We engaged Conversion Fanatics to help us improve our conversion rates from our e-commerce website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Conversion Fanatics developed a program for A/B testing to figure out how we could improve our website conversion rates. We designed tests around the strategy they created, which they developed using various analytical tools. They also built and executed the tests.

I work with a few people on their team, including Elizabeth Willis (VP of Marketing, Conversion Fanatics), a project manager, a designer, and a developer.

We conducted an extensive search for conversion rate specialists and really liked what Conversion Fanatics had to offer in terms of pricing and services.

We've invested around $60,000 thus far.

We started working with them in May 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

Conversion Fanatics has significantly improved our conversion rates year over year. They've helped us achieve results that have exceeded our expectations.

They're excellent. From a project management perspective, they're the best I've worked with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm not only impressed by their level of management but also their technical and design expertise in particular. They do a great job of implementing our ideas.

No. They've been proactive and do a great job overall.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be as clear as possible in presenting ideas and goals to their team. Conversion rates can be broad in nature, so it's important for the client to help narrow down what to prioritize during the process.

I'm the CEO of SnapBrands. Our main product is a monthly subscription box of cosmetic products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Conversion Fanatics?

We needed a company to optimize our website through AB testing and manage our Facebook campaigns.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Conversion Fanatics built out an Upsell funnel for us, so any time someone purchased a subscription to a beauty box or bought anything from us online, they automatically received recommendations of other products they could buy.

They also set up our Facebook ads, overseeing everything from images and copy to targeting specific Facebook groups and managing the spend for each group. (We ran about $50,000 of Facebook ad buys.)

In terms of AB testing, they went through our website and tested everything, from where the buttons were located to what the text was. After that, they were continuously monitoring, testing, and optimizing our website to push more sales.

I mostly worked with their CEO.

I met with them at a networking event.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $75,000–$100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in September 2013 and the engagement ended when I sold the business in March 2014.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They helped us take the company revenue from $100,000 a month to about $300,000 a month. The average lifetime value of a customer also increased from about $60 to over $100. The size of our customer base almost tripled, while the amount each customer spent more than doubled.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

The first few months were very hands-on as they were getting to know our business and learning about our goals. After that, I had a solid level of confidence and trust in them, so I turned the keys over to them. We usually used phone and email to communicate, but we also met in person quite often. They're great communicators.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When you own a business, there are many vendors that reach out to you and tell you they can increase your revenue. However, Conversion Fanatics is the only company that delivered what they said the would.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They're not a low-cost option. But you get what you pay for, and Conversion Fanatics delivered exactly what we needed.

Conversion Fanatics came highly recommended from other eCommerce operators I respect (mastermind members etc).

Conversion Fanatics put together a plan and implemented it with very little input from our side. after running tests they would report back on the winners and supply us code to have our website updated. This was an efficient process from our perspective.
