As well was a noticeable decrease in HR workload due to the AI HR assistant effectively handling common employee questions. Though the development is still in progress, the client received the first positive employee feedback on the AI HR assistant's responsiveness and accuracy.

Cooperation with Brights has left only positive impressions. Brights were always in touch and easily accessible at any time.  

The tasks are always delivered on time and within budget. Their team offered many ideas during our cooperation and provided the best solutions.  

Project management was excellent. We held weekly meetings to discuss project statuses and plans, facilitating contact and constant progress monitoring.

I’m the founder of a product that helps freelancers in Upwork to find jobs faster. We analyze the feed on Upwork to help freelancers get more clients.

We were looking for someone who could take over from our previous development partners because they couldn’t deliver the results they promised.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brights has made everything from architecture to the application’s design. They’ve become our full-time partner, working on front- and backend development and implementation.

Initially, they took over and started analyzing the legacy code to understand how to improve it from the backend. Brights then created a plan to improve the UX and build the whole application.

They use React as the main development language. We’re in charge of the design.

What is the team composition?

We work closely with the COO. We also have a project manager, two frontend developers, two backend developers, and a QA engineer. Additionally, Dmytro (CEO & Co-Founder) oversees the architecture.

They were a referral. We tried two development teams before we found Brights.

We’ve spent $300,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in August 2021, and our relationship is ongoing. We’ve finished the project but are still doing some maintenance.

We’re heavily working on the speed of the database and how fast it loads because it interacts with different data simultaneously. The main metric we’ve been able to improve is how fast the results are shown to our clients. Within each query, we’ve doubled the results based on the text they use. I can’t say enough how happy we are to have Brights as partners.

How did  Brights perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re happy with Brights’ quality and budget. They're also accurate with the timeline.

We have a Slack channel, and they’re added to our ClickUp project. Initially, we had biweekly stand-up meetings and then moved to one weekly stand-up. We’re currently doing one monthly meeting, chatting, and Zoom calls to communicate.

Their COO is amazing and has helped us navigate the project's challenges.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their architecture work is their best part. It’s hard to navigate the project as a non-technical person, so having someone to rely on is nice. So far, Brights has been able to deliver everything they’ve said.

Moreover, I can’t say enough about how great they are at the consulting level. They suggest the best ways to build the product, properly address the upcoming challenges, and navigate the technical aspects we don’t understand.

The best value we get from their team is that they help us on how to move forward and are very accurate in their estimations.

The only thing they could improve is their English level because they’re not native speakers.

For the past 2 years, Brights has been providing ongoing support services, including the redesign and enhancement of some pages and blocks and minor optimisations or integrations on a quarterly basis.

At the beginning of the project, there was a lot of change, including our Project Manager, who left towards the end of the design phase. We had to follow up a few times and confirm the next steps so we were clear. However, with the change in new project managers, we have been really happy with the process. Despite the time difference, they communicated very effectively, through Slack and through virtual meetings when needed, and always responded in an efficient manner.

For what projects/services did your company hire Brights, and what were your goals?

We have been working with the Brights Team for the past 1.5 years now. We initially hired them to develop our brand new online platform for our launch. In addition, as it has been such a pleasure to work with them, we also decided to stop using a 3rd party LMS platform and build it from scratch with the Brights team.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Brights was recommended to us by another UX agency. From the very first call we had with their team we were very impressed by their communication and organisational skills. We knew right then that our project would be in good hands!

Our goal was to build an online platform for global competition. We kicked off the project with an initial call to define the goals and timeline. During the project development, the brights team was always available on slack to ask or answer any questions and to have follow-up calls if needed. The technologies we used were: Front-end: React.js, Next.js Back-end: Node.js, Storyblok video courses, integrations with mentorship program Incognito desk, SurveyMonkey Apply

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I have been working closely with the project manager. In addition, I was in close contact with the front-end and back-end developers as well as the designer on occasion.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our goal was to launch the platform in a very tight timeframe which we did! Since then, there have not been any issues or bugs on the platform which we are very impressed with.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Our project manager (Nata) is an absolute star! Our main source of communication is via slack and on Google Meet if needed. She is an excellent project manager and extremely friendly, professional, helpful, and always available. All of our projects were met in the agreed timeframe.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Brights team really will go out of their way to make sure that you succeed with your project. As our project was pretty complex, they really helped brainstorm to find the best solution possible. Their whole team is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The developers I got to work the closest with (Olya and Was) did an excellent job in building the platform how we envisioned it. Working with Nata and the Brights team has been an absolute pleasure, and I would highly recommend them!
