MUD WATT
OPPORTUNITY
For most of us, mud is nothing more than the sludge that ruins our carpets, clothes and shoes. For one California company, however, it could be a revolutionary source of sustainable energy. MudWatt has built a device designed to harness the energy released by mud-based microbes.
The device converts chemical energy found in the sugars and nutrients into electrical energy, and it uses special electric bacteria to drive that reaction. When bacterial fission reactions start, it start producing energy. Mudwatt team needed a way to track those electrical charges for enhancing capabilities of the device.
APPROACH
To track these charges, one way was to build an electrical device that can detect electrical charges but it was a costly method. To overcome the cost, our team decided to provide an application based solution. Our engineering team implemented an algorithm that can detect charges produce by mud-based microbes.
SOLUTION
The app leverages the technology of computer vision & algorithm to detect the power of your MudWatt by analyzing how fast the MudWatt's light is blinking. It also estimates bacteria population based on that power measurement and gives a graphical representation of that population. Users can even email their data for further analysis to their friends, parents, or teachers. The app also features a fun and educational comic of a growing community of electric bacteria trying to survive in this crazy muddy world
IMPACT
User must have a Mudwatt Microbial fuel cell for the app to work. App is installed by thousands of users & is now helping young child to learn biology mechanics.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the director of Balanced Healing for Heroes, a national nonprofit organization. We support veterans through PTSD and addiction recovery services.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrainX Technologies?
We hired BrainX Technologies to develop our website and an app we can use for our services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We first brought on BrainX Technologies to develop our app, but then expanded the scope of work to include website development. They developed our cross-platform app, including creating the UI/UX. We provided them with ideas of what we wanted to accomplish before they dove into the project. Then, they developed our website from scratch in WordPress. For the website, we request video integrations and links to our donation pages — BrainX Technologies developed 10 pages linked to our archived mediations.
On the app, users get daily notifications that new meditations are available. There is also a mood tool that allows users to input their feelings and give biochemical balance advice — it explains what users could use in terms of serotonin or dopamine. Another section of the app directs users to our website and donation pages.
Now, BrainX Technologies is providing maintenance and upgrade services for both products. They're adding new features and pages to the app and website.
What is the team composition?
We've interacted with about six teammates from BrainX Technologies, but our primary contact was the developer.
How did you come to work with BrainX Technologies?
We've worked with BrainX Technologies on logos and other projects for the last 3–4 years.
How much have you invested with them?
We've invested around $13,900 with BrainX Technologies.
What is the status of this engagement?
My engagement with BrainX Technologies began in December 2021, and it's ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
BrainX Technologies has delivered high-quality work, and we haven't had any issues. We're actively promoting the app and the website at the conferences we go to and we're starting to get more app downloads. The app's users say that it is easy to use and they never experience bugs. We never get negative feedback! Overall, the whole project has been a huge success — BrainX Technologies has delivered exactly what we wanted, and everything operates perfectly.
How did BrainX Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
BrainX Technologies always meets the few deadlines we give them — they also stick to the project timeline they provided. Typically, we communicate through Slack, although we had Zoom meetings at the beginning of the partnerships. We also use Google Analytics to track user metrics.
What did you find most impressive about them?
BrainX Technologies has done exactly what they said they would. Their communication is excellent. They never give us excuses when we challenge or change their concepts — they just deliver solutions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have nothing for BrainX Technologies to improve. They've never given us a reason to doubt them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I'd tell customers to provide BrainX Technologies with all the information they ask for; they're intelligent and can understand directions. It's important to be organized and specific.

Coaching App Dev for Real Estate Brokerage

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Director of Operations for a large real estate brokerage based in Oklahoma.
For what projects/services did your company hire BrainX Technologies, and what were your goals?
Our agents have a million different tools to use, but very little time to attend the training classes we offer. We needed a spot to deposit and organize training videos in a way they would use. We also wanted to start offering coaching and goal tracking to our agents, and felt that all of those goals aligned into one app.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Our CEO found BrainX through a connection, and after meeting with Adeel and Junaid, we knew we had found the right team. They immediately understood our problems, and had excellent suggestions right from the beginning about how we could attack the project.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
All along the way BrainX has been clear and communicated well. We began with our initial idea, and they broke it down into the technical requirements with phase deadlines, budgets and easy to understand deliverables. Anytime they had questions about our intent they ask to clarify, and give examples of ways the product can be even better or more elegant in the solutions along the way. We always know exactly what to expect from them.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We primarily communicate with just a couple of people, including the founder and CEO, but we know there are multiple people who work on the project within the company. I like having a point person, and they can delegate questions or issues as needed from there. BrainX is great in this.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We originally just planned for this app to be for our brokerage only, but we very quickly got interest from other brokerages we share ideas with. We have now sold the app to 2 other companies and are onboarding 2 more. We have more than 60% of our own agents using the app, which is a very large adoption rate for a tool in our industry. It's so easy to use, agents and brokerages love it.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Communication is prompt, and they are much better at it than I am! Their forecasts are very accurate, and they are clear and concise along the way.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Just so impressed with their ability to innately understand what we need and are looking for. We are not in the tech world, so have gone into some things a little blind if not naïve, but they have been so fantastic about providing ideas, understanding our goals, and helping us get there. We just really have loved working with this team, and are looking forward to keeping this partnership going. They are so easy to communicate with, turn out great work on time, and just have made this process so enjoyable!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I truly cannot think of anything. They have been amazing!

Staff Augmentation for Digital Medication Platform
“They’re very experienced and smart people, and they’re ready to be part of your team.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the Senior Director of Engineering at Perigon Health 360, a digital medication platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrainX Technologies?
We needed to augment our engineering staff to build our entire platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
BrainX has helped our engineering team build three platforms over the years. We used to be a vitamins company, so we first built a platform for tracking usages of our vitamin products out of our IoT dispenser. Since then, we’ve moved into the medication space, for which we’ve built a similar but more comprehensive platform. This platform helps us track our users’ medication usage, adherence, and compliance to the scheduled times they’re supposed to take their medications using our dispenser.
For these projects, BrainX has been involved in building the app, the backend system, and the dashboard. The main technologies we’ve used include Vue.js, Node.js, Laravel, AWS, Swift, and Kotlin.
What is the team composition?
Throughout our engagement, we’ve worked with two Android developers, two iOS developers, four backend engineers, and two frontend engineers. Additionally, Junaid (CEO) has consistently acted as the project manager.
How did you come to work with BrainX Technologies?
I found Junaid on Upwork years ago, and we started working together on our first project. Since then, both of our companies have grown exponentially, and we’ve continued working together.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent over $500,000, probably close to $625,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around June 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our most important success metric is the delivery of outputs. We work on sprint cycles, and BrainX has never failed to deliver on a sprint. This means that we estimate things correctly and can deliver the requested items. Oftentimes, we’ve been hard-pressed not to miss a deliverable on a sprint, but the few occasions we’ve actually missed a deadline have been due to unforeseen circumstances. In general terms, BrainX always delivers their work on time.
How did BrainX Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
BrainX’s project management has been great. Junaid works with us as the project manager despite being the CEO, and we can see that he runs the ship. He’s constantly on top of releasing the apps and pushing PRs. We use Jira to manage the project and determine the deliverables, and we communicate via Slack and video calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve built a great relationship with BrainX, and they’re now a part of our team, which is definitely one of their distinguishing qualities. They’re extremely responsive and capable of making adjustments in their time. They made themselves available for us based on the deliverables and our needs. I’ve worked with other contractors in the past, and they’ve not been nearly as responsive and dynamic as BrainX’s team has been.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything that BrainX could improve on. Although everyone has room for improvement, they’ve been very responsive to our needs.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You need not only to set clear requirements but also listen to BrainX’s team. They’re very experienced and smart people, and they’re ready to be part of your team.

Please describe your company and your position there.
TCM Review Seminars provides prep courses for students studying for their licensing exams. The company was established in 2008. I am in the founder and president of the company.
For what projects/services did your company hire BrainX Technologies, and what were your goals?
We hired in BrainX Technologies to develop a robust quiz plugin which we have been working on since 2019. It launched in Fall of 2020 and we worked on bugs and new features through 2021. This plug was an integral part of our business and would have set us up to corner the market for the work we do.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The vendor was recommended to us by our project manager who had used Brain X Technologies for previous builds. We interviewed other companies but opted for Brain X because our project manager's experience with them.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project was to create a detailed quiz plugin with a complete dashboard that provided students with clear measurable scores and results that would help them determine their readiness for the exam. The administration side had a lot of flexibility in how the tests were set up. We provided a very clear and detailed plan for the design of the quiz app. I have been working in the field since 2008 and was very clear about the kind of features that were needed.
The beta was completed in Dec. 2019 and the app launched in 2020. There were issues with the plugin from the start with data disappearing from user accounts, user being timed out of the plugin during tests, etc. Brain X was able to fix most of the issues. The plugin hooked into our membership plugin Wish List Member and is used on a Word Press website.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked mostly with Adeel and the developer M.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The plugin was riddled with issues from the start. It should have helped us corner the market but the functionality was flawed. Students were timed out in the middle of the exams. Scoring was not correct. We had issues with it all the way through Summer of 2021 when we finally got all the bugs fixed. I know it takes time with custom builds to get everything working correctly.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
In Spring of 2021, we saw a huge bump in our sales due to other improvements and perhaps due to the quiz app. That was also when we realized that the quiz app was inherently flawed. M built is so that every time a student answered a new question in quiz it would send an ajax call to our host server. Because of the added traffic on the site, this meant large overage charges due to the extra strain placed on the server. We talked with M about a fix for this. We tried to move hosting companies.
When M and Adeel realized that the only way to correct the issue was a rebuild, they walked away leaving us $15k in the hole with a useless plugin. They will not even provide a plugin map so we can at least have something to go to another developer with to start the rebuilding process. Another thing is that it hooks into WLM, there is no way for us to walk away from WLM without have to rearchitect the plugin. The entire design lacks flexibility and functionality.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We worked using Skype and project management tool. The deliverables were always on time but not always done to the specifications.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength
Honestly, at this point. Nothing. It has been one giant headache working with them.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Yes! Better design, better architecture. Honesty. Stand by your product and ensure that it is function as it should be.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Just Thrive was built with one simple goal in mind: To bring products and information you can trust so you can feel confident taking back control of your health. Our line of wellness supplements has the most scientifically-verified results in the industry. For you that means no guesswork, and no unknowns... You can feel confident you’re giving yourself and your family the best. My position: I am the Operations Manager at Just Thrive. I work in all realms of the company with a specialization in development and project management. I've been with JT for almost 3 years now.
For what projects/services did your company hire BrainX Technologies, and what were your goals?
Our website was created and moved to a different development team that wasn't necessarily saavy with Shopify and other 3rd party systems. It was slow, the previous development teams turnaround wasn't what we as a company wanted. We reached out to BrainX after hearing about their performance from another like company. I met with Umair, and he was quick to share some solutions that they could provide. Our goals were to completely change our PDP's as well as convert our Funnels to Carthook. Two massive undertakings. Not only do they develop, but they maintain and assist with our site and systematic operations.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Our COO goes to a conference called "CO" - He has vast connections to a lot of similar companies. A good collegue had mentioned the amazing success they've had with BrainX Tech. So we were very inclided to establish a meeting and work with them. Factors- Prompt timing on projects, amazing communication, suggestions and honest feedback, amazing work ethic.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The scope of work focuses around our frontend ane backend website development. The scope of work starts with our needs, wants or even BrainX suggestions of impowerment or betterment of our systems. We meet weekly with our development team to go over current projects that range from updating landing pages to aiding in fulfillment API set up. With landing pages, they are always honest in timeframes- we get the creatives, the copy, and then we assign to the team the development aspect, and the tangible being a fully tested landing page completion and review > then edits if necessary. We work in Asana as well as in slack- all communications are within Asana.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
1 Project Manager and 3 Full-Stack Developers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After the re-launch/redesign of our site, we've seen customer c-sats increase with the implementation of our customer portal (88% previous to 96.7% currently) We've also increased monthly revenue by 10% by perfecting transactionals, website speed, implementing changes promptly that are tested by our CRO team and approved/implemented and tested by BrainX Tech.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We work within Slack and Asana all through the week if necessary. We have weekly meetings to connect and talk about current project process and upcoming projects that are in Asana. Their project management style is SCRUM, which helps get large projects finished in a timely manner, while still hashing out some of the smaller tasks.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We're impressed by their communication, detail, honesty, and ability to hit deadlines. If they feel it isn't going to work, they will state it so, but also provide options. They do not miss deadlines- and each day they end with a "Daily Update". I feel like they aren't a 3rd party company- they truly are a part of our team.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I would love to see a more "visual" QA system. While they are very quick to get projects out and about, we have had to go a few rounds of edits to ensure functionality and clear some copy issues- which isn't all them, sometimes we have all the edits. (a typo) - However, they never press anything LIVE, until we've give an "all clear". And if there ever is a site issue, they are right on it to fix it.

Marketing Tech Integration for Health & Wellness Firm

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO for Native Path, an online health and wellness company.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrainX Technologies?
BrainX handles all of our marketing tech integration, website edits, and maintenance.
What was the scope of their involvement?
BrainX is like a full-stack team that handles everything, including Facebook Pixels, development of the funnel itself, product mapping, and fulfillment house.
They’ve built our site, so they do development work. They customize code Pixels and different variants of the site. If we want to update a cart, a sales page, a landing page, or a funnel, they can handle all the custom coding.
They also handle the integrations. If we want to add a third-party app, such as an SMS capture, they’ll integrate third-party apps into the site. They’re well-versed in everything about Shopify — from sales pages, themes, and online stores to products, payment gateways like ReCharge and Stripe, and subscription processing.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with four people from BrainX.
How did you come to work with BrainX Technologies?
We found them online. We were looking for some tech solutions, and we originally brought them in for a single project. It was a great experience and their price was affordable, so we decided to give them more responsibility and keep adding to the workload.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $12,000–$18,000. Their hourly rate is extremely affordable — $20 an hour.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2019, and our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
BrainX hasn’t done anything specifically to increase our average order value. That comes from our marketing team, and they just implement it. However, they have a great execution speed.
They have extremely detailed processes in which very few things ever fall through the cracks in the two years that we’ve been working with them. We send them something, and we never have to follow up and ask them if they’ve looked into it.
The team is honest and gives status updates. They’re extremely friendly people who work hard and are reliable, consistent, and timely. It’s really a pleasant experience.
How did BrainX Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
BrainX does a great job, and it’s only getting better. Because they’re in Lahore, Pakistan, they’re consistently adding in US-based time zones to have a full-stack coverage. As a result, if we have an issue at 11:30 PST, they’ll have a resource who is available at that time.
They’ve done a great job of rising to the challenges of a virtual and global workforce. You send them a message on what you want to be done and you’ll get consistent feedback until it’s done. There’s very little hand-holding or micromanagement happening.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Tech work is tech work. If you just see the finished product, you can look at two things and say they’re the same — unless you really understand how a website was designed and built.
However, one of them could be built with a strong foundation and clean code, and the other one could be built with duct tape and sticks and the output would be the same. That latter one might break over time. I like the quality of their work compared to someone else. They do the same work that other tech companies do, but what sets them apart is the fact that they do it quickly and affordably.
I’ve never given them a task that they’re unable to complete. It might be a task that’s new to them, but they’ll take it, do their research, and come back to give us a solution. We have our tech team talk to theirs to know the best way to implement what we want to do.
That level of personalization is really important. We’re not just a number in a long list of clients. They almost act like an internal resource and not an external hire. They don’t feel like a third-party hire, a consultant, or a contractor; they feel like our own internal tech team. They care about what we’re working on, which is really impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We had a call with them about this exact topic, and that’s the exact question they asked me. One of the things we touched on is having more resources available in US-based hours in case of emergency.
A lot of stuff can wait until the next day or that evening when they get online. However, in certain cases, the cart goes down, we want the tech person to be jumping on it within 20 minutes. They understand that, and that’s why they’re adding additional resources. That’s the one area that I think can be improved upon and they are excellent.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Selfishly, I want to say don’t work with them because I don’t want them to become so busy that we become a number. Growth and scale can do things to companies. We haven’t seen what BrainX will do with growth and scale, but we want them to succeed.
I want them to grow and trust they’ll handle that growth with grace and ease. To someone thinking about working with BrainX — no pun intended — it’s a no-brainer. They do fantastic work for an amazing price and you won’t find a team better equipped for that price point.

Our high-quality solar chargers, inverters, controllers, and power accessories that offer a durable, dependable, and cost-effective solution for mobile power needs where grid power is inaccessible, unavailable, or unsustainable. I am the project manager at Go Power!
For what projects/services did your company hire BrainX Technologies?
We had an existing mobile app and the developers that created it were too slow and expensive to continue working with. BrainX took over the existing code and added support for some new solar controllers.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals for the project were to add support for some new solar controllers.
How did you select BrainX Technologies?
Another one of the companies owned by Valterra called Minder Research found BrainX and used them for their mobile app. Minder recommended BrainX due to their excellent work.
Describe the project in detail.
The project involved interfacing to our solar controllers via bluetooth and communicating with them using a custom modbus protocol. They needed to replicate existing screens for already supported solar controllers and update the screens with display parameters and settings using the new modbus protocol.
What was the team composition?
Junaid has directed all of the efforts and assigned developers to do the work.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
BrainX did an excellent job and completed the work in a very timely manor. There is a big time difference between Go Power!'s location and BrainX's location, but Junaid usually answers emails and slack messages within minutes.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Junaid is very easy to communicate with and extremely organized.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We're pretty sure the team does not sleep as they answer our concerns and emails with agility even with the time difference.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They are getting a little busy and so we have had to wait a bit to have recent tasks completed, but as long as I give them enough notice it is not usually a problem.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a serial entrepreneur who’s worked with Brainx Technologies across multiple companies. Currently, I’m the CTO of a company called Kaffene.
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainx Technologies?
In multiple projects, Brainx provided consulting work and development services. We recently collaborated to deliver a video game news app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I initially hired them for their expertise in Ruby on Rails, but they’ve since provided Android/iOS development, coding in Objective-C, Swift, and Java.
In this particular news-scraping project, they focused on implementing and connecting the app’s frontend to the Firebase backend.
After the app’s completion, we experienced difficulties uploading the app to the Apple store, which kept on denying it. Brainx sat down with me to discuss tweaks to the application that would enable it to go live.
Once I receive a project quote, we’ll discuss tech specs, and then dive into the development phase. Operating as the project manager, I’ll oversee their progress to ensure that their daily contributions are up to standards.
What is the team composition?
Over the years, I’ve worked with two Ruby on Rails people, and four others for iOS/Android development.
How did you come to work with Brainx Technologies?
I found them through a freelancing platform. I gave them a small test project, as I usually do with prospective vendors, and really liked their work.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve spent around $80,000 with them throughout the years.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in August 2017, and it’s an ongoing relationship.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
You can tell that Brainx really cares about their work, which is a rare quality to find in an outsourced team. They respond urgently whenever there’s an issue. They demonstrated an impressive level of commitment in their endeavor to get my app onto the Apple Store, which they didn’t necessarily have to do.
How did Brainx Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
They were responsive and responsible in meeting deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I really appreciate the personalities that make up their team. They’re passionate about their projects, and that level of commitment is pretty hard to find.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Although I’ve been pretty happy with their services, I can see the time difference being an issue for people not used to working with an offshore team.

App Dev and E-Commerce Management for Marketing Agency
“We can be fairly hands-off, and they'll do exactly what we need them to do.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We're a performance-based marketing agency. We focus on online product development and traffic generation. I'm a co-founder and managing partner.
What challenge were you trying to address with BrainX Technologies?
They help with some of the work we can't do.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They coded a lot of our backend business model and took a lot of pressure off of us. We're currently working on a shopping app, which they built from scratch. The online shopping process hasn't changed much since its origins, so our app disrupts that by taking information from big retailers and allowing people to interact more within their shopping experience. We provided the framework, and they did everything else. They're also responsible for a lot of our backend funnels, integrations, optimizations, and checkout pages. They interpret, load, and manage a huge amount of data. We plan to release iOS and Android versions of the app soon.
What is the team composition?
I was one of their first clients. When we started, I worked with a team of three or four. Now, I have a day to day relationship with two individuals.
How did you come to work with BrainX Technologies?
A friend of a friend introduced us, and I fell in love with their services right away. We chose them because of their speed. They understood our technical specifications very quickly, especially in the areas of e-commerce and traffic generation.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent somewhere between $25,000–$35,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We've worked together for two or three years, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The biggest improvements we see are in-house. We can launch campaigns, optimize, and manage data much faster. We save a lot of time and can focus on other aspects of the business.
How did BrainX Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
They align with our vision, and they manage themselves very well. We can be fairly hands-off, and they'll do exactly what we need them to do. They've never dropped the ball, and they're easy to communicate with.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their knowledge, expertise, and professionalism are impressive, especially for such a young group of people. They're very experienced and very fair and flexible in negotiations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I'd like them to build up their capabilities in blockchain. I need a blockchain developer, and I think that would help them grow as a company.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Know exactly what you need. If you list the steps and explain your model and processes, they'll make sure you meet your goals.
The client is pleased with the high-quality deliverables from BrainX Technologies, which have gotten positive feedback from users. They've gotten more app downloads since promoting it at conferences. BrainX Technologies always adheres to the project timelines they've created; they communicate well.
