I’m the owner of a SaaS platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zenveus?

I needed help in backend AWS development since that wasn’t my strongest point. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, Zenveus helped me with infrastructure design, and they worked with AWS, REST API, and AWS Lambda. They then connected Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with an external service to allow my database storage. 

In addition, Zenveus helped me with some MongoDB and Amazon SNS development. They created an API-based backend infrastructure that can communicate to the frontend. 

Before connecting with Zenveus, I created a full diagram with a project flow. This also included full documentation on four user stories for various scenarios. I provided all that to Zenveus, and that served as their model.

Zenveus’ development has been mostly finished, and currently, they’re only dealing with any remaining bugs and issues.

I worked with their two CEOs, a lead engineer, a secondary engineer, and five other teammates.

We’ve spent $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve started working together in July 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Zenveus has successfully delivered features that have been integrated into our platform. Thanks to them, our platform is working.

How did Zenveus perform from a project management standpoint?

We don’t have a tight schedule, and I’ve been flexible with our deadlines. However, it’s important for me that they’re communicating to ensure that we’re making progress. So far, we’ve completed the project’s first phase.

Zenveus’ team has strong communication skills, and they’re adaptive to my preferred methodologies. They touch base with me every week to give an update. In addition, their services are very affordable. We’ve used Trello for tickets, and we use Slack to communicate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Zenveus knows what the process should be in developing our features. I’m confident with their deliverables — I can see their code, and their work requires minor changes. They’ve also asked questions whenever we encounter difficulties, and they’ve come up with novel solutions that I haven’t thought of.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come well prepared and ensure you’ve got thorough documentation since Zenveus will follow that. Keep in mind that they don’t fully understand what’s being built, so don’t expect them to fill in the gaps. Be well-organized and study the flow — once you provide the instructions, they will adhere to that.

We needed to build a specific AI-powered tool.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zenveus handled everything from end to end, including choosing the technology stack and the AI APIs. The team delivered a final working version from scratch. Zenveus also provided continuous support through Slack and impromptu meetings.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Zenveus.

How did you come to work with Zenveus?

We found them through an online search. We chose them because they were a great culture fit, their company values aligned with ours, and they didn’t force additional features. Zenveus understood our requirements from end to end.

We worked together from January–February 2026.

Zenveus provided daily updates and continuous iterations of the product.

How did Zenveus perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered above and beyond and ahead of schedule. We mainly communicated through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Zenveus’s open channel for communication and approach to fixing any issues very quickly was impressive. Their open communication really helped us stay on track and shape the product.

No, everything was great.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zenveus has helped us with our software solutions. The team has created an admin dashboard and integrated banking solutions. Zenveus has also provided backend, DevOps, and frontend work. The team has configured all architecture, backend, and frontend services for the admin panel. Zenveus has also provided documentation for each module.

We’ve worked with two teammates from Zenveus.

How did you come to work with Zenveus?

I found Zenveus while browsing different platforms. After our initial call, I had a clear understanding of the scope the team could provide for me. Zenveus made a good estimation and provided information about the solution that matched my expectations without overworking.

We started working with Zenveus in December 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Zenveus provides weekly reports and functional solutions that I can see. For example, the team has integrated Stripe with well-described documentation for the integration and user flow. The main indicator of success is that the delivered features function as expected without issues.

How did Zenveus perform from a project management standpoint?

Zenveus's project management is good. The team works fast and smoothly, balancing deadlines and work scope. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed with Zenveus's speed and autonomy. The team always comes up with solutions instead of asking what they need to do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We could have provided some clarifications from our side that could have helped Zenveus do the scope faster.
