I'm the CEO of Bianor, a software service company with 19+ years of experience in software development, providing end to end software service in the Video segment. We have successfully completed over 200 projects, and most importantly, we employ technology with passion, integrity and excellence for the benefit of people!

For what projects/services did your company hire ITIDO, and what were your goals?

At that time we needed to onboard engineers with specific experience in Java/React, AWS, Kubernetes and we knew that ITIDO can support us in this challenging project with their specific experience and open minded approach. We needed to deliver an MVP within a period of 6 months on a limited budget.

We selected ITIDO due to various important reasons. Open communication, great expertise, fantastic senior management, specific expertise in the field we were looking for. In addition we wanted to work exactly with the size of company they are, not with a huge organisation where you enter a matrix and you don't get personal attitude.

They were responsible to provide the frontend and backend services for the application. In the frontend they used React.js and in the backend, they used Java’s Spring framework. The goal was to deliver an MVP of a an intelligent SAAS workflow management that brings organizations to a different level.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 2 people involved in the front-end, another 2 in the backend and a QA engineer who was taking car of the quality of all delivarables. In addition, on the background we had the support and help of their architects and senior IT management. Along the way we had very good communication at all levels.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch the MVP within the planned time and budget. Most of all, we had a happy customer who was treated in a very personal manner. All deliverables were tested and delivered with no major defects.

They were not involved in the PM activities but rather they help with all estimations, business analyses and participated on the daily status meetings. In general the communication flow was seamless!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We loved the personal attitude we got from the senior management and the result oriented approach they have. Whenever we had any kind of issues, they were seeking for solutions that would help in the specific case. They never gave up on any problems that we encountered.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only thing I could suggest is to work a bit more with their engineers so they are able to present themselves in a better manner. Their team is great in terms of technical skills, but at an early stage, during the selection process, some of the devs. were not very persuasive during the talks. At the end of the day, despite this little concern, everything went more than well!

At the time of the project, I was employed by the Federal Office for the Environment and acted in my capacity as president of an association that dealt with food waste reduction.

We commissioned ITIDO to develop a mobile application that served the aims of the association to reduce food waste. In addition, ITIDO was to advise us on the implementation of the application.

After the requirement engineering was completed and the functionalities were defined, the mobile application was developed and presented to us within a very short time. Small corrections were implemented quickly and flawlessly. The application was delivered to us about 1 month before the agreed deadline.

I can't estimate it because some staff members worked of their own free will and with great enthusiasm.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was completed on time, even a little faster than agreed, and the documentation was handed over to us in full. The app worked according to expectations and even exceeded our expectations.

The Managing Director Christian is a very pleasant person to communicate with, who is always there for discussions or concerns. The CTO Christo was an excellent complement to him - highly competent and fast working. Thanks a lot to both of them!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The company ITIDO combines a lot of competence with enthusiasm and customer friendliness. The conversations and discussions were always a pleasure. Two years later, I still enjoy communicating with the two founders.

I am a co-founder of TEACS Ltd. We develop software solutions in favor of the dental industry. Our pilot project is AMOSYS which digitalizes the processes and relationships between dentists and dental technicians.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bulbera, and what were your goals?

For building AMOSYS proof of concept web based platform we needed Bulbera services as we don't have in-house developers. We rely on their expertise in design, development and testing. We wanted to avoid spending time to build up an IT team and rather focus on the creation of the product itself.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We contacted several vendors with similar profiles and 3 of them participated in the vendor's selection process. Eventually, Bulbera was chosen with the best cost and time estimation. Also, previous experience in the health care industry was an advantage for them.

We had few meetings to discuss the scope and the details. After that, the team delivered visual mock-ups and bi-weekly work plan of the project execution.

After each bi-weekly iteration, we had a meeting to discuss the deliverables in the past iteration and details about the upcoming iteration. In the process, they developed our AMOSYS web-based platform with the needed front-end, back-end, and database components.

A project manager and a senior developer were our main points of contact throughout the process. There were also a designer, a developer, and a tester working on the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the system we started acquiring clients. The marketing process is tough due to the industry. There is already positive feedback on the design, performance, and functionality. And several change requests which we addressed with Bulbera.

We had bi-weekly meetings with their project manager and lead developer. We used mainly e-mail for exchanging information beyond the meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very professional in the technologies needed for the implementation of the project. They had a precise delivery schedule and process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some bugs that our team detected and we were a bit surprised their QA missed. Anyway no big issue or outside of the standards was observed from our side.

I am the CEO of an online advertising agency.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Bianor, and what were your goals?

As our business was growing, we've started to face new challenges. Mainly, all the 3rd party software solutions we have used showed an alarming rate of traffic loss.

Example: Publisher A delivered 1000 clicks to our platform, but the local reports only showed 920 clicks were received. This had a direct impact on our profits and some of our relationships with important clients.

The second issue we've faced was limited reporting and traffic handling (customizing campaigns). Handling millions of ads is a very sensitive task and the work to distribute it efficiently involves a lot of parameters such as geo-targeting, bids, volume limitations, quality/feedback fluctuations etc.

SOLUTION

How did you select Bianor and what were the deciding factors?

We started searching the web for reputable technology and software companies in the European Union (EU). We reached out to Bianor and their exceptional customer service and helpful staff put us at ease, and we knew immediately they were an organization who could help our business reach its potential.

Shortly after our initial meeting, we were introduced to some of the staff who asked questions and offered suggestions. Their knowledge and thorough approach made the decision to work with Bianor an easy one, and we agreed to a contract that same day.

The Bianor staff helped us develop a custom system that enabled us to gain full control of over our operation. We started with meticulous tests of traffic delivery, latency and click tracking.

The results were surpassed our expectations. The previous traffic loss rate of 8-9% has now been reduced to less than 1%. Once we had the confidence the traffic loss issue was solved, we decided to move on with building software that would be able to handle the current volume of traffic.

The team went as far as simulating stress tests and monitored server resources carefully. They provided a very detailed report that showed how an increase in traffic volume would never overwhelm the system. After having detailed discussions about traffic management, the team has created specialized tools that enabled us to design complex campaigns for our clients.

We have a diverse portfolio of clients who have specific requirements and expectations. The software Bianor developed for us will help us meet their needs. Most of our tasks are now automated. All our energy is now focused on the general performance of our platform as well as optimization.

This will be pivotal to increasing our profits. We are now able to monitor the flow of traffic with powerful new software they have integrated into the system (Koolreport). This tool provides us with endless options and parameters and creates analytic reports.

We've actively worked and been in contact with four team members at Bianor. A software architect, a PHP software developer, a system administrator and the project manager.

None whatsoever. Very positive experience.

I’m the founder and CEO of Agriniser, which is a digital marketplace for grains buyers and sellers.

What challenge were you trying to address with ITIDO?

ITIDO has been developing a number of features and functionalities on our marketplace. Our aim is to better engage our users and offer them more options.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Working with us, ITIDO is adding new features to improve the speed of our website. We’re currently working on a complex geolocation feature, using the Google Maps API — because of the nature of the marketplace, negotiations are anonymous, and we show only the bits and pieces of information that are required to make trading decisions.

They create wireframes and handle the design — I’m not a technical person, so I just specify what kinds of functionalities I need and then ITIDO does all the work required.  

They’ve mainly worked on the user flow, architecture, and specific functionalities, like setting counteroffers and other parts of the negotiation. The main programming language being used is PHP.

What is the team composition?

I’m working with Christo (Co-Founder & COO), Georgi (Delivery Manager), Lyubima (Business Development Manager), and 3–4 other people from ITIDO. 

How did you come to work with ITIDO?

They were recommended to me by another company.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with ITIDO in May 2020 and our engagement is ongoing — this is a long-term project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

ITIDO is the best company I’ve worked with in terms of IT solutions. We’ve improved several metrics, including user engagement. We’ve added a number of key functionalities. I’m very happy with ITIDO’s services and performance.

How did ITIDO perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re using Jira and other tools to monitor processes, and we have phone calls. We have weekly scheduled meetings, and we talk whenever needed outside of those, as well. I’m in close contact with every person responsible for the project.

I like their way of working as a partner with other companies. ITIDO follows strict deadlines, and they do very well in every aspect of their work.

There’s nothing I could think of for them to improve, at the moment.

The platform is up and running. ITIDO did a great job! Now our clients could use the platform for their needs. It has a great web version and a great mobile version. You can use it via your computer and via your smart phone.

We are partnering with them already for more than two years and we have a great synchronization between both teams. UX/UI designers and developers are working as one team

They are young, fresh, and motivated to do the right job! They are careful and pay attention to every single detail

A major client of ours provides backend services for telecom companies around the world. We're providing testing services for their many solutions and interfaces. When they requested additional development work, we relied on ITIDO for support.

ITIDO has provided custom software development for us. They’ve used Java and Python to create a solution that connects a network element to the telecommunication company’s ecosystem. ITIDO was required to familiarize themselves with complex infrastructure to pull the project off.

Their team fluctuates around 10 teammates and primarily consists of developers and project leads. Their team has integrated into ours, so we handle most of the project management.

How did you come to work with ITIDO?

We’re part of an industry-specific organization. We reached out to other members to see if they knew of a provider with experience in the telecommunications sector. ITIDO came recommended as one of the best vendors.

We’ve spent around $1 million so far. We’ve also spent tens of thousands of manhours on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with ITIDO around August 2017, and it’s an ongoing partnership. We’re considering doubling their work in the future.

They’ve become a valuable partner that provides not only development work, but sales consulting. We can leverage their distinct competency in various technologies. They’re also able to consult with us to deliver the optimal solution for our client.

How did ITIDO perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve performed fantastically. We’ve worked on multiple projects for different clients with them. In many cases, ITIDO had to start from scratch in the absence of best practices. This hasn’t been a trivial task, as they’ve needed to experiment with different POCs to find the best fit. Despite these circumstances, they’ve done very well.

ITIDO is providing us access to their time- and task-tracking systems. Their communication is very smooth.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They don’t just take on tasks; they’ve even participated in the presales processes with our third-party clients. I’d recommend them to anyone for their impressive versatility and wide-ranging skillsets.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always room for improvement, but I can’t identify anything at this moment. I’ve been very satisfied.

We worked with them in the early days of our company when we were just getting off the ground. They were brought on to build a custom platform where we could host our online courses.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They started out building the backend architecture of a custom web platform. It included some features for visualizing content, as well as an admin section. However, a few months into development, I realized there were more affordable readymade options available. We stopped their work and decided to move forward with one of those platforms instead.

I worked with the CEO and a developer. 

How did you come to work with ITIDO?

I met their CTO in a BART station in San Francisco by chance. I’m originally from Bulgaria, and I heard him speak Bulgarian, so I approached him and introduced myself. We established a good rapport, so I decided to bring them on for this project.

We invested less than $10,000.

We started working together at the end of 2018. We ended the project in January 2019.

The decision not to move forward with the custom development project they were working on was based on business logic, not their performance. I was pleased with their work and felt positive about the experience. The developer was excited by the work and was also dedicated to delivering.

We met over Google Hangouts once a week, but we primarily communicated over email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service is the most impressive. They take pride in their work and go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy. They’re also very adaptable and professional.

Nothing comes to mind. I had no major frustrations with their work.

Make sure you have a clear vision upfront. As long as you’re proactive about communication, the easier the engagement will be.

We built our website with another company and needed someone to maintain our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired them to maintain our WordPress website. They also helped implement additional features and functionalities we wanted on the site. They created two additional landing pages for our website. They did a few fixes for our inquiry form for grants, and also added additional security wires to our website. 

They mostly used PHP and JavaScript. The content on our website is mostly stories from our grantees on how our funds help them achieve their goals. Our goal on our website is to give people a chance to send us inquiries for a grant.

What is the team composition?

We work with two people usually, but sometimes one other person when we need additional help.

How did you come to work with ITIDO?

They were recommended to us as by the company we worked with before. I interviewed a couple of other companies as well, but those weren’t a good fit. 

I was impressed with them; they’re young and motivated. I also asked to see their past projects and their experience with WordPress. I was satisfied with their experience.

We started working together in December 2019, and the work is ongoing.

The most impressive thing about them is their responsiveness. If I need something after hours, they still respond quickly. They’re a good company to work with and have reasonable prices.

No, I don’t have any complaints about them. They do high-quality work. They could be a little quicker sometimes, but overall, I’m satisfied.

Meet with them. Ask all the questions you have for them. Ask them what they think about your projects and how they can help support you to achieve your goals.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’m not at liberty to disclose specifics of the project. What I can say is that they separated the project into a few stages, and gave advice for the best course of action for and suggested changes where necessary. They currently maintain the system, as well as provide updates and changes.

Christian (CEO & Co-Founder) was my main point of contact. There was a salesperson, and 4-5 developers on the team.

We have a general selection process. There were 5-7 companies we considered. We chose ITIDO because they were open-minded, friendly, and gave the most suitable proposal.

Before this program, the staff had to manually do a lot of paperwork. We can track and provide a higher level of healthcare with the new system. It makes things much easier. I don’t know how we survived before ITIDO created this system.

It’s very good. They’re organized, friendly, and open-minded. The communication is also good with them.

I really like that we were able to describe our needs, and they came back with two proposed solutions. They led us through the best option and met all of our needs. They’re helpful, dedicated, and experienced.

Be open-minded and honest with them upfront, giving all the information. Trust that they want to help you achieve the best possible outcome.
