Foundation- BuildClinical is a Clinical Recruitment Web Platform that supports academic researchers to carry out participants’ recruitment who can assist them in the research work.

The admin and the super admin are the two entities that are responsible to monitor the work and activities carried out on the platform, and they can even assign new research work to the researchers. The Admin/Super Admin can even invite the experts to conduct research work on any specific topic while associating with the platform and manage all their documents, reports, details, and other research work on the platform with required security and confidentiality.

Overall 13 different resources were involved in the Foundation- BuildClinical Web Platform Development. The team included:

Such transparency with every progress has helped us to analyze the project progress and infuses a sense of confidence with the final project delivery.

During the entire course of the project, it has been really convenient to connect and communicate with them. We also had the regular virtual meeting on a weekly basis, however, we communicated on calls as well whenever required. The team was very well-organized and responsible for their tasks. They ensure to maintain the deadline of every small to the large assigned task and used to update us accordingly with the details and time required to finish the task.

The entire experience has been very good and seamless communication with the BA helped us to ensure that all the monitoring and progress are on the track. BA has been our SPOC, and the cordial assistance from him helped to resolve our queries and doubts instantly.

It has been our dream project, so it was really important to get the sense that the team is capable enough to deliver a quality project while keeping us in the loop with the progress and maintaining their end of truthfulness. Both candidates and companies have to create their profiles and fill in the necessary information on the web.

They both can connect with each other in case of any query. This web platform simply resolves the burden of recruiters as they do not have to surf multiple sites to find the right candidates. Similarly, candidates can also find the best companies they like to associate with and can connect with them easily.

In our current journey with the team Codiant, we are majorly interacting with 11 members of the team. It includes Project Managers, QA specialists, Team Leaders, UI/UX Designers, DevOps, Front-end Developers, Back-end developers, etc.

We are in the final stage of software development i.e. UAT stage which is about to finish in a few days. Overall, the collaboration with the team is very smooth and their work is quite satisfactory. We received correct and very cordial resources throughout the course of the project, from staff who are experts in their field.

Also, their ambitious behavior and positive mind-set formed a good working environment from the very beginning, even during the selection process. We speak every day over instant messenger (Slack, Teams). We have regular calls, both planned and impromptu.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I asked them to develop a website and provided them with hand-drawn sketches. They implemented my ideas and showed me screenshots of what the website would look like. Since we wanted to have a page for each film with detailed information, they also gave input on the layout. After we agreed on everything, they started the actual build of the site.

I was initially in contact with their boss. Eventually, I talked more often with another person who handled everything. They were both very nice.

A friend of mine referred me to a couple of firms for this project. I asked both firms for a cost estimation, and I chose the less expensive option.

We spent approximately $3,800 on their services.

The project took approximately 4 months, and it was completed in June 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

am very happy with the website. Not only is it intuitive, it is also good aesthetically. It is quite useful since people who need information about us can find it online. The website also improved the way we work and made it faster.

How did Codiant Software perform from a project management standpoint?

Since we spoke often, I didn’t feel the distance at all. We communicated several times via Skype and phone calls. I think they worked longer hours than we do. Despite the time difference— they are based in India—they were always available.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very professional and responded positively to my requests. During the development stage, they often asked me to validate their work and checked if I had any questions. If there were some mistakes or things I didn’t like, they changed things immediately.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so. We never had any problems, and they were really good in all aspects.
