I am the owner and CEO of Lucky Flip Games, and we are a game publishing company located in the northeast United States.

What challenge were you trying to address with AD.JUST Video Production?

We needed to create a video that would be able to capture all of what we are and what we do, as well as engaging the viewer and communicating how we can best serve their needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AD.JUST provided end-to-end video production and marketing services for our project. We started with an introductory discussion to establish our goals for the project and brainstorm ideas for storylines and various elements of the video.

From there, they really took control of the process, from writing and filming the video to editing it and sharing the final product on social media channels, our website, and with our investors.

What is the team composition?

Because they were so involved and enthusiastic about the video and the product, they actually brought on more people than we initially thought we would need. In the end, I’m not sure how many people participated, but I believe it was the majority of their team.

How did you come to work with AD.JUST Video Production?

They came to me through a referral from someone who had worked with them in the past and raved about their work. I did some independent research as well, and then after meeting with them, I was sold.

What is the status of this engagement?

The whole process lasted from January–February 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We got great feedback on the project as soon as we launched it, not only from professionals within the industry and our investors but also in engagement online from people who had never previously interacted with our company. Some of the words used to describe the video included “exceptional,” “wonderful,” “awesome,” and “perfect,” so I was very satisfied.

How did AD.JUST Video Production perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was extremely smooth. I’ve worked with other production companies before and this was the first experience in which there were no hiccups. On the day of the shoot, we had a potential issue, but their forward-thinking attitude allowed us to come up with a solution in a matter of minutes that not only solved the problem but worked out better than our original idea.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are incredibly creative and professional, working in a timely fashion while maintaining attention to detail. Their team has the ability to tell a story seamlessly in a way that is both entertaining and informative.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they were by far the best partner company I’ve ever worked with.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let them do their thing. They are honest and have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to what the end consumer will appreciate, so it pays to take advantage of that expertise.

AD.JUST Video Production produced three videos for us. We started the process by sending their team a shortlist of requirements for a video. They then get back to us with any questions or clarifications. Their team gives us a quote that, if acceptable, moves us towards finalizing project details such as the script, talent, and locations. Generally, I’m on-site for the shoot itself. While their team offers post-production services, we edit the videos in-house after they send us the raw footage. We use the videos across multiple platforms including our website, Amazon and Facebook pages.

What is the team composition?

Generally, I communicate with one person directly. When I’m on-site, I work with their main coordinator, photographer, videographer, director, and camera crew.

I searched Google for a service provider.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $20,000 with AD.JUST Video Production.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around May 2019 and the most recent project finished in January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The main measure of their performance is the quality of the raw footage. The footage was received well by our team, so we get good value for our money. We also measure how much of the script is covered, how smooth the process runs, and timeliness.

How did AD.JUST Video Production perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated primarily by email. I’m sure that there are other options, but I preferred to use email. They organized the crew and identified the location. AD.JUST Video Production did well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AD.JUST Video Production was price competitive. We get good value for our money. They have a fast turnaround, so I don’t have to give them months to complete a project. Their team meets the needs of their customers well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They worked best on-site. It’s hard to communicate a project’s vision over the phone or by email. The first time that we collaborated I wasn’t on-site during the shoot and didn’t get exactly what I wanted. For the next collaborations, I was on-site and that helped to communicate my requirements.

Make sure that the requirements are clear. Stills and reference materials are helpful to communicate the project’s vision.

We showed their team reference videos from our competitors to present something similar to what we were looking for. We explained the various tweaks and overall direction we were going for. The videos are 30-seconds long, showing the products being used in home environments to frame it all as part of a healthy, upscale lifestyle. Their team was in charge of the entire production process from start to finish, including editing and post-production.

We had one main point of contact for most of the process. Yana (Co-Owner, AD.JUST Video Production) handled the project one-on-one with us. 

How did you come to work with AD.JUST Video Production?

I believe we were just searching for companies online. We’re located in Orlando and they have offices here, so that may have led to us coming across them. I spoke to Yana on the phone, making sure they understood our goals and that their price was reasonable. We considered four companies, but AD.JUST Video Production seemed to get our idea the most.

We spent around $8,700. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from December 2019–January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We needed the video to meet our intangible goals, which are hard to measure, but they definitely seemed to do a great job. Everyone on our internal team was a fan of the work they did and the videos were well received. 

How did AD.JUST Video Production perform from a project management standpoint?

I didn’t want to be very hands-on with this project since we have so much on our plate, and they were able to manage the work by themselves. They were on top of everything in terms of responding to any questions during the editing process and meeting our deadlines. 

Near the end, we had a few changes for the semi-final edit, and they got everything back to us really quickly. When necessary, their team asked for our input on the creative side, like location and casting options. I was pleasantly surprised at how swiftly everything moved along. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their level of responsiveness stands out. Their team actually listened to our feedback and understood that we knew our industry well. Other companies in the past have lacked in that area. Some companies have an attitude that made us feel like just a client. AD.JUST Video Production was eager to learn from us and see where they could help, which was pretty refreshing. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We did miss out on the initial actress we wanted to cast because everything was moving so quickly. This stalled some of the work but that’s just the normal flow of fast-moving projects and we were honestly very pleased with everything they delivered. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have some specifics in mind and have some tangible goals. If you know how quickly you want to move and what you want to see, they’ll certainly be able to accommodate. Communication is key with them since they’re very open. Make sure they have everything.
