The scope of work for the BYOND by BSI audit involved a comprehensive end-to-end evaluation of the mobile app’s user experience and interface design, especially in UX Copy. The key deliverables included a comprehensive UX audit report detailing findings and annotated screenshots, a UX recommendations deck summarizing insights and action items.

Gizalab has a design and research team. There are 10 employees dedicated as one team for our client in the financial services sector in Jakarta. These ten people consist of UI/UX Designers, a Media Specialist (Graphic Designer), and Researchers. They are required to have UX Writing skills. The note is: the client does not need dedicated writers, but they requested that this 10-person team possess writing skills.

Therefore, Gizalab has taken the initiative to find ways for the team to acquire this writing skillset, one of which is through UX Writing training from an expert.

Workshop Goals

• To equip Gizalab's dedicated team with a solid understanding of UX Writing principles.
• To ensure the Gizalab team continues to perform well even without dedicated UX Writers. 
• To enable the Gizalab team to craft writing for designed products while still fulfilling their primary roles (designers and researchers). 
• To enable the Gizalab team to write reports or presentation decks with good storytelling and writing quality.

Success Metrics

• Ability to craft UX Writing in accordance with the defined guidelines and UX principles agreed upon with the client.
• Minimize or eliminate complaints to management regarding UX Writing.
• Ability to produce well-written reports or presentation decks.

• Ability to craft UX Writing in accordance with the defined guidelines and UX principles agreed upon with the client. So non writers can do copywriting tasks.
• Minimize or eliminate complaints to management regarding UX Writing.
• Ability to produce well-written reports or presentation decks.
• No complaints from the clients

WarCop is super professional. I really love how they treat each workshop carefully. They even customized the materials, the sylabus to match with our workshop need. Appreciate how they put their full effort and love to the work

I used multiple services from warcop. Here's the breakdown of the service and the outcome:

1. Private Consultation 
   • Scope: Set 3 one-hour sessions where I could consult about anything related to work. I could set the topic in advance so they could properly prepare, or we could just dive improptu.
   • Result: I could go into details not only about the problems I faced at work, but also the obstacles I faced within myself. Thus, leading to the solutions that were tailored specifically for me.
2. Content Design Bootcamp 
   • Scope: An 8-session bootcamp of content design, starting from the basics of UX writing, to career preparation.
   • Result: Although I have years of experience in content design, the bootcamp offered something new. It gave me a new perspective, especially on how to climb the content design career ladder.
3. Group Mentoring 
   • Scope: Warcop provided mentorship to my team. We discussed and tackled on-going challenges at work. They also provided individual mentoring, which helped since the members of the team were in different stages of their career.
   • Result: Warcop gave us suggestions and solutions to the challenges we faced at work. With the lack of leadership in our team, warcop provided clear guidance and mentorship which helped us grow not only as a team, but also individually.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Most of the outcome of this project were not measurable. However, the impact of their service cannot be understated. Their in-depth mentorship have helped us beyond growth at work, but also in our careers in general.

They were always on-time. They even made the time to come to the office for an offline session. But what I appreciate most is how agile they were and adapted not only to the sudden-changing schedules, but also changing topics.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Warcop are no newcomers to the industry. They've done it all. The years and wide-variety of experiences they have lead to invaluable insights. 

What I find most impressive about them is how they can provide solutions no matter how unique the problem we have. Plus, they're great listeners, so they can really emphatize with the problems we faced.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Warcop Studio could have done differently?

This is by no means a major criticism for Warcop. But I believe if they add more people in their team with different backgrounds and styles, they can truly cover all types of clients and needs.
