I’m the consulting manager for a consulting and software development company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address with WJY Studios, Inc.?

We subcontracted the UX/UI design for our client’s website. The designer that was part of our in-house team had just left, so we needed to find someone that could support our work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We were building the backend system for our client. The previous vendor they hired did a poor job so we came on to fix it, and WJY Studios, Inc. helped with the visuals.

How did you come to work with WJY Studios, Inc.?

They were recommended to us by a friend. 

How much have you invested in them?

We spent about $15,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February 2020–May 2020. We completed the design needs in May, and the project went live in June.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The client was really happy with the work. They want to continue working with us on the platform as a result of WJY Studios, Inc.’s work. We’ll be using them for additional projects in the future, including internal work. 

How did WJY Studios, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They met the deadlines that we set, and often they completed their work before the date we set. The project took longer than expected, but that was a result of a change in scope. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The preparation and thought that they put into their work are impressive. They come prepared to every single meeting and are great at working with the client to meet their needs. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really, I think everything went well. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

They’re great at asking questions to find out what’s needed, so just make sure you know what you want so you can answer their questions properly.
