I’m the VP of human resources at Wyzoo, which drives direct marketing and industry marketing decisions by leveraging artificial intelligence and human intelligence.

For what projects/services did your company hire DNA325?

Wyzoo opened an office in Ukraine and we needed help identifying talented individuals to join our team. Our recruitment efforts primarily center on data sciences staffing (data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts). 

What were your goals for this engagement?

We wanted to identify a trusted partner who would intimately understand our business and then be able to identify talent that would meet both our current and future needs. As an early stage startup, it’s imperative that our partner prioritize integrity and accountability. They should also be bold enough to challenge our current thinking and push us to be a better company.

How did you select this vendor?

We interviewed several possible partners. DNA325’s due diligence convinced me that their goals aligned with ours. I presented them to my executive team and had no concerns that they would win approval. I appreciated that they listened attentively as we discussed our needs.

Describe the engagement in detail.

The scope of their services primarily centers on recruitment. As a startup, we’re starting from scratch with our efforts. If we need to open a search, DNA325 first helps us to develop the job description and measurements of success. Valeria (COO, DNA325) offers her insights and assistance at every stage. Once we identify a candidate of choice, they then help us create offer letters and agreements. DNA325 also provides HR consulting services to aid us in navigating the local market HR, accounting, and legal landscapes. 

What was the team composition?

Valeria serves as our account manager and the main point of contact. There is a team of individuals working on our behalf as well.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

DNA325 is keeping pace with our expectations, which is not easy to do. They maintain a focus on priority roles and deliver candidates that match our desired criteria. They understand the nuances of each role and present candidates for consideration that are on-target with our needs. They’re quick to communicate concerns about the pipeline and generate ideas that could yield greater results. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication happens on a regular basis and in a structured, organized manner. Valeria and I have a standing weekly meeting to identify needs, address changing priorities, discuss sourcing strategies, and discuss candidates in-process. This ensures that everything moves forward as it should. When I have concerns or ideas, she quickly communicates these things to her team of recruiters.

We also exchange emails throughout the week and DNA325 is extremely responsive. They make it hard for us to remember that there’s a seven hour time difference between us. They work very hard to respond as quickly as possible to all questions and emails. We can count on their team to work late as needed.

What did you find most impressive about this vendor?

DNA325 truly listens to and understands our needs. They treat our business as if it were their own. Valeria is so insightful, responsive, and results-oriented. It’s an absolute delight to work with this team.

We needed to build a business development department to expand the company and take it to the next level.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DNA325 educated us on the concept of business development, explaining how it should be structured. Then, they helped us recruit and mentor people and groom them for our goals. They also helped us draft paperwork, develop KPIs [key performance indicators], and different types of contracts. They provided coaching mentorship for our office in the Ukraine. They also helped with sales and provided documentation. Overall, DNA 325 helps keep the department going in the right direction.

How did you come to work with DNA325?

I’ve known Julie [CEO, DNA325] before the project. During a conversation, we realized that they might be able to help us. We considered other organizations for building our business development department, but DNA325 gave us the most valuable advice at no charge.
