We started with the concept and goals and then really became specific how to achieve these goals:
It started with a Sitemap + IA to give a very general sense of our roadmap.
From there we built out wireframes to determine the general structure.
From wireframes we created the intial design of the website.
Once design was created and approved, Catch Digital helped us with the content strategy.
They coordinated all the development aspects on our behalf with their development team.
Finally they consulted on SEO optimazation for the content we were creating. We didn't realize the strategy in the content was so important but glad they were able to help us on this front.
This process was so seemless and they made it enojyable!

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We had a goal but didn't know how to get there. Catch took our goal, made it a vision that we could brakdown and then created it piece by piece. Now we have a beautiful website that is converting leads and we almost can't keep up, it's a good problem to have!

Yes Catch's team was very responsive on emails and we had multiple meetings virtually which is great becuase it's tough to meet in person with my schedule. Happy they made it so easy to collaborate!

I’m the owner of a functional fitness facility where we do functional fitness classes. We also do sports-specific training and work with Calgary North Stars Hockey Association in their group and individual training. We just opened a year ago, around January last year. This summer, we opened a retail store within the gym, and we partnered with other brands.

What challenge were you trying to address with Catch Digital?
We worked with Catch Digital when we were not quite open yet, and the main goal was the pre-registration — getting the word out about the gym opening up.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped with our initial branding needs. They developed and designed our website on Wix. They also created our Facebook page. Moreover, the team set up our ads account, viral campaigns, Facebook campaigns, email marketing, and more.
I worked with Brad (Lead Strategist & Owner) closely on this and I let him run things. I oversaw what he was doing and it was a joint effort. He really helped a lot with the ad implementation because that was not my area of expertise.
What is the team composition?
I only worked with Brad. However, he would occasionally hire some external partners to shoot videos and other things.
How did you come to work with Catch Digital?
Brad is my friend. I knew that he had a very good mind for marketing. I also looked around and checked out few other businesses in Calgary that were managed by my other friends. However, knowing Brad, his track record, and portfolio — he was on another level than his competitors. I felt more comfortable working with him because I knew that he could get us to where we needed to be.

We spent close to $16,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our partnership ran from March 2019–March 2020. In October 2019–January 2020, we were already getting ready to open and launch the campaigns.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
All of Brad's efforts paid off before we opened. We got over 500 pre-registrations for the gym, from the referral campaign. Our campaigns did very well and it was one of the keys to our opening. From the pre-registration, we converted around 35%–45%. Overall, the purpose of getting the word out to people was very successful.
We also knew that we brought another level of advertising and website — stuff that other gyms weren’t really doing. Furthermore, our company received positive feedback from external stakeholders and they mentioned that we have a nice website and an easy signup process. Overall, Catch Digital built a very fluid platform.
How did Catch Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
We set up a Slack channel and we just communicated that way. We also talked on the phone all the time, but Slack was where Brad kept me updated with the team's progress. We also conducted our weekly meetings on that platform so communication was always good — I didn’t have a problem there.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I would definitely work with Catch Digital again in the future. Their knowledge was outstanding. I also would recommend Catch Digital to anybody looking to take their business to the next level, even if they’re still in a startup stage.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing comes to the top of my mind when it comes to areas they could improve. When we first started, Slack was new to me and it took me a minute to figure it out. However, a couple of weeks after, Brad and I got on the same page. Moreover, we began to understand each other's working styles.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be prepared to have somebody who is going to work day and night for you. He put in a lot of hours for me that I couldn’t have asked for more. As a friend, I would definitely recommend him.
However, even if I didn’t know him personally, I would still highly recommend Brad because he takes the project personally and he wants his client to succeed. Overall, he’s really going to give his all for the project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our cost per click this year was almost half of what it was last year. Our conversion rate has also improved. We’ve received more leads than I can even handle. I’ve also received a lot of positive feedback on the site from customers. The tier system helps us stand out.
How did Catch Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They communicated with us on a regular basis. Brad and I have phone calls to make sure we’re both up to speed on everything or just to check in. I’d give them five stars.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very accommodating. I aimed to have the site done by February before the home and garden show, but I was a bit behind on providing them with content to populate the site. They helped me set up a CRM capture system in time for the home and garden show to ensure I could take down people’s information.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could improve their timeliness slightly. However, in this case, a lot of that was on my end. I’ve also seen improvements on this from the first time I worked with him to the second.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Get your information to him as quickly as possible or come into the project with a plan for what content you want where. That will shorten the timeline.

Since I did not know a ton about the digital world I felt comfortable knowing I would own all the work Catch did for me. Other agencies I looked at did not typically do that.

I had early response to the website with a request coming in almost immediately, I have had others identify the got my phone number from my website, that is all I can ask for in this very weak oil and gas cycle we are in but I am ready for improvement in the industry.

I am the co-founder and president of Paradigm Nutrition. We empower women to optimize their health and performance through nutrition coaching and education. We have a number of programs within our company, including our group program Shift, one-on-one coaching, coach mentorships, personal training, and more. Most of our work is online.

Catch Digital handles the digital strategy that complements our existing social media strategy. Our main source of new business is through our social media channels and those of our coaches, and we are working with Catch to create systems that mirror those activities to increase the overall leads coming in.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal of the project is to have ongoing systems that mirror our different launches (such as Shift, our Coach Mentorship, and one-on-one). We also want to build a system that can be turnkey for our coaches.

How did you select Catch Digital?
We selected Catch Digital because they were very transparent in the process and showed us the overall user flow. While we have a lot of our own knowledge of social media, the rest of the digital world is foreign to us. Catch was able to help us understand how it all works together. Brad and his team are great at what they do, and they do way more than other agencies were offering.

Strategy, including the user-flow,
Creative direction, telling us what we need to do since we are a big part of the brand,
Media buying, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, Google ads, etc.
They also directed us on our marketing automation, how it works with digital, and how it all works together between our social media and our new digital strategies.
What was the team composition?
We work closely with Brad, the owner, and Katy and Abby. Katy is the project manager and Abby is a copywriter who helped with some of our content for the ads. Brad takes care of the media buying and the overall strategy, so he was our main contact.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have set up lots of automation under Brad's direction and we have successfully increased our lead-to-sale conversion rate because of that. We've also launched our coach mentorship campaign and have seen a good return on investment from that as well.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Catch Digital uses Asana which is great because we do too and we are used to working in it. We have a shared board that keeps everything very transparent and I feel comfortable with the visibility of work being completed. Catch is very strong at project management because of how closely their team works and how closely they work with us.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Just their overall knowledge and creative minds when it comes to helping us within our industry. They are quick to execute and adapt if the campaign data tells them to. I also feel that they really care about the success of our business. Their model is very transparent and we own all of the work that they do for us, as opposed to other digital marketing companies we talked to.
Are there any areas for improvement?
It was more expensive than I was hoping to spend because I don't really understand this world, so it was difficult for me to justify at first. But throughout the process, they have improved at explaining the back end and have been open with how everything works. It's clear that the high investment is worth it based on our ROI and the depth of work that is being completed. Improving communication with people who aren't familiar with digital would be the biggest area for improvement in our experience.

Our main was to improve our Google Ads performance and capture more qualified/informed leads through our paid marketing. After an in-depth audit of our account, we decided to move forward with a combination of Google Ads management paired with premium landing page services created by the Catch team. Key Deliverables:
