X agency are masters at delivering results. When I first met with them they were able to analyze the gaps in our marketing strategy and to close those gaps in a way that enabled us to see a return on our investment.

We have monthly meetings and we mostly communicate through email / slack. They are great about managing my expectations and then meeting or superceding them. They don't ALWAYS do but they have done it enough times to make me a client for life.

I would like them to take more risks on my adspend but they are conservative until the ads prove themselves. This can cause the results to be a little slower but on the flip side you are not wasting money needlessly.

X Agency's project management was great — we felt that we were more like partners working on the day-to-day operation of the marketing side of our business. Regarding communication, we had weekly Zoom calls, constant emails, and Slack messages to check on the project. They were a part of our team, and it was great. I would've loved it if they had offered more services, but they were focused on their area of expertise and were good at it. X Agency didn't specialize in content creation, content management, influencer marketing, and SEO. They helped with it, but we didn’t pay them to do that, so if they could be a one-stop shop, it'd be great.

Be very clear and specific in communicating your expectations so that they can tailor their actions to what you want. Moreover, be detailed on how you want them to address your challenges, how promotionally you wish to be, and how much you want to spend in the channels. The more they know, the better they will do for you.
