So I got to know about Crust videos through a colleague of mine. I contacted them and asked for their showreel. After watching it I was convinced that they can achieve what I had in my mind.

As I've described earlier the objective of this brand video, the creative process started with fixing a call with Garima (founder), the founder of Crust video. During the call, I explained to her the objective, look, feel and style of the creative and brand guidelines. Post this she took the project and after a few days shared the first cut.

They created exactly what I had in mind. They also suggested a better execution. So for me, it demonstrated their understanding of the subject.

The team was prompt in replying to my emails and fixing a Google meet. They were accessible through WhatsApp as well to expedite the process and cut-off feedback and execution time. They delivered all the assets on time.

Their knowledge in gif and video domain. The team took care of the technical and creative aspects efficiently. They patiently listened to all my feedback and made all the changes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It's just if they could provide two options of the minor changes. It helps in decision-making. Although they provided it once I requested.

She was very cooperative, and she showed her experience and understanding that such projects may include a lot of details that may pass unnoticed at first and then be observed later. She was there to support us all the way and could grasp immediately what we had in mind.

this video will be played soon in a milestone inauguration event and we hope it will create a very positive impact to our guests and high dignitaries attending.

The videos created would be used as core course content and be available to a large number of learners via LMSs and Websites. The metric for the success of the project was mainly determined by the prompt responses and timely delivery of the entire project in accordance with the set guidelines.

They have a very organized project management style. Apart from their prompt responses, the timeline set was adhered to and the deliverables were provided on time.

So as I have already mentioned that the scope of work was to make a video for product promotion using the actual product images and had to add animation with customising icons for a better understanding followed with a VoiceOver.

The video was made essentially to increase brand sales. Since the campaigns are in the learning phase therefore it would be difficult to tell the number of sales which certainly it would be achieving. Howsoever, the number of video plays are good.

The workflow balance of Crust is awesome. They deliver the work in the requisite time as per our office hours.

The director of Crust Video is just a call/message away to hear any of the requirements or to offload any changes required for the project.

I believe there is never a threshold of improvements. Therefore, I believe the team should always pay more attention to the project onboarding and its deliverables.

Our objective was to develop an advocacy video which could be used to advance key issues and highlight our efforts.

How did you select Crust Videos?

I did an online search and found a list of potential vendors on Clutch. I found the Clutch platform and the reviews therein extremely useful to narrow down my search to 2 companies based on their previous work. I approached both but found Crust to be more accommodating and they displayed flexibility in terms of cost, terms of work as well as payment.

We engaged Crust to produce a 4-min video using graphic, animations, photos and videos. Filming or voice-over was not required.

We provided them with a basic storyboard and shared photos and videos. Crust discussed our requirements in detail and quickly turned around with a detailed storyboard, followed by graphic options and other design elements.

Once approved they provided their first cut in a timely manner. Our project went through several round of edits. They were extremely patient with us and carried out the edits efficiently. I was impressed with Crust on their reverts. They always responded efficiently to my emails and calls.

The video was screened at an online event and was appreciated by our senior management and panelists. More screenings are planned in the near future.

They were extremely effective: they understood our requirements well and shared their process. They met all deadlines - sometimes going out of their way to help. They responded patiently and efficiently to our numerous edits. Crust delivered what they promised in a timely and efficient manner.

I do want to express my appreciation for their support by working late night when we had to screen the video the next morning. I also want to acknowledge their patience for working through our countless edits.

Once we made changes and finalized on the script the team went to work on creating the storyboards and illustrations/assets for the video. Once we gave a go ahead on the same, the team went into production and gave us the final output within 10 days. We only had a feedback on minor audio related issues but other than that the quality was stellar and was delivered in very short time.
