We re-designed our website and were unhappy with the previous agency we used for SEO. We were looking for a partner that could perform a thorough audit of the sites, make recommendations and implement them. We also wanted to partner with an agency that would take responsibility for the site's SEO health on an ongoing basis and that could explain to us what work was being done, why and how we could measure success.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
As Head of SEO, Charlie Whitworth provided us with a through and detailed plan on the work they were going to do on the site, the reasons why, where opportunities lay and how we could make the most of our existing infrastructure to support the SEO programme he designed. He worked closely with the content team to provide a holistic approach to SEO where off page and on page tactics worked in harmony to support each other.

We started with a discovery phase where Charlie and his team looked at what the previous agency did, what our frustrations/concerns were and what we wanted to achieve. They did a thorough competitor analysis, keyword analysis and in-depth technical SEO audit. They then provided a document with their key findings, recommendations and the plan for tackling the most pressing issues first and the ongoing monthly plan and regular SEO Audits schedule.

Charlie was the main point of contact for us with regards to SEO but I think there was a team of 3 SEO specialists that worked for him. We also had a team of 2 content specialists.

Our Organic SEO ranking sky rocketed only a couple months after we implemented the technical SEO recommendations. We experienced steady growth MoM and YoY steadily throughout the years Charlie Withworth was looking after our SEO.

We had face to face monthly meetings but also regular calls or emails as required. Charlie Whitworth was really good at explaining difficult or technical topics simply and clearly to everyone, regardless of their knowledge of SEO terminology and tactics.
