What challenge were you trying to address with YoBusiness.eu?

I was escalating positions within my company, so I needed assistance and coaching direction for my new role. I wanted something that could take me to the next level.

What was the scope of their involvement?

YoBusiness.eu started with the basics of understanding what I needed and where I wanted to go. They did one-on-one coaching for me where we discussed the main areas of my work, aspects where I could improve, and ways of handling specific situations, among other actions to move forward step by step.

We started working together during the lockdown, so it was virtual coaching. The coach provided me with tools that could assist me in focusing on some tasks and gave me homework to complete the program.

I only worked with one leading coach throughout the partnership.

How did you come to work with YoBusiness.eu?

They were referred to me by a friend. I decided to reach out and take a class with them, and after that, I realized that they were everything I was looking for and more. They quickly responded to my requests and were flexible with my schedules — they adapted to my situation and seemed professional.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on this together from March–August 2021.

We have our KPIs and internal inspections services, and I’ve noticed that the progress of satisfaction and the quality of services has been good through the performance of our corporation.

They were excellent in that aspect; I’m very strict with deadlines, and they were on point. In terms of tools and communication, we used online calls and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their quick reaction, adaptability, and main coaching work quality were outstanding. I felt everything was tailored to my needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — everything was perfect.

Any advice for potential customers?

You’ll need to work; the coach won’t solve your problems. They’ll support you and show the direction, but you’ll have to do your part.

We wanted to engage this generation in strategic direction development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

YoBusiness.eu did marketing workshops on two consecutive days for our university students. There were 53 people in attendance. They worked with the group at once. YoBusiness.eu was trying to generate ideas on what and how to self-think to their representatives of this new generation. They’ve been working with the students and identified the best solutions offered by them. The workshops are marketing-focused.

What is the team composition?

I was in contact with one person.

How did you come to work with YoBusiness.eu?

I work for the international office and worked with a program at the time that gave opportunities to representatives from other countries and universities to provide different workshops for our students.

This really took place in the framework of the actual agreements between two universities. I was just the administrative contact and helped organize. There was also a person from the teaching staff who was in touch regarding all the content of the workshop.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in May 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The students were very happy and satisfied. At the end of the session, YoBusiness.eu collected feedback and it was 100% positive. The audience really enjoyed the way they presented the material to them. My personal feedback is also super positive. YoBusiness.eu is very well organized and was always on time. She completed the whole arrangement we planned in advance and delivered all the materials we talked about. Our professors were also very happy.

We had good communication. YoBusiness.eu managed everything well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to work with such a big group of people all at once was impressive.

No, nothing comes to my mind right now.

I definitely recommend working with them. If you want to make your team happy, you should use their services.

What challenge were you trying to address with YoBusiness.eu?

As part of our conferences, we offer workshops that range from upscaling practical skills to personal development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided workshops for our events. We usually hold our workshops live, but had to switch to a virtual format because of the pandemic. Our teams discussed the goals of the workshop and practical logistics. We worked closely to plan and find a middle ground that’d work with our audience.

YoBusiness.eu set up the virtual room, and we promoted the workshop to our audiences, handling the registration and signups. They provided a two-hour workshop on how our attendees can understand their team and create better teams.

I worked directly with Vilija (Business Partner).

How did you come to work with YoBusiness.eu?

They got in touch with us because our event is quite prominent here in Europe. Vilija explained what her goals were and who her past clients were. They were open to trying out new workshops. They submitted a proposal, and we felt confident that it’d be successful.

How much have you invested with them?

We didn’t spend any money on our end. Our workshop trainers join our events for free.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement was from June–October 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our event was sold out. This was a trial for both parties. Handling a virtual workshop was very different, and they were open to suggestions and really attentive. They made sure to know what our audience would expect.

YoBusiness.eu is very easy to communicate and work with. Our attendees provided good feedback about the workshop. I’d be happy to work with YoBusiness.eu again on a future event if there’s a need for that.

How did YoBusiness.eu perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was really good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Everything was seamless. They provided a workshop, and our audience enjoyed it. It’s simple but shows good signs of how we worked together.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could work on their branding a bit more. It doesn’t really describe what they are. They could add clarity on what they offer. At first glance, we were skeptical of engagement. However, after we spoke to Vilija, we understood the value of their services. It took a bit of explaining, but afterward, our interest was piqued.

They’re very open to feedback and making sure they get everything right. You should be open about expectations and what you’re looking for.

We were looking for someone to do some business coaching classes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

YoBusiness.eu conducted five classes, two in English and three in Hebrew. The sizes were a range, there were two large, two medium, and one small class. They did a lot of activities to teach leadership, coordination, teamwork, believing in oneself, etc. They also taught us about the psychology behind different behaviors and business practices.

I knew Vilija and had worked with her in Lithuania. I was impressed with her unique approach and wanted to bring that to my university.

Vilija brought a unique approach; unlike anything I’ve seen in Israel. The classes had a good turnout.

Vilija was structured, punctual, and on point. We communicated mainly via email.

YoBusiness.eu did an excellent job and opened people’s eyes to some psychology behind a business. It was a pleasure to work with her.

It’d be great to take a class and then get some hands-on experience to see it in action.

I’m a management and business economics professor at the University of Palermo.

What challenge were you trying to address with YoBusiness.eu?

Since I teach management and marketing, very often I try to find a testimonial of someone who is working in the consultancy for the students to glean what happens outside the walls of academia.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

She involved the students in a case study during my course for professional consulting experience. She involved them in the evaluation and some different commercials. She simulated a sort of brainstorming on these two commercials. The students were acting as professionals. From there, we had some feedback from her.

What is the team composition?

I worked only with Vilija (Business Partner).

How did you come to work with YoBusiness.eu?

She contacted me with the opportunity for my students to receive professional consulting. I found it interesting what she did and agreed to let her come.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in December 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It became a part of the program in the sense that I asked them something about the case study. It was an occasion for the students to see what professional people in marketing and communications are doing at the moment. It was also something I asked them about during their oral examination, so it had an impact.

How did YoBusiness.eu perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication was through email. She shared the program of what she’d like to do and also allowed me to prepare my students for this event. Then we discussed the reactions of the students. We communicated via phone and discussed levels of satisfaction. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

She delivered what was expected and it was really interesting as an exercise. She really stimulated the students and the course was in Italian. She was really good at involving people because not every student had a good level of English.

I was satisfied because I had the opportunity to present a new way of looking at the business community to my students. It gave them a glimpse into how they could work in a business environment.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing she could have done better — the students were really satisfied. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Spend time preparing the people to interact when she comes. Since she interacts a lot and really tries to establish a relationship with the people, it would be proper to do a couple of hours of preparation for the audience in order to facilitate the work that she has to do with the people. If you do that before she arrives, it could be a more efficient process. She can get into the issue sooner and you can get the result.

We wanted to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the laboratory.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They organized two workshops to identify the core values of the laboratory as well as key strengths, potential weaknesses, opportunities, competition, etc.

What is the team composition?

There were about 20 people.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together twice. The first workshop was in June 2018 and the second in June 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results from the workshops have been positive, but there’s no direct metric to give. I have a better strategy in my mind, and my colleagues participated and understood the core values of the laboratory.
 

The lab is growing each year with more research projects and funding, but I can’t claim this as a direct result of the workshops. Everything was implemented smoothly and met my expectations.

We defined the setup and objectives of the workshops. It was a smooth process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They delivered everything they promised and interacted well with the students.
