Before designing a new system of design, Ankord Media held a series of interviews with stakeholders, a benchmark study of its competitors and a couple of user testing crusades. They provided them with wireframes, interactive prototypes and final UI kit that fitted our brand identity. They also submitted annotated design documentation, which could be applied by our internal developers without any problems.

It was noticeable that the redesign of the booking flow increased user interaction and our internal teams found the crew interface to be improved. We also experienced a decrease in the support tickets regarding navigation or usability, which was also a huge success on our part.

In the project, we did a full UX review, spoke to stakeholders, rebuilt more than 40 screens on the internal platform and built a component library. The team provided interactive versions, complete UX material, flowcharts and excellent high quality mockups which development was able to pick up without delay.

Work involved creating a content plan, writing, designing graphics and managing the timing of posts on LinkedIn, Instagram and sometimes Twitter. They dealt with performance reports every month and suggested ways to modify content by observing user engagement. Our key deliverables were making 12–16 custom articles per month, these included carousel graphics, client showcases and thought leadership content.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
By the third month, our engagement on LinkedIn had risen by and our follower count had gone up. Referrals from social media to websites went up. We were most happy when people reached out to us after finding us by means of our content.
