BrightDock designed the entire look and feel for our zoo app. Their approach made us question other sides of our app and think about how to position the user interface so that it’s easier, faster, and better to use without having to explain anything. They increased the dialogue, which made our output better.
Their team is now working on our website so we can push ourselves into other industries. BrightDock has allowed us to have a voice through graphic design, positioning, iconography. I told them I wanted some iconography to match the industry we’re targeting so that those potential clients get what services we’re offering right away. BrightDock came up with talking points that facilitate the conversation with the target market through iconography.

We haven’t launched the new site yet, but we’re pretty positive based on BrightDock’s past performance that it’s going to be very successful.

They’ve met every single deadline; in fact, they’ve come in early almost every time. I’ve never had to beg them for work. There is no ego in their graphic artist’s work as well. When we say we aren’t sure about a direction, they’re quick to pivot and change. We also have never had time zone issues. Every time I contact the team, they get back to me within an hour, no matter what time of day or night.
Overall, BrightDock is a good company to work with. I have nothing bad to say about them, which sounds ridiculous. That’s why we rehired them and continued to work with them.

They really understand what we want. Their goal setting and objective planning processes are very good. Plus, BrightDock designs for functionality, not just for design’s sake. That’s important to me. They listened, we had a couple of back-and-forths, and then the project was done.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Alt3, a life enhancement company through a unique form of human dynamics, human movement, and specialized nutrition.

What challenge were you trying to address with BrightDock?
We needed someone to develop our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed a very interactive, knowledge-based website for us. What they did was very striking. I had lots of conversations with the designers and it was very clear that they were very talented people. They came up with something remarkable. The clarity of understanding between them and myself came through very strongly. They built the website from scratch based on a domain name I already had. They host it on their system.
What is the team composition?
There were two people in total, one being Mateo (CEO).
How did you come to work with BrightDock?
I looked on Freelancer and got a massive number of responses. It was clear they were all good and talented people, but they were only there for the money. I wanted an exchange of ideas and an understanding of what we were doing.
I was advised by Freelancer to contact BrightDock. They were double the price of everyone else, but they had that unique form of understanding that was critical for me. When I had a conversation with them, it was clear that they are there to create long-term business relationships. Our success was tied to their success. I really liked that.
How much have you invested with them?

Our work spanned January–April 2020.

They created a stunning website. They’re very talented, creative people. The interaction from the public has been good.
How did BrightDock perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is very good. There were only 1-2 minor errors. Due to the depth of their understanding and the liaison between us, the communication was good and we got to where we needed to be very quickly. There was nothing to complain about. They’re available any time of the day on WhatsApp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their interaction is great. We don’t feel like just a number.

There’s a slight time difference, but it went smoothly.
