BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I was the Product Manager for the OK Sir mobile app. OKSir is a SAAS based on demand, realtime online market place that links customers with service professionals to make it easier for customers to get all kind of services in a click at your doorstep.

This also help service providers get more opportunities. OKSir has over 50000 registered merchants and not expanding its business across other Asian nations.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire AJM Softwares, and what were your goals?

We required iOS and android mobile app that is well designed, well developed and bug free. Also required a backend admin portal for managing all the queries and produce an analytical report for the stakeholders

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Following a referral from a friend and looking at the past deliverables/ projects that AJM software worked on. Also an interview with the development team and the account manager gave us confidence that AJM Softwares is a professional and a best match to execute our project within defined timelines.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We wanted them to develop a highly robust, fully functional mobile apps. The main area of focus were security, payment gateways and the choice of appropriate technology.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The team was proactive enough to ask right questions and suggesting better solutions. Since wireframes were done by me, they were even involved in the designing and help us make the app better. They were able to deliver as per the plan iteratively which help us get early feedback from the end users in our testing phases.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Our communication happened usually over Skype. The team was very responsive and always available. English has been never an issue communicating with the team. The team is excellent with their communication skills

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their technical expertise, ability to accomodate the changes and responsiveness is something that impressed me the most. They were never frustrated and always would look forward for ways to make the product better. I was also impressed how Nilesh (Delivery Manager) would spend time to chat with individual client to understand the product and requirements better.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In my tenure with the company, I really dont see anything which they could have done differently to make their services better. This is undoubtedly one of the best vendors I have ever worked with.
