This has caused us over €20,000 in additional internal costs (legal, audits, investor withdrawals) and destroyed our planned launch schedule.

Progress was deliberately stalled despite repeated payment requests for “next milestones” that supposedly would fix everything. Web frontend & admin dashboard: never delivered, no working version exists. Communication collapsed once payments were made – we only gained access to the backend after being forced to pay an extra $2,000. To make matters worse, they used a “Mutual Release” document supposedly for a backend refund, which took over 13 days to process (2 weeks lost). It was signed without our CEO’s consent by a team member with no legal authority to terminate the contract – something never agreed internally.
This project has caused over €20,000 in losses (internal audits, legal costs, investor withdrawals) and completely destroyed our launch timeline.

We are disappointed to see this misleading review, especially given the facts: 1. Contradictory Statements by Reviewer The reviewer, Ethan Hompert, signed a Mutual Release Agreement as “Directeur Général” of Formly, settling all obligations. Yet here he claims he had “no authority” to sign it. This is a clear contradiction and misrepresentation of his own role. 2. Good Faith Efforts by Digital Aptech Despite meeting agreed deliverables and addressing all audit feedback, Formly later demanded 2–3 months of additional design changes for free—outside the signed scope. When we declined extortionate demands, hostility began. Still, in good faith, we even refunded €2,000+ voluntarily to maintain goodwill. 3. Extortionist Approach The review omits that Formly used threats of reputational harm (“negative reviews unless demands are met”) as leverage. This is documented in writing. Such conduct is not a fair reflection of business dealings, but an attempt at coercion. 4. Track Record of Digital Aptech We have delivered successful projects for Fortune 1000 clients worldwide and continue to maintain long-term client partnerships. This isolated, malicious review does not reflect the professionalism or quality that global clients trust us for. We caution fellow vendors to be wary of clients who attempt to rewrite contracts after signing and resort to reputational threats when refused. Our commitment remains to transparency, fairness, and high-quality delivery — but not at the cost of enabling bad faith practices.
