We wanted our clients to choose up to five emotions and pay for the ones they chose. Shopify development was the best suited for our project. As it was not a simple Shopify functionality, we chose DigitalSuits company as a professional Shopify expert.

After that, we had a software testing stage done by the DigitalSuits team, user acceptance testing, and testing of the app with the first clients who have been using it for 1 month. The project also included a support stage.

In the beginning, it took the team some time to better understand the application’s purpose, gather requirements, and study the functionality. However, it didn’t cause any significant problems.

I am CEO at Savarian.tech, a software testing company that provides consulting, QA outsourcing, managed testing, and other services needed to improve the quality and usability of digital products.

We asked DigitalSuits to develop a new platform version for one of our clients. The main objectives were to create an intuitive platform rich in functions and helpful tools. Since the client is an online marketplace, it was essential to add convenient checkout and payment pages, a personal account section, and other functions that would help enhance the shopping experience for the client's potential and current customers.

One of our business partners recommended DigitalSuits as a reliable company. Various software development services and great reviews on trusted platforms were deciding factors. The pricing model was convenient for the client, and the team's responsiveness was outstanding, so the client's team quickly made up their mind and chose to go with DigitalSuits.

The project milestones included the following: setting up a roadmap, creating draft mockups, design and UI finalization, platform launch, and post-release support. The client wanted to create a stylish and minimalistic yet multi-functional marketplace platform. To help potential customers get everything they need in one place, DigitalSuits added customization features, for instance, personal discounts and bundle constructors.

Also, they implemented a Personal Assistant bot, and a Personal Account page to keep track of all orders, payment history, and add items to a wishlist. The DigitalSuits team also incorporated Blog and About pages to help potential customers quickly find the necessary information and get the maximum out of the platform visit.

DigitalSuits provided the client with 12 new teammates, including UI/UX designers, web developers, a Project Manager, and 2D artists. We helped test performance metrics on our own.

The DigitalSuits team were responsible for Full-cycle development including (requirements, design, development, deployment and ongoing maintenance). This way, they ensured high user engagement and on-page time once the platform was released.

Our client is in love with DigitalSuits and they way they provide their service. They quickly provided highly skilled developers and designers who completed the project in the best way possible. The client received regular reports and feedback on every project milestone, which helped keep track of the progress. Overall, the workflow was efficient and well-organized.

The DigitalSuits team showed a high level of professionalism and great communication skills. Our client was delighted with the final design, page usability, and custom features. Everything was done on time, there were no major bugs, and the launch went very smoothly.

The collaboration is insane! All previously discussed topics and promises and agreements were kept! We have always run within the budget as well as the timing. Considering the situation what is going on in Ukraine right now, this is more than considerable!

the project and implementation was presented and finalized in advance via Figma. Our project manager was part of both teams at all times to get the best possible outcome and make us happy.

the team spirit and especially the constant professionalism! The entire team, which operates from the Ukraine, is daily at the mercy of unacceptable circumstances, but this was not noticeable in any way within the project. And we all appreciate that very much!

it's hard to believe... but NO! Please stay as you are! Personally and also professionally! We are looking forward to the further projects.

DigitalSuits has come to the rescue in our time of need. They deliver well when we need them to — we’ll continue working with them on other projects.

Their team delivers on time and stays within budget. We communicate with them through several channels, including email, where we verify deliverables. Day-to-day communication is mainly done through Slack, and we have meetings whenever necessary. If there is something urgent, DigitalSuits is available to help. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

No matter the challenge we throw at them, DigitalSuits listens to the issue and finds a solution. They never take the victim role; their team takes responsibility for their work. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for them to improve.

I’d advise customers to have as much detail laid out as possible, including what they want and expect from the partnership. However, it’s also important to stay open to DigitalSuits’ advice.

What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalSuits?

We wanted a more robust e-commerce site, so we were looking for a partner with experience with startups that could work with our budget constraints but still deliver a good product.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DigitalSuits did e-commerce development for us from scratch in our old Shopify platform. They built custom themes, implemented new functionalities, and redesigned the whole look and feel of our online presence. In terms of features, they added a subscription functionality and upgraded our entire UI/UX. Regarding design, they did everything based on some Figma designs we drafted and took those to the next level to optimize certain sections of our site.

We worked primarily with Artem (CEO), a project manager, a designer, and a team of developers.

I did a massive vetting process where I talked to around 40 vendors that I found online. I was looking for a company with Shopify experience and chose DigitalSuits as our provider.

We worked together from November 2021–February 2022.

They did a great job, and I was delighted with their results and their flexible ability to make changes when I felt indecisive about things. Overall, the look and functionality of the site were great.

How did DigitalSuits perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very patient and responsive with me; I never waited for an answer from their side despite the time differences. In terms of communication, we used video calls and Slack. In addition to that, their ability to communicate in English was great even though they’re based in Ukraine.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was pleasantly surprised by their design abilities; I was nervous at first, but their design team was sharp, fast, and efficient, even with the development.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — it was a smooth process, and they adapted to our resources.

DigitalSuits did web redesign and redevelopment for us from scratch. They helped us migrate from our WooCommerce platform to Shopify. To jumpstart the project, they went through a very thorough discovery process to understand our requirements.

In terms of functionalities, they enabled us to tweak the site as needed easily. Overall, it’s an e-commerce site.

We were looking for a partner that could help us build a Spotify integration and application. We needed a partner well-versed in Shopify and back- and frontend development.

DigitalSuits integrated Shopify with our APIs and then developed a corresponding app for the Shopify App Store. This project connected all of our services and APIs through a Shopify ecosystem.

Not a lot of companies build Shopify apps, so we ended up finding DigitalSuits online. We had several exploratory meetings with them to evaluate their expertise. The price quote they gave us fit our company and our project, so we hired them.

Our engagement with ​​DigitalSuits began in October 2021, and it’s ongoing.

DigitalSuits has successfully completed this project, and we’re planning to begin another one quite soon — the app will deploy in just a few weeks. We had quite a complicated project, but DigitalSuits managed to lead and support us during a war.

Despite being in the middle of a war, DigitalSuits’ team has been very responsive and has deployed every aspect of the project on time. They’ve delivered projects within our budget. We use Jira to track project progress and communicate via Slack.

The projects were broken down into multiple scoped tasks, for instance pages or sections. They were done without much rework in most cases. The developers understood the work fast, and picked up at the right pace. Most tasks were done within the estimated time.

Easy, flexible but professional communication via email and Slack. Open and thinking along towards solutions. Helpful and collaborative. Projects were managed in a structured way, very clearly.
