First and foremost, I want to share something that, for me, is essential. This is something less about the professional aspect, although it is reflected in it: it has been a joy to spend many hours of my life working alongside professionals from Zitec, such as Alex or Lucian. Although it was intense work, the interaction with them came from a space of flow, which I didn't feel as work but rather as something purposeful and part of my calling.
Their project management skills, strategic planning and listening ability, flexibility, and gentleness fully allowed them to understand my vision in a way that not only got to its implementation but also contributed to the further development of this vision. We needed to identify and deploy the best cloud solution for a service that maintains connection with our custom IoT devices and special needs (low power, low bandwidth, and being able to contact device from the server). Zitec helped evaluate few options and in the end we chose AKS Then we had multiple rounds of testing in order to find the right setup. Some issues were deep hidden differences between VM's and AKS containers but Zitec helped uncover all of them. In the end they deployed the service in a professional way with configurable and well structured automation scripts and also great monitoring tools!

We started the collaboration by discussing the issues our teams encountered in their day-to-day activity. The purpose was to see how software development and business process automation expertise could digitally transform the business, resulting in lower operating costs and more streamlined and automated processes.
Together, we decided that the initial focus should be on the lead generation and management process, as we were seeing a substantial influx of new leads, and using a generic CRM was no longer a viable option to handle them.

The software that the team continues to develop provides us with more time, efficiency, and agility in the end. One of the projects developed by Zitec is a PHP custom-built platform (known as Orion) which automated the lead intake activities, contract generation, and signing (via digital signatures).
Another functionality is the reporting and decision-making module, supporting managers to act swiftly on real-time information.

Lead generation and management data was centralized in a single software application (down from 4 tools)

The digital signing of contracts increased from less than 10% of all contracts to over 50%. Each contract signed digitally has a turn-around time of several hours vs. several days for paper-based contracts
By building Orion on top of Microsoft Azure, we were able to comply with new, strict security policies and have a highly available and scalable foundation.
