First a high level concept was delivered by Works. in order to have an informed strategic decision about the project. Then a UX wireframe and operating model was created by Works., where we involved key stakeholders from the company. After the wireframe was accepted, Works. delivered the UI design. In the next phase they were also participating in the development partner selection process

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The webshop design was accepted and went live in 2021. Since then we are still with this design, we are happy with the commercial results.

1. At first Works. made a qualitative research with in-depth interviews to define the most important concerns in digital identification topic.
2. Based on the results we held a few workshops to elaborate main issues.
3. Finally we created an online questionnaire. The purpose of quantitative research was to identify customer roles related to telco services. The research helped us to define better customer journeys where identification is a key step.

First the UX concept was created. We had several workshops with them. That was Covid time, workshops were partially personal and partially online. When the concept was accepted by TV2, Works. Hungary has created the detailed UX/UI design and the business requirement specification. Works. designed for both web and for mobile app. Before going live with the platform, a UAT and a small crowd test was performed.

TV2 management was very happy with the results. Works. did a great job, we were really satisfied with what we got from them. We have a good working relation with Works. Hungary ever since.

We have a smooth cooperation with Works. Hungary.

They are very flexible and have a straightforward communication manner.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Can't really mention anything. Since our first project we are still cooperating for any design realted projects even when we made another tender. Due to the numerous tasks a few times we asked to check even more additional examples on the market for example for a landing page because we had the feeling that they missed it, but this happened very rarely. In general, we are very happy with Works. Hungary Kft.

We were the main contractors, Works. Hungary was our subcontractor. Our company has delivered the development of the online investment platform. The client, Hold Investment Fund aimed to unify and upgrade the existing design library and organize them into a design system. Figma was the preferred solution, and our partner, Works. Hungary has a strong experience in delivering UX/UI designs and design systems in Figma.

First they collected all the existing design elements from Figma, some elements from Adobe design software and other elements from the live system. Works. then created the structure of the design system, and then moved all design elements into this new structure. They also provided useful insights for our frontend developers during the project.

We started with workshops to define the target persona of our website – potential donors and activists. Then we identified the main functionalities of the site. Also we identified best practices and “competitors”.

After the concept was finalized, Works. created the final UI. Works. also helped us in finding the development partner. We, as a team, learned a lot from these workshops — they helped us think about our main targets and what we should and can achieve in the next few years.

We already had a strategic level concept, but this had to be elaborated in details, and Works. was already taking part of this task. The prototype was created by Works., we involved key stakeholders from our company. There were many workshops with experts and stakeholders, which was a challenge as the project was active during Covid period. After the wireframe, Works. designed the final user interface according to our renewed brand guide. Works. was also helping us with selecting the development partner.

I’m the CEO of Assister, a startup company that provides monthly software for retail or franchise networks.

What challenge were you trying to address with Works. Hungary Kft?

We needed help with landing page design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed the layout of our front homepage. The main purpose of the front page is so we can show something to new customers when we have a meeting with them. It’s not so important for the wide public right now.

What is the team composition?

There were a project manager and two designers.

How did you come to work with Works. Hungary Kft?

They are a member of the parent company group in Hungary. We are brothers and sisters. We all worked together in the parent company several years ago, and we made spinoff companies. 

We’re separate companies now. So, we didn’t consider any other company. It was straightforward to call them for the job.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November of 2018, and the project ended in December of 2018. It took four weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We are happy with the homepage. We have a few customers that say it’s very good and very informative.

How did Works. Hungary Kft  perform from a project management standpoint?

It was a friendly collaboration. We had a lot of conversations about everything. It wasn’t a standard project like we do with our customers — it was more informal.

It was a very good, informal project.

You should do an informal project with them.
