DigitalSuits - Shopify Plus Partner

BACKGROUND

I am the CEO of Synsel Techniek

Synsel Techniek is a tech recruitment company based in The Netherlands

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

• We needed to grow our candidate pipeline and place more people, without just throwing more headcount and marketing budget at the problem. Sourcing, screening, and matching candidates were almost entirely manual, and it was starting to cap how fast we could scale.

SOLUTION

Referral

• Great culture fit
• Good value for cost

6-10 Employees

They built an AI layer across our whole candidate-to-placement process, wired directly into the ATS our consultants already use every day. New vacancies now get pulled in and matched automatically instead of someone typing them in by hand. Candidates get sourced and scored against live openings, and the ones that fit get reached out to automatically. When a call happens, it gets scored, summarized, and turned straight into a client-ready CV and outreach email. We don't need to retype anything. The biggest shift wasn't any single feature. It's that our consultants now open the platform DigitalSuits built, where everything is AI-driven and organized to help them work more efficiently.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The moment it really landed for me was realizing we didn't need to hire to grow anymore. We source 3x the candidates with the same team, and our cost per candidate dropped by about 60%. New sales managers are ramped up in half the time. That combination (more output, lower cost, same headcount) is the whole point.

Understood staffing, not just generic automation Comfortable working with our existing ATS instead of ripping it out Clear about what AI could and couldn't do (and how much it might cost us to run it) Good value for the scope of work

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Our goal for this project was to build a fully integrated e-commerce platform that connects seamlessly with our ERP, CRM, and logistics systems. The objective was to automate the entire order flow — from the moment a customer places an order, through processing and shipment by our logistics partner, to having that order reflected in our ERP finance system. Previously, order handling was mostly manual, so this integration aimed to eliminate manual steps and improve efficiency across operations. Additionally, we wanted the platform to serve both B2B and B2C clients. To enable this, we chose Shopify Plus, as it provides the flexibility and capability to support both channels effectively. The team delivered a Shopify Plus e-commerce platform set up under our account, along with a custom-built connector to our logistics partner. This connector ensures that orders are automatically pushed to the logistics system, and once the shipment is picked up and dispatched, that status is automatically sent back to Shopify for real-time order tracking and updates.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The launch of the new e-commerce platform delivered tangible and measurable improvements across operations:

The platform went live smoothly and began processing orders immediately with minimal issues. Any issues that did arise were quickly identified and resolved.

Approximately 60% of manual work in the order handling process was eliminated, significantly improving operational efficiency.

The speed of publishing products to the platform and making them available to customers increased by at least 50%, allowing for faster product launches and updates.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Communication throughout the project was excellent — clear, fast, and efficient. In the early stages, we held daily meetings to align on progress and priorities. As the project matured, we transitioned to Slack for day-to-day communication, holding meetings only when needed.

The team was highly responsive and professional, consistently addressing requests promptly and thoroughly. They were supportive, proactive, and solution-oriented, which made collaboration smooth and effective.
