Identifying & assisting in the recruitment of c-suite executives - chief marketing officer, chief technology officer & the first product manager. 

Scope of work included discussing, iterating & aligning with the team (client) on each step of the journey  - identifying the right candidate group (basis multiple factors), assessing technical suitability of the potential recruit & assessing personality fit of the potential recruit.

Chief Technology officer has sucessfully integrated into senior leadership team and exceeded expectations displaying leadership & technical prowess building world class products with a small team of high performing developers & designers. 

Chief Marketing officer has sucessfully integrated into senior leadership team and has built a beauty brand by launching a range of cosmetic products. The brand has sold more than 10000 units in general trade (retailers) with >80% successful offtake to end consumers in its first 25 days of market presence, operating with no marketing budget and limited channel access.

Product manager has been driving product development sucessfully with creative solutioning methods. 

Wisemonk was instrumental in identifying & assisting in the aforementioned 3 successful executive & senior recruits.

Wisemonk helped us setup a 40-member product team in India. They managed the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates. As our EOR partner, they took care of compliance with Indian laws, payroll management, and other operational support. Their team ensured the process was smooth and effecient, allowing us to focus on our core business.

Wisemonk successfully helped us build a 40-member product team in India within the agreed timelines. They ensured high-quality hires for all roles, meeting our skill and experience requirements. The onboarding process was smooth, and compliance with Indian laws was handled seamlessly, with no delays or issues. 

Their payroll management and operational support allowed us to focus entirely on scaling our business. The team’s quick integration into our workflows was a clear indicator of the project’s success.

Wisemonk’s project management was highly professional and well-organised. They delivered all items on time, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance processes. Their team was proactive in addressing our needs, quickly resolving any queries or challenges that arose. They maintained clear and regular communication, keeping us updated on progress throughout. Their responsiveness and commitment ensured that our expansion to India was smooth and stress-free.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most about Wisemonk was their deep understanding of both recruitment and compliance in the Indian market. Their ability to manage the entire process end-to-end, from hiring top talent to ensuring legal and operational compliance, was truly impressive. They were extremely responsive, proactive, and adaptive to our requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Wisemonk could have done differently?

While our experience with Wisemonk was largely positive, there is always room for improvement. At times, the turnaround time for feedback on certain roles could have been slightly faster. Also, providing more frequent updates during the initial stages of the recruitment process would have further helped to better communication.
