Facebook Ad Management for Quit-Smoking Products

“They are really on top of measuring all of our spend and explaining exactly how that translates into the return.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of a company manufacturing and distributing natural quit-smoking products.
What challenge were you trying to address with AdTribe?
We first approached them to help us manage our Facebook marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They started by taking over our ad campaigns, restructuring them to best target specific demographics. The team also helped us to set up new campaigns for different country markets that we wanted to move into. We provided them with content to use, and then they executed and managed the ads from there.
What was the team composition?
We communicated directly with 2–3 members of their team who were in charge of managing the different ad campaigns.
How did you come to work with AdTribe?
We found them on Upwork originally, and they seemed to be a good fit. On top of that, they had reasonable rates, so we decided to move forward with them.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost has been around $8,000–$10,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them around June 2019 and are continuing to partner together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The ROI from the project has been really satisfying to see from all of the different ad campaigns they’re running. Our engagement and impressions have been good across the board, so we are very pleased with what they’re doing.
How did AdTribe perform from a project management standpoint?
They do a great job with project management. We communicated mostly on Slack, and they’re very responsive whenever we request something or ask any questions. Their team is also good about making suggestions and asking for what they need in order to deliver the best work to us, which we really appreciate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve worked with other social media managers before and didn’t have a good experience. It felt like we didn’t know where our money was going, and that has not been the case with AdTribe at all. They are really on top of measuring all of our spending and explaining exactly how that translates into the return.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing that I can think of that they could be doing differently.

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder and owner of coach growth company, a 7-figure online coaching enterprise that sells low-ticket digital products, courses and memberships.
For what projects/services did your company hire AdTribe?
I needed help managing the Facebook ads for my lead generation campaigns, digital product and membership conversion campaigns. I was looking for an agency that would proactively optimize and scale our campaings.
How did you select this vendor?
I first discovered ad tribe on upwork when I was still offering consulting and ads management services to e-Commerce businesses. They have helped me in 6 different projects. Their service was always over the top professional and they always delivered great results. As my coaching business expanded and I started to focus on serving the coaching and online education market it was the logical step to also hire them for my own business.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They manage my whole ad account. We develop and refine the ideas for new offers and campaigns together. It's a complete done for you, you can be involved as much or little as you want (although I recommend giving them full autonomy in how to set up campaigns - they work best if you give them room to thrive in their expertise of managing, optimizing and scaling so that they make the most out of your budget).
What was the team composition?
I mainly work with Natalia when it comes to communication and she communicates with her team internally to make sure my ads are managed at all times and she doesn't overlook any scaling potential. She is very proactive, updates me on a weekly basis in slack and brings any new ideas or things I need to be aware of to my attention.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Last year my business grew by 500%. Ad Tribe helped me to reach 7-figures in this new business venture (low-ticket coaching and digital products for infopreneurs). With their help I grew from 150 to over 5000 paying monthly members. On average we have 2000 new customers across all offers every single month.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It's extremely easy. They have a great onboarding process and reporting. The daily communication happens in slack. They never forget anything. Sometimes I do and then they point me to it. They are extremely professional and efficient in their communication.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I love how much they have grown and developed over the years we've worked together. They always stay on top of new developments and they have expanded their services across different platforms. We started to also run search ads, youtube ads, pinterest ads and will start tiktok soon too. They perform in any field. They always set realistic expectations and they are always very transparent. Plus they are actually quite affordable.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
No, I really can just recommend them from the bottom of my heart.

SMM for Digital Marketing Company
“AdTribe has delivered phenomenal results for our clients."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a digital marketing company for paid social channels. We help direct-to-consumer brands reach their business goals by scaling their paid advertising to help with conversion optimization.
What challenge were you trying to address with AdTribe?
We hired AdTribe to help our clients with media buying.
What was the scope of their involvement?
AdTribe is involved in media buying for all of our new clients. Typically, they start by auditing the client’s account to assess gaps offsite or within the ad platform or website. Depending on where the gaps lie, they’ll make tailored suggestions to fix the issues.
AdTribe focuses primarily on paid social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok advertising. They’ve advised our clients on conversion optimization, user-generated content (UGC), and paid advertising budgets. They’ve also devised creative ways to generate more revenue or reach a target audience.
What is the team composition?
We typically work with the account manager.
How did you come to work with AdTribe?
I had posted a job on Upwork, and the founder of AdTribe reached out to discuss the details. Our clients spend a significant amount on their advertising budgets, so we needed to find a partner who could accommodate that. I was interested in AdTribe because they work with several big clients who dedicate a hefty budget to paid advertising and receive a great return. The numbers spoke for themselves, so I chose to partner with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested about $10,000–$15,000 in the partnership with AdTribe.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with AdTribe since August 2021, and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I measure success by client satisfaction; we want to ensure our clients achieve their goals and see an ROI for paid social channels. AdTribe has done a great job catering to our clients; we’ve received significant positive feedback and zero complaints.
AdTribe has delivered phenomenal results for our clients. They’ve developed some thoughtful, successful campaigns which have pleasantly surprised me. For example, one of our clients wanted to achieve twice the return on their advertising spend, and AdTribe has delivered above four times the return.
How did AdTribe perform from a project management standpoint?
AdTribe has delivered everything on time, and we’ve been super satisfied with the partnership. They’ve been very professional and responsive throughout the project.
We typically use Slack to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve been most impressed by AdTribe’s professionalism with our clients and us. Our clients have been delighted with their results since engaging with AdTribe. They’ve over-delivered on many of their promises, which we’ve appreciated.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have nothing AdTribe could improve on; they consistently deliver great service and results.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I advise being as organized as possible and hosting all your assets in one place, so AdTribe can just come in and take over without reaching out to the client. Have everything prepared ahead of time, hand over the assets, and let AdTribe deliver outstanding results.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the owner of a German sustainable fashion brand. We sell ethically made women's and men's wear mainly to Germany and Europe.
For what projects/services did your company hire AdTribe?
We needed someone to handle our Instagram and Facebook Ad buying.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We did audits of our ad accounts and consultation calls with three different top rated agencies, Ad Tribe was one of them. Dmitry went out of his way to provide value to us and I felt confident he and his team could deliver on their promises. Even though they are based in Ukraine and we have never worked with a Ukranian agency before, the good reviews on Clutch and the case studies of past clients they had re-assured us that they are trustworthy and knowledgeable.
Another big selling point was that they offered us a very competitive monthly rate to work together.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Onboarding was quick and we had our first ads running in no time. We shared a dropbox folder with creatives and some general info about our brand and products. With this material they restructured the ad account and created completely new campaigns and ad sets for different funnel stages with tests built in to find out which combination of copy and creative would work best.
After a few weeks their campaigns started outperforming our old campaigns so we turned the old ones off.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We were assigned one Senior Media Buyer
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our revenue increased directly the first month we started working together. Our average Marketing Efficiency ratio (Total Revenue / Ad spend) for all the time working together was 4.5 and we see the potential of it further improving in the coming months.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have a shared Slack channel where every Monday they post performance reports. Our Media Buyer is available for questions every day and all in all our requests for changes are done quickly.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Even though war started recently in Ukraine recently they remain available in Slack 24/7 and continue to do a good job. Also with the changing advertising landscape currently they are learning and adapting constantly. Every month, they understand our brand and audience better, resulting in better quality work.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
In the beginning the ads they created where not really on brand visually. After some feedback rounds they got the vibe and now all is good.

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CEO and founder of a company which operates several branded websites and sells on Amazon along with brick & mortar retail.
For what projects/services did your company hire AdTribe?
AdTribe has been our PPC management company for several years, primarily focused on the jewelry website we operate. They started out doing our Facebook ads but also now do Google ads.
How did you select this vendor?
We evaluated 4-5 different agencies and freelancers and went through a fairly structured and comprehensive review of capability, team structure, comparable projects, and ability to work long term.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They work on everything from the ground up and are as involved or hands off as you want. They do ad design/creative, strategy, implementation, and reporting. They currently manage our Facebook and Google ads but also have kicked around expanding to Pinterest and other channels as well though that hasn't been our focus.
What was the team composition?
At the start (several years ago) we were working closely with the principal. The team has since expanded to an account manager who handles routine updates, reporting, project management, and coordination. They also have ad specialists which work on our account as well for implementation of ads.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We definitely have not maximized the opportunity but I would say that they strike a good balance between cost-effectiveness and performance. Definitely a good agency for websites starting out who dont have a huge marketing budget and can't spend $3-5k/month on a retainer.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They send weekly performance reports in Slack along with tracking ad performance for each channel. Theyve really improved their reporting recently, and are on top of our account and typically pretty responsive without major communication gaps. Generally speaking they are pretty hands off and it really helps we dont have to put a ton of time into micro-managing the relationship or following up to make sure things get done.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Theyve been great at working with low budgets and making sure we can get positive overall ROI - not just a good ROAS that is ruined when you take into account their fees. I've been pretty happy about the communication, quality of work, cost, and general performance.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
There have been a couple times when budgets have run away and not been shut down quickly enough until I call it out, and occasionally the ad copy is a little non-native sounding & oddly translated. Maybe can be a little more proactive about a periodic strategy call as well, but that is partly my fault since I have not been spending as much time on the site as I could have.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Owner and CEO of a dietary supplement manufacturer.
For what projects/services did your company hire AdTribe?
We needed someone to manage our Facebook ads for us. ROAS was low so we needed to change direction and implement a new strategy.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were referred from another vendor. We chose AdTribe based on their experience and expertise on Facebook adds, including the changing landscape since IOS 14.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
They created a range of ads targeting different parts of our funnel. They were fats to change direction when it became apparent that certain ad sets or creatives weren't working. We eventually found that we were getting best results from blog posts in the top of funnel, so that's where they focused their efforts.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have two contacts at Ad Tribe - the business owner Dmitry, and our media buyer Andrii.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have been able to increase our return on ad spend, while also scaling up our Facebook ad spend. It's particularly impressive that they managed to do this after the IOS 14 changes. We are bringing in lots of new customers at the top of our funnel.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We communicate daily via Slack and monthly via Zoom call. Communication has been excellent.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their responsiveness is excellent, even during weekends. They have also been able to quickly reallocate our ad spend away from non-performing campaigns and towards strategies that work.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No areas for improvement.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Auto Auction Mall provides the general public with the ability to purchase cars from online dealer-only auctions (wholesale) which they would not otherwise have access to. I am the general sales manager.
For what projects/services did your company hire AdTribe?
We hired AdTribe to retarget audiences on Facebook in various regions around the world, including the US and Western Africa.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We looked at various companies that provided this social media retargeting service and spoke to various representatives of such companies. AdTribe had a good record of experience in this field and we felt very comfortable with the knowledge and know-how of the people we spoke with.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project focuses on taking some of our online leads and registrations and retargeting them to convert leads into registrations and registered users into purchasers. Ads would be created and/or promoted through Facebook and targeted to these individuals. Specific ads would be created for different regions of the world, depending on our target. At the end of each week we would then review registrations and purchases to see how each campaign is working.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I believe we had three resources from AdTribe work on our project. There may have been more in the background, but three that I had direct contact with. The first is the president, Dmitry, who strategized with us and gave us very good and practical advice. The other is an account executive named Andrii who has been very "on-top" of our account also giving ongoing strategy and working with us on other aspects of our business where we needed help.
Finally, we worked with Michael (a senior developer) who helped us adjust some of the code on our site and tracking within our analytics software so that we could track the success of the campaign.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since we started working with AdTribe we have seen a steady climb of registrations and purchases from the Facebook medium. It has been successful to date.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I think it was very effective. We would discuss and agree strategy at the start of the month. Once agreed they would implement the strategy. The initial set up took a bit of time to figure out the best approach, but after that it has been very smooth with little time and effort from our side (other than re-strategizing or tweaking some language on the campaigns).
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most impressive attribute of the AdTribe team is their dedication to our account. They always want to improve their retargeting results and are working with us to continue tweaking it.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
At this point, we have been super happy with their work. There is not much we can suggest for improvement. At least no improvement is needed based on the way we use AdTribe.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an e-commerce store that specializes in female and fitness apparel.
What challenge were you trying to address with AdTribe?
I had hired a different company to handle my advertising, but it didn’t work out. So, I needed to find a new company to do my digital marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
AdTribe handles all my social media marketing. They do Facebook and Instagram ads.
What is the team composition?
Dmitry (CEO) is my main point of contact. He oversees his team.
How did you come to work with AdTribe?
I was searching for independent companies to do digital marketing and advertising. After my initial search, I interviewed a couple of different companies. I did a video call with Dmitry and decided to hire his team.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $5,000–$10,000. The price isn’t set, rather it’s based on revenue.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2020 and are still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Prior to working with them, we were receiving roughly $10,000 monthly revenue. In the first month of working together we had $25,000, then $30,000 in the second month, and $50,000 in the third month. Last month, our projection was $60,000 but we actually hit $207,000 in sales. Their ads work so well that my challenge is now to keep up with inventory. There’s a high conversion rate of customers.
How did AdTribe perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re available 24/7, and we communicate via Slack. Dmitry and I have one channel for direct communication, and there’s another channel that includes the entire team. The AdTribe team is cohesive and grasps what I ask of them. I put content on Google Drive, and they keep up with everything. They’re proactive and send reports to me. I don’t have to ask for anything or even tell them which ads to put up; they reach out to me.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re dedicated, hardworking, and very knowledgeable. Their team took the time to get to know our brand so they could target the ads to the right customers who’d convert.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of any areas for improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Provide them with everything they need, and they’ll exceed your expectations. Don’t underestimate them.
The Facebook advertising work delivered by AdTribe has been widely successful, helping to increase the ROI of all campaigns and increase total engagement across the platform. Their team is organized and committed to providing us with comprehensive reports, so we always know what is going on.
