We used MazePixel for our UI/UX interface for both our mobile apps and web platform. It was outdated and needed a face-lift. New elements had to be implemented to enhance the UX.

Our goal was to make our company's services easier for our clients to access, understand, and use. We wanted to build client trust.

Due to confidentiality agreements, I cannot provide in-depth details about the project. Still, they helped us change the UI/UX interface for our mobile apps and web platform. It was outdated, and our clients had given a lot of negative feedback on it.

MazePixel worked with all of our teams to deliver the best options for our needs. They helped us identify more options to bring to the table, which improved the end result.

Our clients are happier, now. The user flow is much more intuitive, and our services are easier to understand, use, and work with.

The overall process was quite easy. They held numerous meetings to gather our feedback, bringing in our customer service team to test new options. In my role, I helped simplify the process flow and improve our services/product delivery.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by the level of detail in their services. They made sure that we covered everything, and the testing period was smooth and easy.

No, I think they had it all covered.

I’m the co-founder of BinarCode. We’re a young outsourcing company that provides web development services to various clients in Western Europe and the US.

We mainly needed a team that would provide high-quality UI/UX design with a modern touch and which fit client needs.

How did you select this vendor?

We knew MazePixel’s co-founder before he started the company and collaborated on a project together a couple of years ago. Since we needed a good UI designer, we decided to reach out to him and his newly founded company for help.

One of our recent projects involved the redesign of our website. MazePixel provided fresh designs which not only looked good but were straight to the point. Other projects that we worked on were for SaaS products, public-facing websites for our clients, PDF and email designs, and more.

What was the team composition?

The team primarily consisted of one person who was very responsive, listened well, and took all project particularities and details into consideration. We mainly communicated with him and he was the one to reach in most cases.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcomes are usually presented first as screenshots, then were delivered via Zeplin with all the required assets. So far, we've collaborated successfully on more than four projects and plan to continue our partnership.

Through an ongoing and iterative process, MazePixel managed to reach both internal and our client needs very well. They’ll go beyond expectations sometimes.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The typical workflow usually consists of gathering as much information as possible about the project, including business details, info on our competition, and examples of what our clients like. After this, MazePixel starts providing mockups and iterating on them based on feedback. We mainly use Zeplin for sharing files and Quip for quick feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We value their fresh design ideas and the ability to listen to project needs, incorporating them in beautiful and, more importantly, user-friendly designs. We also appreciate our contact person’s responsiveness. We basically get answers in less than a day and I think this is what distinguishes them from other design companies.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything went very well and there are no noticeably big things that we could mention for improvement. Some small things they could consider would be exporting assets in high-quality SVG format when possible, and maybe optimizing and compressing images from the start.

Our customers greatly appreciate the new website design. It has radically changed our company in a highly positive way.

We were impressed by their timeliness, and it was easy to communicate with our project manager. We used Skype for meetings and discussions. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were blown away by their knowledge of UX, website design, and optimization. This was a particularly collaborative, positive experience. We will certainly engage them again for our UX and website needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything can always be finished faster, but we were satisfied with all their work. Quality is more important than speed, and we have a beautiful product.

How did you select this vendor?

I found the MazePixel online third-party design marketplace. We commissioned three agencies to make concepts; MazePixel's design was the best by far so we chose to work with them.

I had an idea of what I needed for the website design and I submitted this to the online marketplace. After choosing MazePixel and deciding on the initial concept, we worked on the site page by page, since the concept we were bringing to market was quite new. We started on the home page, and then individual product pages.

We worked with one point of contact. They managed the project at their end and was also our designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In terms of success, we were very happy with the design.  We have received a lot of compliments from colleagues and clients, and most importantly the website has been a great sales tool.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

MazePixel was excellent at meeting deadlines, responding to questions, and communication. I liked the fact that we got to interact with the designer directly, and not just a middleman.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What really impressed me was whenever I would ask for a bad design change, the team was great at leading me away from those decisions. I really appreciated that they used their expertise to guide me through the process.

No, throughout the process there were designs we liked, and some we didn’t; MazePixel was great at working through concepts we didn’t like and turning them into concepts we were happy with.

Pretty simple: redesign the existing landing page in order to increase conversions.

We worked directly with Emy who was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we requested changes or had questions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our landing page conversion increased significantly - an increase of roughly 50%. This is a MASSIVE increase in conversion rate. This project was more successful than we thought possible.

Really smooth. Emy was added to our Slack and we talked to him directly in Slack.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Absolutely gorgeous design, really smart UX choices, really responsive. Extremely reasonable price for something you could easily pay an agency to do (probably worse) for much more money

I spent many hours searching online for the perfect web developer. When I looked through MazePixel's portfolio I knew right away that he had the esthetic that we were looking for.

MazePixel did a few mockups but the project went very quickly. We had a number of pages and templates redesigned.

I was the project manager on the redesign but I reported every aspect of the design to the CEO for his approval.

We haven't gone live with the site yet but we're extremely happy with the work that was done.

I can not compliment MazePixel enough on how well the process went. Everything was completed well on time, communication exceeded our expectations and any revision requests were handled quickly and professionally.

I was impressed with the overall quality of MazePixels work, the constant communication, and the positive and professional attitude towards the project.
