to the campus ministry building on campus, which are sometimes hard to locate otherwise. Users can also “save” and interact with various campus ministries directly from the app.

The app has been launched, it’s gone through beta testing, and it’s in the 90-day window where you’re still working out kinks.

What is the team composition?

I only interacted with two people primarily from their organization. In the beginning, we worked with a sales team.  Then, we had one main contact for the process of the app build. 

How did you come to work with Dot Com Infoway?

I asked one of our department heads to find three bids, and Dot Com Infoway was one of the top two companies. We negotiated back and forth until they came out as the best option. We decided to go with them because they were able to create the app from start-to-finish.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about $15,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our original contact with them was somewhere around April of 2019, and we’re still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Overall, we’ve been satisfied. They deliver good quality work. There have been some kinks, and it’s taken longer than they originally said. The original estimate was three months, and it’s dragged on for at least a year. However, there were delays from our end at times. 

How did Dot Com Infoway perform from a project management standpoint?

In general, they performed well. They were very receptive to feedback. Whenever we wrote feedback, we’d get a very good response in 3-4 days, and they’d be open to making the changes that we asked. Their process was fairly clear, and they were adaptive as well.

There were a couple of times when there would be some fairly major kinks with the design they were working on (e.g. there would be a problem with logging into something they sent us.) I’m not sure they "checked all their Ts and dotted their Is" before sending the project off to the client to take a look. But, they always fixed these issues. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understood what we wanted, and the deliverable is almost identical to what I had envisioned. I’m happy that the product I envisioned is now a reality, and they were able to make that happen.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If they’re working with clients from other time zones, they need to be available when their clients are working. They also need to make sure they have an effective means of communication.

For instance, we’d work primarily off of Basecamp. But, if we needed to schedule a phone call, it would be between 1:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. our time, which is difficult for a nonprofit to accommodate. They would want it on either Skype of WhatsApp, and those calls would often drop. One time, the call dropped 6-7 times on Skype within one hour. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

When you go into a project, you’ll want three things: good quality, good cost, and a good timeline. Usually, you only get two of these things. With this company, you’re going to get good quality and good cost, but not within a good time. For me, it was worth it. I’m very happy with our app, it just took longer.

Our google ranking improved by 40% in the first 2 months and progressed further every month. Our sales conversions were increasing steadily at 6% a month which was above our target set initially.

We needed help with digital marketing, design, and development. We started looking for a development partner that was familiar with AI because our in-house development team didn’t have that kind of expertise.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They started off doing our digital marketing and promotion for our apps. Dot Com Infoway covers all of the different levels of our mobile app marketing, including App Store Optimization (ASO), keyword optimization, competitor analysis with regards to keywords, and marketing to influencers on various platforms. The collaboration has expanded to include more operational and research work. They’ve moved from doing only digital marketing to helping us with our overall strategy.

They’ve also designed the apps, and are now in the development phase. Our in-house team was involved in the development at first, but we eventually let Dot Com Infoway take complete control. The mobile apps are for both iOS and Android.

They were able to rebuild the whole product within two months. Right now, we’re doing a test flight for iOS and a beta release for Google. Dot Com Infoway is working hard to upgrade the app to the 2.1 version. It looks 10 times better than the version we used to have. Thanks to the quality of their work, we’re now able to grow and expand our business. The team has also been able to keep us in the top rankings for mobile apps.

The flow of the app has been excellent, with particular emphasis on the graphics. They’ve met the development needs of a startup with limited funding.

I couldn’t speak more highly of their teamwork. Their collaboration skills are above and beyond. We held effective weekly catch ups and used Basecamp for project management, which made it easy to keep track of everything. Their customer relations sales manager is superb. They were patient and empathetic.
