**IoT & Edge AI. Chip to cloud. Full-cycle.**
WebbyLab is a full-cycle engineering company specializing in IoT, embedded systems, and AI development — with additional expertise in fintech, eCommerce, and custom software. Founded in 2010, we bring together 120+ engineers across hardware, firmware, and software disciplines to deliver products that work from the chip level up to the cloud.

Our core strength is IoT and embedded development: we design IoT architectures, develop firmware in C/C++, build Edge AI systems that run inference directly on constrained hardware, and connect devices through MQTT, CoAP, and LwM2M protocols. We handle the full stack — microcontroller firmware, real-time OS integration, cloud connectivity, and web/mobile dashboards — within a single engagement.

Our AI practice covers LLM integration (GPT, Gemini, Claude, Mistral), self-hosted model deployment on private infrastructure, AI agent development with multi-tool and multi-agent workflows, MCP server/client implementation, and autonomous data pipelines. We build observable, production-ready AI systems — not prototypes.

Beyond IoT and AI, we deliver fintech platforms (payment processing, KYC/AML, Open Banking integrations), eCommerce solutions, and long-term application support and maintenance for clients who need a reliable engineering partner post-launch.

Clients include Mercedes-Benz, Pfizer, Uber, Intersport, and Nova Poshta. 88% return for a second engagement.

I am the CTO of a company that leads the indoor wellness revolution.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire WebbyLab, and what were your goals?

WebbyLab has worked hand in hand with us for several years on building and evolving a state of the art modular platform Node based solution that can be embedded into devices (like RPi) or highly scalable Elastic Cloud deployments (using the same code base) as well as a flexible React App framework upon which we build multiple User Experiences across product offerings.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We first met Webby through an industry partner, and because of our unique requirements for a new kind of platform, we had to make sure that the team clearly understood the long term goal

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

There is too much to list here, and we want to keep the details confidential. But for several years we have had 4 or more members of the Webby team working with us on a daily basis. This includes a minimum of 1, and at times two weekly status meetings that last over an hour, as well as daily standup meetings. We are EST time zone, and the team is in Ukraine. They adapted to our timezone and we kept real time communications through Slack, dev through GitHub, and feature and bug tracking through Jira.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A minimum of 4 people, but at times many more. Three core teams of embedded, Cloud and UX.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The team FAR exceeded all expectations, and continues to delight us with work that is world class and increasingly optimized and flexible updates and evolutions to our platform. We consider this team as a part of our family, and that is a sentiment reflected at the highest level or our organization.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Fantastic project management. Estimates and tracking were done better than any other contractor we have engaged, and the team has become

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Brilliant and creative team that is a natural extension and fit with our own in house team. They are easy and delightful to work with and respond well to my controlling nature. I have made it a point to personally and closely manage this work over these years, sometimes to the point of perhaps too controlling ... but no member of this team has been anything but professional and open minded to my direction.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Early into the engagement, we sometimes had communication issues .. and we had to course correct a few times. But that quickly fell away and now together with my internal dev team, we are a well oiled machine.

**The Review** — Jun 10, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: With a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to researching methods, WebbyLab was a fantastic partner. The team emphasized communication, responsiveness, and professionalism throughout the engagement.
""Their expertise and desire to deliver work done the right way was impressive."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m an architect at iBASEt, a manufacturing solutions provider.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebbyLab?

We needed to upgrade our legacy enterprise product to the latest browser-based user interface. We started developing it by ourselves, but it was difficult for us to get people on board quickly, so we started looking for someone with expertise in the area to help us quickly.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We have different modules in our system, one of which needed to be made available on the new browser-based application. WebbyLab used React, Redux, and JavaScript to convert the legacy modules to a web-based architecture with the frontend technologies. They also helped us in putting architecture with Node.js backend services and writing the APIs on Node.js.

What is the team composition?

There are two senior developers and two junior developers.

How did you come to work with WebbyLab?

We analyzed several companies. We engaged a few companies, but kept running into issues. Our CTO reached out to WebbyLab on LinkedIn, and they were the right size for us and very focused.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $125,000 on the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Webbylab started in October 2019.  In March of 2020, we decided to take a pause due to our internal constraints.  We would be engaging back Webbylab once our internal constraints are lifted.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

WebbyLab is very technically sound. They’re focused on doing their work the right way and not just completing it. The team researches how to implement everything correctly before following through.

Also, they have open-source frameworks they use among their different projects. They suggested the same for us, and it was nice to start using what they had already. It helped us to move forward quickly.

How did WebbyLab perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed really well. The technical lead was good with communication. It didn’t go as fast as we expected, but given the complexity and the explanation WebbyLab provided, I’m happy with the time it took.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their expertise and desire to deliver work done the right way was impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The junior developers could benefit from working to improve their English. It could sometimes be difficult to communicate with them. It was helpful having the lead.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend working with them. They’re responsive and engaged.

"“It didn’t have a lot of bugs and was market standard for development.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the former VP of research for a public company trading on NASDAQ.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebbyLab?

We needed help building a customer-facing portal for our customers to log-in, view their data, finances, usage statistics, and other services.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They built our customer portal. They used PHP on our request and the Symfony 2 framework. We provided the design and they did only the development.

We gave them our product requirements and then had a round of discussions about those technical specifications. They developed specifications and then worked on the code. Our testers were involved to make sure that they meet the requirements that we set.

It’s a password protected page where our customers log in and see a dashboard for our services. They can see errors, problems, financial issues, and separate pages for the sent configuration and statistics. There are also some tools to help them understand why their mail hasn’t gone out, and somewhere to change their payment information.

What is the team composition?

We interfaced with the project manager and the general developer, but I don’t know how many people were on the team.

How did you come to work with WebbyLab?

We had a request for proposal with several companies and WebbyLab responded with a price and timeline. We talked about how to pursue the development and what the strategy should be. We liked what they had to say and chose them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2013–May 2014.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were satisfied with the results—it didn’t have a lot of bugs and was market standard for development. The development work and the changes done in the architecture met our expectations.

How did WebbyLab perform from a project management standpoint?

It was good and they were almost exactly on time. There were some issues with deliveries, but we managed to figure out how to push to production as soon as possible. Whenever there were slipups, they were able to pick up the slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They work late hours and during the weekend to get the results. Their attitude and pricing were very competitive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

No.

**The Review** — Dec 6, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The product was completed well with the majority of the deadlines throughout met. They were a dedicated team who demonstrated their ambition and excellent skillset, building an application that meets the need and is well maintained by the team.
"“They realize that the best way to grow is to produce fantastic work and have happy clients.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the CEO of a sports data company. Most of our team are split across product, engineering, and data services, but we wanted to gain experience working with a new technology and with a remote team.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire WebbyLab?

We already have an internal mobile application, but we had a new idea that we wanted to test. Rather than immediately extending our internal team, we decided to build the initial proof of concept using WebbyLab before deciding whether to bring it in-house or not.

What were your goals for this project?

First, to quickly deploy a well-built application into production to test our hypothesis. Secondly, to test the effectiveness of React Native as a mobile development language, at least for points of contact. And finally, to introduce our internal team to the experience of working with a remote engineering office.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

We found WebbyLab online, along with two other companies. After reviewing their materials and having a series of calls, we were happy to proceed with them. Before committing, we got a recommendation for another vendor in their city but decided to stick with WebbyLab, and we’re happy we did.

Describe the project in detail.

We began by iterating a product specification document to a stage where they felt comfortable enough to give us a non-binding estimate. Having worked with remote teams in the past, I felt that the best option was working on a time and materials basis, but an estimate was important for budgeting purposes.

They then worked on the application development using React Native as the development language.

What was the team composition?

We had a part-time project manager, a frontend developer, and a QA. These worked closely with our product owner, our designer, and one of our backend developers to tweak our API.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The bulk of the app was launched on time, which I consider a success. There were some delays, but I blame that mainly on us evolving the specifications as the app developed. They’ve also been very proactive in dealing with minor modifications and bug fixing requests since the delivery.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We flew over to visit them because it was important for me to meet in person, and the meetings we had in person were extremely effective. Following that, a mix of Slack, Standuply, and Github was sufficient to efficiently streamline our workflows.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're really ambitious—they realize that the best way to grow is to produce fantastic work and have happy clients that keep coming back or recommend them. They're also still small enough to make a startup like us feel special.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Generally, the process worked very well. The developers could have slightly better English skills, but the project managers’ English was excellent and that was what really counted. The only area where I'd improve is on actively managing the long tail of the project to ensure effective completion.

**The Review** — Jan 29, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: After rapidly fixing remaining bugs at no cost, WebbyLab delivered a high-quality product on time. Their responsiveness, constant availability, customer-focused approach, and unique payment system made for an overall superlative vendor experience.
"“I didn’t even search the market for other companies because I knew they were the best.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the site manager of WorldTicket, a cloud solution for airline companies.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebbyLab?

One of our major customers requested a project that needed to be finished within a very short time frame without sacrificing quality. It’s a proprietary application that allows airlines to manage their reservations, sell tickets, etc.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They built the single-page app and integrated it with payment systems and a Magento CMS. We used the Java technology stack. They specified the requirements from the beginning, explained them to our business representatives, and then implemented the app. They conducted QA on their side.

They created a functionality that allows customers to book their flights and reserve seats. They designed the UI and ensured that the backend (e.g., heatmaps, reservations) matched. We also requested them to implement some additional requirements later on.

What is the team composition?

We mostly worked with JavaScript developers. I communicated with Anton (Co-Founder & COO, WebbyLab) and Iliya (QA Engineer, WebbyLab), who both managed the project.

How did you come to work with WebbyLab?

I’d worked with them in the past and was satisfied with the quality of their service. For that engagement, I’d searched on Google and selected another company at first who spent about 80% of the budget and only delivered 30% of the functionality. We immediately terminated them and asked WebbyLab to estimate the project as well as confirm that they could deliver on time.

This is why I asked them to work on this project also. I didn’t even search the market for other companies because I knew they were the best.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between €15,000–€20,000 euros ($18,595–$24,794).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2016–March 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They met deadlines and provided a really good-quality app. Our team found about 20 bugs that were fixed within 1–2 weeks at no charge. The most challenging things were delivering such a high-quality product with very strict deadlines. They met all of those requirements.

How did WebbyLab perform from a project management standpoint?

Anton and Iliya were very responsive and always answered us within 1–2 hours. They even worked on features during a holiday because we requested it after the integration of the project’s major parts. I liked working with them because they made themselves constantly available, even at night.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like that they’re responsive and customer-centric. They’ll even implement some things for free on occasion to make the customer happy.

They’ve never asked me to pay until they’ve successfully finished a project. They always told us that if we didn’t like what they delivered, then we didn’t have to pay.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m happy with everything about them.

**The Review** — Nov 2, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Their dedication to solving issues has established them as a solid partner. Their work extends beyond cookie-cutter solutions, as they delve into the finer details of custom programming and processes. It's a rare team that can deliver this on time, accomplished within budget, and with few flaws.
""They are deeply technical people and can find a solution to any kind of custom problem."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Modelate is a software company that develops software products, mostly in the pharmaceutical domain. I am the CEO and founder.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebbyLab?

We were looking for a reliable partner with deep technical development knowledge.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They take care of all the technical work. We do product design, UX and UI management requirements, and engineering, which they receive and do the programming from there. They are proficient in JavaScript, as well as web technology. They use Node.js, ReactJS, and general JavaScripting frameworks and have the tooling set up for continued delivery processes.

We often work with mathematical models, which are not always simple to program. A regular programmer cannot program them, and we must have someone with mathematical knowledge and background. They take of this for us, and we are very happy with the work. They've helped us out with around 20 projects so far.

What is the team dynamic?

I've worked with about 15 people; we have core teams, and sometimes the people change.

How did you come to work with WebbyLab?

They were suggested to us, and we found what we were looking for in them. They were rather small when we started working with them, and we grew together.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since 2013, and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They are deeply technical people and can find a solution to any kind of custom problem, which is the biggest value.

Everyone has been satisfied with their work. From time to time, there are some issues as part of normal business, but they get fixed.

We partner tightly with them and they are integrated with us. Our managers talk to their managers, and we know the people who work with us by name. It is a solid collaboration, with a clear separation of concerns. Usually, the projects are not typical and involve a fair amount of logic and custom components.

How did WebbyLab perform from a project management standpoint?

They are responsive, and we communicate daily with the developers. We most often communicate through Skype, emails, Slack, and project management systems.

In terms of deliverables, the work is delivered on time, on budget, and without critical defects.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like that they never stop searching to find a solution.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Not that I can think of right now.

**The Review** — Aug 10, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: WebbyLab expedited the launch of the platform, which was ready for customers in a matter of months. The team is adept at prioritizing tasks and turning ideas into actionable steps. Clients can expect superior project management and communication skills from Webby Lab.
"“They can take a fairly vague brief and turn it into a concrete plan.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Prix is building a web-based optimization tool for hotels. We take booking data, analyze it, and make forecasts on their occupancy. We use this to calculate the best prices for their rooms, allowing them to make more revenue. I am the head of products and growth for the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebbyLab?

We wanted to build a dashboard that would serve as the main frontend face for our technology, and we wanted to do it quickly in order to test it with customers and iterate on it. Unfortunately, hiring good frontend people in London is difficult, time-consuming, and expensive. We were looking for a more affordable and flexible solution.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

The main technology we’ve used is React, which is what the dashboard was built on. WebbyLab has been helping with the frontend as well as some backend work. They’ve also provided small bits of web design work for our marketing website.

The main purpose of the dashboard is to visualize booking data from hotels. There are multiple graphs and numbers that turn this data into something that’s a bit more usable for customers. Secondly, the dashboard displays forecasts and price recommendations for hotels. We needed to create clear modules that are easy to read and actionable.

What is the team dynamic?

We’ve had 1 full-time developer for the whole duration. Occasionally, we also worked with a backup developer when we needed extra capacity for a few days.

How did you come to work with WebbyLab?

We were particularly interested in using React and searched online for good agencies. I don’t remember whether WebbyLab was recommended to us or whether we simply found them randomly. We considered 2 other agencies, but we chose WebbyLab in the end.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost has been $20,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with WebbyLab in April 2017. The project is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Working with WebbyLab has allowed us to get our product up and running. We’ve onboarded 9 properties to the platform. Within a period of 2 ½ months, we went from having no product to having a live platform that customers are paying for. This has been the main result — the speed at which we’ve been able to add features and get to a point of having a live product.

How did WebbyLab perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is exceptional. We work with a project manager who speaks amazing English, who helps guarantee that WebbyLab is working on top-priority tasks and resolves any confusion created by language barriers. The developer speaks good English, and his language is getting better and better, but having an additional person keep track of tasks ensures that they’re working on the most important things at any given time. Our project manager resolves any queries quickly and plans the roadmap of what WebbyLab is doing — what they’ll work on next and how long it will take. They’re doing a good job.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The project management makes it very easy to work with WebbyLab. They can take a fairly vague brief and turn it into a concrete plan. As a small startup, we don’t always have time to put together a detailed requirements document. A lot of the time, it’s just a sketch and a few bullet points. WebbyLab is able to take that and translate it into a plan and some questions. This lets us start building and resolving problems in a more Agile fashion than other agencies would have allowed us to. From experience, other developers require much more detailed plans up front, which means there is a lot more overhead in terms of explaining what we want from them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really. I’ve been happy with them so far. Most of the time, things go smoothly, but, every now and then, there is a bit of a language barrier. If there’s a misunderstanding, we can resolve it quickly.

### B2C Marketplace Platform for Electronics Retail
ITbox, a division of Brain Computers operating 50+ service centers across Ukraine, needed to rebuild their B2C online marketplace from the ground up. The existing platform couldn't keep up with the scale of the business — internal processes were manual, customers had no real-time visibility into product availability, and the system wasn't built to handle the load of a high-traffic retail operation.
WebbyLab designed and developed the full marketplace platform in 4 months, covering business analysis, architecture, frontend and backend development, QA, and ongoing technical support. The team built a custom API service for real-time product availability checks across all points of sale and courier delivery time estimates, giving customers instant and accurate information at checkout. The platform also includes an internal advertising management system, user segmentation, a custom category tree module, and a fully self-managed SEO admin interface so the client can control all content independently.
The results speak for themselves: the platform handles over 1 million visitors per month, supports 1,000+ simultaneous users, and processes 10,000+ transactions per month. Organic traffic grew by 17% thanks to search optimization built into the platform from the start. WebbyLab continues to support the platform in ongoing maintenance mode.

### Intersport Ukraine Custom eCommerce Platform
Intersport Ukraine, the local franchise of the global sporting goods retail chain operating 46 stores, came to WebbyLab needing a custom online shop built from scratch. Their entire sales operation was offline, and the goal was to bring it online — giving customers the ability to check product availability, book items, and place purchases through the web, while matching the visual identity of the global Intersport brand.
WebbyLab designed and developed the full eCommerce platform over 1 year with a team of 5, covering architecture, business analysis, frontend and backend development, integrations, and QA. The solution was integrated with the client's existing ERP and PIM systems, with two-way order data exchange and the ability to manage product content via Excel. The platform also connects to online payment systems and courier company APIs. PWA support was implemented to ensure a fast, app-like experience on mobile — critical given that 88% of the target audience shops on smartphones. Page load time for the first piece of content reaches 1.1 seconds.
The results: 17% organic traffic growth, a catalog of 200,000+ SKUs, and 100–150 orders per day on average, scaling to 350–400 orders on peak days like Black Friday.

### AI Market Access Planning Tool for Healthcare
A healthcare company came to WebbyLab needing a tool to streamline how their team researches and plans entry into medical markets across different countries. The challenge was complex: disease classifiers, medical procedures, and drug databases vary significantly by country and language, making it nearly impossible to search and compare data from a single place.
WebbyLab built an AI-powered market access planning platform using a RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) approach. The system aggregates 32 classification documents from 7 countries into a unified knowledge base and uses a combination of vector search and full-text search to deliver semantically accurate results — achieving 95% search efficiency. The platform supports 6 languages with automatic translation, generates PDF reports from search results, and provides tools for assessing reimbursement options and evaluating the impact of new drugs on treatment outcomes.
The result is a single workspace where the client's team can research any medical market without switching between sources, with AI finding relevant connections across classifiers that traditional search could not.

### HR Process Automation for MHP
MHP, one of Europe's largest agricultural producers with over 25,000 employees, came to WebbyLab with a challenge: their vacation request process relied entirely on paper forms, creating excessive manual workload for HR and limiting employees' ability to manage requests independently.
WebbyLab developed a cross-platform self-service web application that allows workers to submit, track, and digitally sign vacation requests from any device — without visiting an office or waiting on a manager. The system integrates with MHP's internal API, supports multi-level approval workflows, and is deployed on Azure Container Apps for reliability and scalability.
As a result, the solution automates document flow for tens of thousands of employees across the organization, significantly reducing HR processing time and paper dependency while remaining accessible to users of all technical backgrounds — from factory floor workers to executives.

### COST EFFECTIVENESS MODEL. iPad and web apps with a cross-platform HTML5 technology
The client came to us to create a digital tool for field HEOR/Market Access and MSL teams, so that they could demonstrate the cost effectiveness of the new medication to the payer in efficient and engaging manner.

### Solumina MES Frontend Modernization for iBASEt
iBASEt, a US-based provider of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software for aerospace and defense industries, needed to modernize the frontend of their flagship product — Solumina — and scale their engineering capacity. Their existing platform lacked flexibility for customization, and they needed additional expertise to build new features without slowing down their distributed Scrum teams in the US, India, and Canada.
WebbyLab provided a dedicated team of 4 specialists — frontend developers, QA, and DevOps — who embedded directly into iBASEt's development process. The team built a React.js-based customization framework that allowed Solumina to be adapted to individual enterprise client needs without modifying the core product. Additionally, WebbyLab implemented and supported an internal video streaming service to handle large volumes of data within the platform.
The engagement has been running since 2019, with the WebbyLab team operating as a seamless extension of iBASEt's engineering organization.

### Automated KYC Onboarding Platform for Boxopay
Boxopay, a FinTech company handling large volumes of user data daily, needed to eliminate a costly bottleneck: their client verification and registration process was manual, fragmented across multiple systems, and extremely time-consuming for end users.
WebbyLab built AKOS — a headless, omnichannel KYC onboarding platform consisting of two panels: an admin back-office for configuring verification rules, managing applications, and integrating third-party screening services; and a user-facing panel that guides applicants through identification, document submission, and registration across multiple systems simultaneously. The platform's flexible connector system allows integration with any external identity or compliance service without custom development for each provider.
As a result, onboarding automation rate went from 0 to 100%, average onboarding time dropped to 8.5 minutes, and cost per onboarding stabilized at approximately $10. AKOS has since become a standalone WebbyLab product available to other FinTech companies.

### Offline-Ready Retail Cashier Desktop App
WebbyLab was approached by Euroline, a Ukrainian retail chain with 30+ stores, who struggled to keep sales running during frequent network outages and ERP downtime — cashier workflows were constantly interrupted, leading to delays and pricing errors at the point of sale.
To solve this, WebbyLab built a custom desktop cashier application that works seamlessly both online and offline. The app automatically saves all transactions locally and syncs with the central ERP once connectivity is restored — meaning cashiers can process sales, accept card payments, apply loyalty discounts, and issue fiscal receipts without any interruptions, regardless of internet stability. The solution was rolled out across all retail locations, unifying operations under a single reliable tool and eliminating the costly errors of the previous system.

### Custom PIM System for Multi-Channel eCommerce
Euroline, a retailer operating multiple eCommerce stores, came to WebbyLab with a product data management problem. Their catalog of 13,000+ SKUs was spread across four online stores, and the same product often had inconsistent descriptions, specifications, and images on different channels. Manually maintaining product information across all platforms was slowing down the team and making it nearly impossible to scale.
WebbyLab designed and built a custom Product Information Management (PIM) system from scratch — a single source of truth for all product content. The solution allows the client to manage products, images, categories, specifications, brands, and custom fields in one place, then automatically distribute consistent data across all connected sales channels. Bulk editing, version history with restore capability, and configurable user roles reduced the risk of human error and gave the team full control over their catalog.
The PIM was integrated with the client's OpenCart-based stores via a custom synchronization plugin developed for each channel. Today the system manages 7 brands and 30,000+ SKUs across all connected stores, with consistent product data, faster time-to-launch for new products, and a scalable foundation that continues to support the client's catalog growth.

### E-Commerce Platform for Arena Sportswear
Arena, a multi-brand sportswear retail chain with stores across Ukraine, had no online sales channel — customers could only purchase in-store, which meant missed revenue and limited reach. The business needed a full e-commerce platform delivered quickly and within a fixed budget.
WebbyLab built and launched the ArenaStore online shop in 3 months. The platform features a streamlined order management system, bulk product updates via Excel, drag-and-drop image management, NovaPoshta delivery integration with consignment note printing, social login, discount coupon rules, and data feed generation for Google and Facebook marketplaces. Special attention was paid to the admin interface to minimize manual work for the operations team.
The store launched capable of handling over 10,000 customers per day and contributed to a 10% increase in the company's overall sales.

### OTA Firmware Update System for Industrial Welding
Paton, a Ukrainian manufacturer of professional welding machines sold across Europe, Turkey, and Latin America, came to WebbyLab with a pressing operational problem: every firmware update required end users to visit a service center in person, creating a significant bottleneck for rolling out improvements across thousands of devices in 10+ countries.
WebbyLab took full ownership of the solution from scratch — starting with a Discovery phase to evaluate the best technical approach, and delivering a complete OTA (over-the-air) firmware update ecosystem in 3 months. The team designed and built a custom BLE bridge module integrated into the welding machines, a branded mobile app for iOS and Android, a cloud backend, and a web-based admin panel for Paton's team.
End users can now update their devices independently via a simple mobile app — no service center visit required. Service centers get a professional tool with advanced firmware version management. Paton's team manages firmware releases, equipment registry, and service centers through an admin panel, and gets fleet analytics via AI-powered dashboards they can configure themselves in natural language without involving developers.
The solution supports 9+ welding machine series, 9 languages, and is live across all key markets.

### 2Smart: IoT Building Automation Platform
The 2smart platform has pluggable architecture and consists of a universal core and modules. The core knows nothing about hardware protocols and is not bound to any vendor. Modules are plugins that add support for different features and protocols. For example, if you want to integrate with Zigbee, all you need is just to install the Zigbee Bridge module from our marketplace.

### IoT Cloud Platform for EV Charging Stations
MyBox, an EV charging station manufacturer from the Czech Republic, needed a complete digital ecosystem to bring their hardware to market: cloud backend for operators, mobile apps for end-users, and firmware for the chargers themselves — all built from scratch within a tight timeline.
WebbyLab built a full-stack IoT platform by extending the existing 2Smart Cloud framework with custom EV-specific features: a web admin panel for remote management of thousands of chargers, multi-layer permission system for enterprise clients, OTA firmware updates, real-time telemetry, and white-labeled iOS/Android apps for end-users. A universal firmware was developed for the ESP32-C3 microcontroller to ensure compatibility with hardware from different vendors, simplifying future scaling.
By reusing the proven 2Smart Cloud infrastructure as a foundation, WebbyLab significantly reduced time to market while delivering an enterprise-grade, scalable EV charging management system ready for both private and public charging networks.

### Propuskator – Cloud Access Control System
The access control market had a clear gap: most ACS solutions were 20–30 years old, required specialist setup, and offered no mobile control. WebbyLab set out to build a modern, cloud-based system that any administrator could manage without technical expertise — and that would continue working offline during internet outages.
The team built a full-stack IoT access control system from the ground up — including custom PCB design, firmware development, and a cloud platform on microservices architecture. The delivered product, Propuskator, supports access via cards, key fobs, and mobile app; can be deployed on public or private cloud; and includes compact multi-functional IoT controllers for managing electric locks, gates, and barriers. The system operates autonomously offline, syncing permissions once connectivity is restored.

### IoT Firmware for Remote Heat Pump Monitoring
SmartHeat, a manufacturer of high-efficiency heat pumps for residential and industrial use, faced a growing support cost problem: nearly half of all on-site service visits turned out to be unnecessary — the issue could have been resolved remotely by adjusting operating parameters. Additionally, end users had no way to control the pumps without physically going to the equipment room, and engineers had to be on-site to collect diagnostics.
WebbyLab modified the existing ESP32 firmware to connect SmartHeat's pumps to the 2Smart Cloud platform, enabling remote monitoring, configuration, and telemetry collection via web and mobile interfaces — without replacing any hardware. The solution delivered cloud storage of historical operating data, a modern HVAC control app for end users, and remote diagnostics tools for the support team.
The results were measurable: on-site service visits dropped by 30%, average user satisfaction score rose from 7.3 to 8.0 (NPS from +54 to +59), and energy efficiency of already-deployed pumps improved by an average of 4.35%.

### B2B Portal for Brain Computers
Brain, Ukraine's electronics retailers, approached WebbyLab with a complex B2B challenge: their dealer and corporate sales network had grown to over 3,000 resellers managing a catalog of 300,000 SKUs, but there was no unified digital platform to support wholesale ordering, logistics visibility, or reseller self-service.
WebbyLab designed and built two B2B portals — for dealer and corporate clients — on a microservices architecture. The platform includes a full-featured ordering system with real-time warehouse availability across regional locations, dropshipping and order booking, invoice generation, promotional management, and a built-in PIM for product data. Resellers gained the ability to manage orders end-to-end without involving Brain's sales team.
The platform has been live for over 10 years and continues to evolve — WebbyLab regularly ships new features and extensions to keep up with Brain's expanding product lines and growing reseller network.

### B2B Trade Portals for MHP Agro-Holding
MHP, Ukraine's largest agro-industrial holding supplying products to 80+ countries, came to WebbyLab with an operational bottleneck: managers were overwhelmed handling routine customer inquiries — order tracking, delivery status, financial reports, complaints — all via phone and email. Clients lacked visibility into their own orders and sales plans.
WebbyLab built two separate B2B self-service portals in just 5 months: one for domestic trade (with a companion mobile app for up to 1,500 users) and one for export operations (serving 150+ international partners). Both portals integrate with SAP ERP and give distributors direct access to order placement, shipment tracking, sales plan performance, financial indicators, and automated report generation — without involving a manager.
As a result, the workload on MHP's sales managers decreased by 25%, and export customers gained 24/7 access to their account data independently.

### Loyalty Platform for Euroline Multi-Brand Retail
Euroline, a leading Ukrainian distributor of sportswear brands including Arena, Runlab, CMP, and Saucony, had no real loyalty system in place. Discounts were managed manually in OpenCart with only two basic mechanics, there was no customer segmentation or analytics, and every major promotion required building a separate landing page and custom admin tool from scratch — time-consuming and impossible to scale across 6 branded storefronts.
WebbyLab deployed and deeply customized the Loyalno white-label loyalty platform for Euroline, integrating it across all 6 OpenCart storefronts. A custom plugin was developed to handle real-time discount calculation, bonus points accrual and redemption, automated product data sync, and post-delivery bonus triggers. The platform was extended with complex promotional mechanics — bundle deals, multi-price type discounts, behavioral repurchase triggers, and birthday offers — and integrated with eSputnik for marketing communications.
As a result, Euroline replaced fragmented per-campaign tooling with a unified loyalty admin panel across all brands, gained full analytics on program performance for the first time, and enabled marketing to run complex multi-brand promotions without engineering involvement for each campaign.
