They worked EXACTLY like we wanted and were comfortable with. Everything was done with specific timelines and updates throughout the process. We always got some initial sketches and then multiple options, and then the final product always looks beautiful.

We have partnered with Decojent on some projects as our extended team. These are design and web development-related requests. We share the requirement, the team works on wireframes, mockups, concepts. Once these are reviewed and approved, the team works on illustration design and UI design.

We have worked with 4-5 resources, they are graphic signers, project managers, and web developers.

Decoject produces good output, something we like mostly, in the first go. The team is very responsive and listens to feedback well.

As I said, this is our extended team. The communication and coordination are flawless.

Their design sense is quite good. They always try their best to exceed our expectations.

We have been working with Decojent for the last two years. We work as a team. We love their ability to understand, listen and innovate with design requirements, this ability is quite rare in design firms.

For company branding work, Decojent shared a questionnaire to deep dive into the personality of the brand so they could build a logo and brand ui kit that resonated with the owners. For application development (web and mobile) we had discussions on scope for the project, what high level sections and pages would be needed, and Decojent would discuss with us how to design our apps to meet our goals while staying to best practices.

Owner on billing and overall satisfaction management. Project manager / senior designer to help manage the project and expectations. Designers to support various aspects of the designs depending on their specific skills.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have been pleased with the outcomes of our projects with Decojent. They communicate clearly and meet deadlines well. From branding work to ui/ux design we have received positive feedback from employees, owners and customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was good. Kickoff and scoping could be done in virtual meeting, and most subsequent updates are communicated via messaging or email. Team responsive and able to connect as we need.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The speed at which they can turn tasks around, especially if we are in a time crunch, like having deck design support before an investor meeting or something. They work all hours of the day and meet the expectations they've set.

We hired Decojent through Upwork.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After we submitted the project requirements, Decojent reviewed them and started working right on it. We had a few calls concerning details of the client's wishes and Decojent kept on refining those. We received regular reports on working hours. Deadlines have been met, great results.

Our team worked directly with the UI/UX designers and the account manager.

We have been very pleased with the whole project management and the on-time delivered results.

Communication happened via video call or mail. No problems at all, everything went great.

They had very talented designers and communicators. They push back if some of our suggestions does not make sense. We really appreciate that.

There have been a few details in the designs that did not make sense. Those came up during the development stage. However, minor things, nothing to worry about really.

A software application that was part of my thesis work for the masters in CS degree.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I searched online for UI/UX designers. After going through their portfolios, I shortlisted 3, and selected Decojent after my first chat with them.

I contacted Decojent to explain my needs. We kicked off the process with an in-depth meeting, in which I explained the whole application flow and what I hoped to accomplish. Once this was fully understood, they asked me for a few days to come up with a proposal, which they delivered on-time. We agreed on the terms of deliverables and payment, which triggered the second phase of the project. The first draft of the design was delivered a couple of weeks later (on-time as well). We also scheduled a call to go over the design, explaining the reasoning behind it. I provided feedback on a couple of items, which were timely redesigned. Once we agreed on the final design, the team starting working on the deliverables, which I received on time.

I worked directly with the project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was very pleased with the results. The application was an integral part of my thesis work, and having it presented in such a professional way took the work to a whole new level.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was great. They promptly responded to any communication requests I had. At some point during the project I had to travel for work, and they accommodated to the different timezone for all our communications.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Two things mostly: the quality of their work, and the way in which the team communicates.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really. They were very responsive, always on-time with deliverables, and produced quality work.
