It is basically an On-Demand app that serves as a platform to facilitate pet shops and hospitals to provide home service or essentials delivery at doorsteps.

On this project, we have 13 specialized resources connected together to develop the app, with a SPOC as a Business Analyst. Apart from that, we have a Steering Committee that includes the CEO and Engagement Manager, who are playing a vital role in discussing stakeholders' project ideas to deliver the accurate final product.

As of now, the project is under the development phase though it is moving very swiftly and the designs that had been implemented look phenomenal. I am sure that the development is going to be the best with the best team. So far the experience of getting things designed and developed is amazing.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We had video and phone call meetings, but most of the feedback was through skype email. Everything was delivered on time and we received ample warning if a deadline wasn't going to be met.

After that, the user can buy the parking space for a definite period of time and make the payment for the same through fully-secure payment modes.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

It has been a tedious process for us to find such a company that can understand and build the most suitable solution for our customized idea. Therefore, we searched and listed a number of custom web development companies. Among those names, we found Codiant the most suitable one.

Since our first interaction, they understood our idea and assured us to develop the web platform as per our requirements. Later, we had a detailed discussion on the project idea and got a brief over UI design and some basic features that needed to be integrated with the web product. Overall, they provided us with a variety of quality ideas from their experience to enhance the project quality.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

It is a Background Check Web Platform based on a credit per request. The platform allows its user to send the request to get the information based on the Name and RUT number requested. Each request will discount some credits from the client's account which were added by the admin.

If the user doesn't have enough credits. The user will have to request more credits. Admin will be able to create clients and allot the credits to their account and can also handle the queue of the reports requested. The technologies used to build the website Project (CR) are Php, Laravel, HTML5, and MySQL for database management.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were in direct communication with BA, who was responsible for managing and coordinating our project specifics while aligning the development process. He ensured to track and maintain the product quality and timeline of each milestone. The other resources that worked on the project development were Project Manager, Team Lead, Front-end Developers, Back-end Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA Specialists, and DevOps Engineer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The website’s UI hits the right note with user behaviour. The design elements reveal undeniable strength of trust, reliance, and professionalism. People are finding the website a great initiative that lets them gain awareness of how secure is their locality.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

It was very easy to connect with the team via emails, Skype, and video calls. They used tools that enabled us to access the ongoing project, test it, and comment on our edits on the product. The project manager could easily find such issues and get back to the team to fix the problem at their earliest. Apart from that, we had a SPOC as the Business Analyst. It has been very easy to connect with him instantly, in case of urgency, in no time he scheduled the call and discussed the issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In the IT industry, it is very common for clients to face several hiccups during the development phase. But that wasn’t the case with Codiant. We didn’t have to go through any of the situations while working with Codiant’s team. We even put forward some updates in the middle of development and they were constructive enough to implement those under my budget.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing I could think of. They did a great job.
