What specific goals or objectives did you hire Worx to accomplish for your business?

We needed help with integration through a unified API (Unipile).

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Worx integrated Unipile into our codebase to allow users to integrate their Google, Outlook, or LinkedIn accounts into the Daialog platform. The team also provided testing and ongoing support until the project was completed and merged with our main codebase.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Worx's work resulted in deeper integrations for our customers, which is helping us with our go-to-market (GTM) strategy. These integrations are meaningful for us because they're an easier sell during demos to future customers.

How did Worx perform from a project management standpoint?

We primarily communicated through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Worx cared about our project and didn't charge us for every little thing. They acted as a true partner.

We initially hired Worx to build an integration between our platform and a payment platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Worx has done a varied set of work for me, including both front- and backend (database, integration, AWS server-side code) design and development. They've also done documentation of maintenance processes, so I can self-serve on key elements of the platform after development was completed on those elements. We collaborate on most projects, but they've had primary responsibility for payment integration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Worx has done a strong job, so we've used them for more projects. The payment integration has been completed successfully, along with a large number of other projects. For example, I've asked them to develop proofs of concept for various elements of the system. They've consistently been thoughtful and strategic about how features are implemented and provided good advice on the right way to get things done. I have a lot of technical and architectural experience, and I've been impressed that not only do they get things done, but they do them in ways that are smart and scalable.

My company is a bootstrapped startup, so we aren't super formal with metrics. We get aligned on what the tasks and deliverables are, and Worx has been fast, reliable, and professional in what they deliver. Projects tend to get done quickly, and communication is consistently good. Since their strategies have been smart and scalable, we've been able to keep development costs affordable and maintain high levels of productivity.

How did Worx perform from a project management standpoint?

They consistently deliver on time, and communication is very good. I also appreciate that they adapt to the communication styles that I request. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Worx's strategic architectural thinking is impressive. Many folks will get work done for you, but getting it done isn't valuable if the work is going to be difficult to maintain.
