Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director and CEO of Kiote Services, an IT service provider that specializes in implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, ranging from accounting to human resources to sales inventory. We work mainly with small to medium-sized businesses.

We’ve worked on a variety of ERP projects with Caret IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Recently, we had a client who needed additional customizations, so we brought Caret on board. They’ve worked on other ERP implementations for hospitality, oil and gas, and a warehouse.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Caret provided the customizations of certain functions and modules within our client’s software. We take their business requirements and work with Caret to create the technical requirements and implement functional ERP solutions. They do the intensive coding to get the system working and also conduct testing to certify that everything’s working well.

They make high-level customizations to modules that meet our clients’ expectations. One client had a set of very specific requirements to manage their assets off-site, and Caret perfectly met those expectations. The client was happy and still uses the module to this day.

We talk every day, and Caret is extremely responsive; they’re always available during business hours. They clearly review next steps and explain their plans and timelines. We communicate via phone, email, and Google Docs.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They want to make sure that they understand the project and correctly meet requirements. I’ve worked with other agencies who didn’t care. They address any of our concerns or questions and always come through.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’d be nice if they improved their technology and integrated products such as Asana and Smartsheet.
