We wanted a clean, modern, and user-friendly website for each of our imaging centers. Each site has unique brand needs, but their designs needed to be consistent.

WebFX first assisted with SSL integration and migrating our old site to a new host before the main project. Throughout several meetings, we discussed our long list of requirements and our design direction thoroughly. After gathering our requirements, WebFX delivered a design for us to review. Each party documented tweaks and requests carefully to track outstanding work and see each request’s status. WebFX then interpreted our redesign requirements, coded the design, and built the final sites using Wordpress. Their team also implemented SEO.

We first had a dedicated staff member who answered pre-sales questions. WebFX has since assigned us a project manager and an internet marketer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The websites have launched, and we've already seen our traffic grow and bounce rates improve. Our internal team likes the look and feel of our new site designs. We look forward to working with WebFX to further enhance the site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project has run smoothly since the beginning. WebFX communicates well and is easy to work with. They support our desire to work quickly and efficiently. The project manager has stayed with our project for its entire duration, while the internet marketer is very friendly and responsive whenever we have questions. We use Basecamp to manage the project and to communicate between teams. We also collaborate via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We value their professionalism and approachability throughout the engagement. They provide constant and clear communication as well as realistic and honest expectations, which is refreshing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, we’ve had a superb working relationship with very few hiccups. On occasion, some invoices need correcting, but they are small errors that WebFX quickly fixes.

I’m the marketing director for Maryland Sunrooms. We build sunrooms, additions, patio covers, and enclosures. We've been in business for 20 years and are a top-rated company in our field.

What challenge were you trying to address with WebFX?

I have an IT background, but couldn’t act as our marketing director, event coordinator, and webmaster. I needed another company to help save me time and manage our SEO content so it kept up with Google Analytics.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They fixed links and updated our map and content. The majority of our site was already in place, but we needed to bring it back up to date. The biggest part of our work together involves SEO and PPC campaigns. They updated all our keywords, long forms, content, and blogs, and we just implemented a chat window to attract users who would rather not use the phone. As soon as we asked for that feature, they provided everything we needed, including FAQs and all the research to support it.

We have one main point of contact who acts as our project manager. He makes day to day changes but also collaborates with a development team for larger projects.

A Pennsylvania franchise recommended them. The price was right for our budget, and we liked their program.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend $500-$1,000 dollars per month on their services, not including ad spending. As a construction company, we tend to scale back over the winter.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2018, and the collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had a bit of a dry month right after we made changes, but that’s normal for SEO. We were also targeting a more precise clientele. Our traffic has picked back up, and our qualified leads have improved. We’re up about 200%, and our bounce rate is down.

How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re amazing project managers, and are one of the best companies I’ve worked with in 15 years. They are always on time, and they keep a calendar function where all our projects and deadlines are set. I’m always in contact with them, and they’re better than any other company I’ve worked with. They operate like an employee of our company, and I’m really impressed by their process. We use Basecamp, email, and phone to communicate.

Communication and project completion are two places they excel. They always deliver the results they promise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they should improve. I’ve filled out other reviews that required information on improvements, and I had trouble finding anything that would qualify.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Contact them sooner instead of later. The only way to get good leads in this market is to improve your search rankings, and working with WebFX will only benefit your company. The sooner you start campaigns with them, the faster you will see results.

I’m the global business development manager for Kalsi Engineering. We sell rotary shaft seal products and provide consulting engineering services.

We wanted to increase our web presence and reach a broader market with our services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

WebFX provides SEO and link building for our site. The team has provided keyword research, but we already have a good grasp on which industries and areas use our products. Their research has served more as food for thought to increase our keyword list and our overall effectiveness. They use Google Analytics and a few other software products to explain their processes to us.

The team also creates videos and micrographics. In addition, when our site was hacked, WebFX helped restore its appearance and functionality. As an expansion on our original scope, they now provide security patches for our server and free site recovery services in case a hack occurs again.

I believe that we found their team only. I interviewed with Jessica (Assistant Web Strategy Manager, WebFX) who did an excellent job of describing the company and what they do and don’t do.

Our monthly inquiries have more than doubled. We’ve had a successful collaboration with WebFX.

The team regularly goes above and beyond to provide extra service for us. The value of their services is hard to beat; I often feel like I should be paying more for what they do. We have meetings every other week and communicate via email.

WebFX excels at teaching us essential information, guiding us in the right direction, and then letting us do things our own way. They’re outstanding at managing that balance.

They've definitely added to the ease of our UI, and we've seen an increase in traffic. We wanted to market outside of our state, which they helped us achieve through blogs and other channels. We've had inquiries and a ton of traffic from outside our local area.

How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They used Basecamp but didn’t require us to use it. Any email correspondence we send feeds into their channels, and we can continue to use our internal systems. There is a monthly calendar, and they plan a couple of months in advance to optimize our site.

They’re very organized, and I never have to worry that they are completing tasks. They always take the initiative, set meetings, and finish everything we ask them to.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're so organized, and their trustworthiness is life-changing. I never have to micromanage them, and they always go above and beyond our requirements. They’re also honest about their capabilities, and they offer quotes for extra work outside the scope of the contract. They know our business very well, and they feel like a member of our internal team.

I don't have any improvements or suggestions for how they could serve us better; they’re a good company to work with.

Be as invested as they are. They took time to educate themselves, know our business, figure out what works best. They were excited about working with us because we were engaged and passionate about the project. The more engaged you can be, the better your collaboration.

How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?

WebFX is responsive and keeps every component of the project on track. I’ve never had to ask something twice. Given the nature of SEO and PPC, results can feel slow moving, but we’ve already seen progress in the team’s performance and our partnership. I’ve never questioned my choice in hiring them; we see eye to eye. I have weekly phone calls with the account manager.

Invest in WebFX. Clients will need to spend money, but they will get a return at the end of the day.

We started researching new vendors on sites such as Clutch.co after years of being dissatisfied with the firm we were working with and receiving lots of cold calls from others. We decided to give them a try based on the many positive reviews they had from previous clients.

We've invested about $15,000 in total. The first two months were more expensive because they were allocating more hours to update our website.

We've been working with them since April 2018.

Our top keywords are ranking high on Google for our most popular products. Thanks to the quality of the content they created, we're seeing a huge increase in organic rankings and performing better than we were on Amazon or Etsy. We're also ranking higher than our primary competitors in the space.

They schedule everything in advance and are very communicative. There's never been any surprises or rescheduled conference calls on their end. It feels as though they take our relationship very seriously.

What did you find most impressive about them?

In addition to successfully generating results, they take the time to listen to our needs and don't try to sell us on services we don't necessarily need. Unlike other companies, they asked us what keywords we wanted to focus on and put together a strategic plan to make it happen.

The upfront investment took us by surprise, but their work ultimately generated results that made it worth the investment.

Give their process time and don't get discouraged because it could take a couple of months for the results of the SEO strategies to kick in.

WebFX helped increase organic traffic to our website by 500% year over year, and we continue to see a strong rate of growth. Their success is all attributed to developing strong content and optimizing keywords, because we haven't had to spend any money on advertising to gain momentum.

Their efforts have increased our line of revenue for one product by 9% through an ad campaign, which continues to increase month over month. They've also helped us hone in on our commercial service and successfully increased conversion in that department through a PPC campaign.

Working with WebFX has been the best vendor partnership we've had. There's a lot of trust between our teams; they understand and care about our products and goals. 

Our main point of contact has been great to work with, taking a ton of work off my plate. Their team is transparent about pricing, timely, and good at communicating the status of various SEO efforts. They provide daily and weekly updates, summarizing what they've completed and continue to work on in simple emails, so I don't have to go into a project management system to check on everything.

They genuinely care about the success of our websites and the goals that we set. Our products aren't necessarily very exciting, yet their team is very enthusiastic and invested in both the work and the growth they're producing for us.

I'm very pleased with them overall. Any opportunity for improvement would involve making our website more sophisticated, which I'm confident they could handle.

No, I'd just recommend them because they're going to provide a very personalized relationship and may learn some aspects of the business better than its own employees.
