      The system was built quite some time ago and performed pretty slowly, not having the most suitable basic architecture and employing some old technologies. 

      There wasn't an underlying system that would grant managers fast access to product items for customizations and data optimization. 

      There wasn't a system that would allow for error analysis without the need to integrate

      products/attributes/categories in the whole system.

      1. The architecture for managing products and categories based on ElasticSearch, Node.Js, and AWS SQS was thought-out and implemented.

      4. Another ReactJS-based dashboard for analyzing, processing, and eliminating errors was implemented.

      They provided full-cycle, project management, development, QA, DevOps. They are responsible for every delivery cycle and doing it well.

      The team has about 6 people, but certain individuals would be assigned depending on the skills needed. I have a stable project manager who is our direct and permanent point of contact, his manager who has a deeper understanding of the product and a technical leader who joins our meetings depending on the requirements.

      Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

      We are about to go-live, so I don’t have any performance that demonstrates the impact yet, but I have strong expectations about it. DigitalSuits team has been highly motivated and invested in the project in terms of the time and energy they put into their work. They always go above and beyond.

      Project manager is very dedicated and responsible. I always have reports about any updates and releases. They regularly communicate well. We use email and Google meet for communication and weekly calls.

      We interviewed 10 agencies. We looked at the work they did in the past, references from friends, and their pricing. A lot of companies use temples and tweak them a little bit but we were specifically looking for a company that could build a website from scratch without using any templates. Digital Suites had the best portfolio among other companies that we interviewed.

      They build the entire website from scratch. Home page, shop page with catalog, product page, about us page, etc. They also build a subscription module for us. They did a couple of custom integrations for us as well. They also build a custom Shopify app for us.

      Project manager and a couple of developers. They were all extremely professional.

      Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

      They delivered this project on time even though we had a lot of last-minute updates. They never complained and were very professional.

      It was extremely efficient. Their project manager Yana is super professional, great communication skills, always positive, and happy to help. We invited the entire Digital Suites team to our Slack channel where we had all our communications going.

      I’m the CEO of Claim Technology. We developed the insurance industry’s first claims-as-a-service platform to enable companies to process and create digital claims.

      What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalSuits?

      We needed help building the claims-as-a-service platform, including the core platform app, a frontend chatbot, a backend case management system, and an API layer integration with third-party systems.

      What was the scope of their involvement?

      Their team was responsible for the IT architecture, front- and backend web development work for the platform components, and API implementations. The main app is programmed using Ruby on Rails, and the frontend was developed using React.js.

      What is the team composition?

      In total, I worked with about six developers, including an IT architect, two frontend developers, two backend developers, and a DevOps professional. 

      How did you come to work with DigitalSuits?

      I’d previously done some work with their CTO and co-founder.  

      How much have you invested with them?

      We’ve spent approximately $300,000. 

      What is the status of this engagement?

      The project began in June 2018, and it’s still ongoing.

      What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

      We just launched the platform, so I don’t have any performance metrics. But, the DigitalSuits team has been incredibly invested in the project in terms of the time and energy they put into their work. They always go above and beyond to ensure our project’s success. I appreciate that they only assigned very senior developers to the project, and the quality of the work was great. They were able to come up with clever solutions for implementing new functionalities quickly. 

      How did DigitalSuits perform from a project management standpoint?

      They’ve been good about estimating timelines and generally sticking to them, despite a few exceptions. Originally, DigitalSuits assigned a project manager to help us coordinate everything. I eventually decided to forego that, because I wanted to work directly with the developers. 

      What did you find most impressive about them?

      They’ve been very thoughtful about approaching the build, making sure we don’t have to rework elements somewhere down the line. That’s added a lot of value to us.

      The project is ongoing. DigitalSuits first designed and developed the CRM architecture according to our core features and designs, which included an AI integration. This AI bot was necessary for creating a workspace for facility service providers to receive and manage tenant or landlord requests.

      DigitalSuits delivered the MVP in time for a successful demo. We have continued with product improvement—like adding new features—and have plans to implement more. 

      What was the team composition?

      Two frontend developers and one full stack developer were initially assigned to work with our two AI developers. We added a DevOps and another full stack developer as the scope expanded.

      Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

      DigitalSuits showed us that our product could be even better than we thought. The demo’s launch produced a lot of feedback from people who are now interested in our idea. Some of our desired features seem at times unrealistic to implement, but the development team always proves to us that no idea is too complex to deliver.

      We enjoy working with the assigned manager. He immediately established communication between developers on both sides and organized the workflow in Jira, which helps us monitor the process more efficiently. We communicate via Slack and Zoom and, because their English is very good, we have had no issues.
