We needed a way to connect our PIM software to our ecommerce store, following some specific criteria to our company, We purchased Webkul's Akeneo-Shopify connector and hired them to customize it for specific business rules, and deploy it into our infrastructure. We have been working on centralize item management in Akeneo, and our goal was to transfer products, attributes and categorizartion to Shopify.

We found Webkul's connector via a google search. I evaluated the documentation and demos provided. After testing, I decided to inquire for customization options. Connector base funcionality and the customization possibility were the deciding factors.

We were looking for a way to connect our product database to our shopify store. Since connector was already pre-made, the discovery process was very straight forward. We had a series of conversations to discuss the viability of the customization we requested. Once it was confirmed that the changes to the connector could be made, Webkul took care of the installation very fast. We tested for a couple of days and requested clarification on connection methods, Testing step took about 2 days, after which we went live on production.

The price vs value delivered is hard to beat. Also speed of deployment is very impresive. The fact that they have plenty of connectors already deveolped helps a lot in the project turnaround time, but also helps in the evaluation process, as it is possible to play around with a full fledged demo and resolve querys beforehand.
