I’m the director of Medical Symbiosis, a medical device company. We sell a local anesthetic-based product for men’s health, specifically for premature ejaculation.

What challenge were you trying to address with CUT THRU?
We engaged with CUT THRU for strategy and branding.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
CUT THRU’s initial work focused on strategy and branding overview. Their work involved organizing our site’s details by giving guidance on our graphic designs, copies, and messaging. They built our site from an existing code, and they tweaked it to improve the UX. They also came up with a brand bible that includes details on the key components and messages of our social media posts. In order to finalize that, they conducted a couple of workshops where we had several brainstorming sessions.
In addition, the team worked on creating taglines for our website. They also conducted market analysis to identify our opportunities, similar to a SWOT analysis where they determined our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. They examined a group of men aged 18 to 42, and they looked at their needs in terms of improving sexual confidence. One of the things they focused on was premature ejaculation.

We mainly worked with two people from CUT THRU, including Jonathan (Founder) who served as our point of contact. We also worked with their copywriter.
How did you come to work with CUT THRU?
A business colleague recommended CUT THRU so they were in the back of my mind for a time. My business partner also came across their company independently. After that, we reached out to CUT THRU to secure an appointment.

We spent $9,000 AUD (approximately $6,700 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our collaboration ran from March–April 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
CUT THRU had significantly altered our messaging, and we were happy with where our messaging had taken us. When we collaborated, we were still a brand new company, and they were able to help us have consistent branding and messaging across all our platforms. They were able to clear up some confusion on our external customers’ side on where our brand sat within the market. With their help, we were able to seamlessly navigate the medical and sexual side of our product instead of just relying on one aspect.
How did CUT THRU perform from a project management standpoint?
They had a perfect project management process, and we mainly used Slack and Asana. We had around three face-to-face sessions during our engagement, and they always got back to us within five days. They underpromised and overdelivered. Above all, they stuck to our budget, and they contributed more than what was expected from them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
CUT THRU was honest and trustworthy. We were impressed that they had an individualized approach to our product. They also put a lot of thought into each of our project's steps. They were able to broadly see our strategy, and they brought everything together to achieve our goals.

No, we were always happy with CUT THRU’s services. We enjoyed working with them, and we'd like to work with them again.
