We are a mobile application development platform that serves multiple verticals and over 300 unique customers. Our platform provides customizable services and security layers based on our customer's needs across AWS Commercial and AWS GovCloud infrastructure.

We engaged AJM to help enhance the security of our existing app development and management platform. We needed to be able to meet the security needs of various customers and convert our platform to work and be simultaneously maintained and expanded on both Amazon Web Services (AWS) Commercial & GovCloud instances.

I have worked with AJM for over a decade now, and they have constantly met and exceeded my expectations. Before beginning this long-term relationship, I traveled to India to visit their office and meet their team.

AJM Softwares helped us develop and configure our cross-platform (iOS, Android & Web) code base on both AWS (Amazon Web Services) Commercial and AWS GovCloud to ensure the platform has the ability to meet the security needs of various commercial and government/public safety focused clients.

Project items included assistance with refining our data encryption (data at rest), user login/authentication capabilities (two-factor verification and, biometric), log audit tools, and tracking of all user interactions with our system.

We have three developers (iOS, Android and Web) and a project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This was a complex project that impacted all of our customers and required data migration across multiple legacy and new platform components. AJM helped us pull this off with virtually no downtime from a customer perspective and was able to address any minor issues in a timely manner.

The result was a more secure and customizable platform that has allowed us to expand our product offerings and reach.

Depending on the project, we have utilized various project management styles. For this specific project, we work in two-week sprints. Communication with the full team is every two weeks, and our respective US and India-based team leads connect 2 - 3 times a week. Day to day we utilize a number of tools including Skype, JIRA, and Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

For an India-based development company, their communication skills and ability to respond to critical items across time zones are impressive and is critical to my choice to continue this relationship.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall I don't have any meaningful recommendations for improvement. If you provide AJM with the resources to fully staff your project, they will meet and likely exceed your expectations.

Between the two sections "Methodology" and "Engagement," add a new section named BAS for "Business Alignment Score" to the current Blue Dots website www.bluedotspartners.com. Add a button (in our orange hue) on the main page that says "GET MY BUSINESS ALIGNMENT SCORE" and directs the user to the new area. Web development shop created a white background with the same fonts and color palette as the current website for visual consistency.

For the project, we worked with a team of one web developer and one project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Once a user has completed the survey, automatically send an email to us where the first number represents the date and time the survey was completed (must be Standard Pacific time), followed by the information identifying the person, title, and company. A password-protected Admin page presents a list of links in chronological sequence (most recent at the top). Each link allows us to download a CSV file with the survey results (see CSV example that contains the information).

We used to connect more on Skype for quick communication because AJM Softwares used the Google Workspace service. They were highly responsive and on schedule and very professional and pleasant to work with.

They were very responsive and engaged with a high level of integrity and creativity. I would strongly recommend them to anyone with software development needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes, their English is a little hard to understand (less when you get used to it), mainly in oral communications, not in writing.

We discussed our idea business analyst team after NDA to finalize the scope of work for our idea. They discussed all requirements on call and suggested a few additional features that attract more audiences to the app. They prepared the doc with all functionalities and wireframes of the apps before signing the contract.

Our project assigned to Mr. Anuj, Project Manager who curated the development strategy. As wireframes were ready, they started with UI/UX designs for the app. It takes almost a week to complete all screens and approved by our team.

Next, they worked on a app prototype to understand the workflow. The team started working on the development stage just after finishing the prototype. They scheduled weekly calls with our team to share completed tasks and asked for feedback. In some cases, they also show a demo to our team on how the app works and perform all features in real-time to identify the issues and solve them. Deliverables for our platform will be Android and iOS apps, a website, a web-based admin panel, and all design files and codes.

The team was proactive enough to ask right questions and suggesting better solutions. Since wireframes were done by me, they were even involved in the designing and help us make the app better. They were able to deliver as per the plan iteratively which help us get early feedback from the end users in our testing phases.

They were never frustrated and always would look forward for ways to make the product better. I was also impressed how Nilesh (Delivery Manager) would spend time to chat with individual client to understand the product and requirements better.

In my tenure with the company, I really dont see anything which they could have done differently to make their services better. This is undoubtedly one of the best vendors I have ever worked with.
