Context: Our company has an API that enables developers to mint NFTs programmatically and at scale. The task for Blackbox was developing a Shopify app that enables merchants to list NFTs for sale in their stores.

The project had three milestones:

• Developing the CRUD flows, API calls and functions in the React App
• in progress Create a collection. List an NFT for sale within that collection.
• Add React components to call those functions
• following the Figmas provided by our in house UX team Milestone 3
• Develop the minting flow
• Listening to the Shopify order completion webhook. Mint NFT. Send conformation email.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were in constant communication via Slack / Google Meet. Also had access to the repository and Project Management software so could see the progress in real time.

I was very satisfied with the work ethic of the team - they are experts in their field, communicate clearly, unblock rather than block and, most importantly, had the initiative to suggest changes that made a lot of sense, and improved our product greatly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

360º scope - they can help with any part of the dev process. If they haven't used a tool before, they will learn about it. They never overpromised. This was very important for me, as I had to manage the expectations internally.

Are there any areas for improvement or something BlackBox Vision could have done differently?

The QA process required a lot of proactivity from my side. If I didn't know how to code myself, I am not sure if we would have had a working product this fast.
