I’m the owner and operations manager at Alkalined. We have alkaline water refill stations positioned outside organic or specialty stores.

What challenge were you trying to address with Votive Brands?

We needed help with our branding and social media marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Votive Brands to handle our branding and social media marketing efforts. They came up with a new strategy that included our brand positioning and target audience, along with explanations as to why we needed to go in that direction. After that, Votive Brands led a whole brand refresh. They redesigned our logo, branding and marketing assets, and print materials and created new branding guidelines for us.

Votive Brands still creates content for our website and social media.

What is the team composition?

We primarily work with Brittany (Founder & Director).

How did you come to work with Votive Brands?

We found Votive Brands through a referral.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent somewhere between $15,000–$20,000 AUD (Approximately $10,000–$14,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received a lot of positive feedback on our new print and digital marketing materials. Just recently, one of our suppliers mentioned how clean and good our branding looks. We’re also impressed with our premium-looking logo.

How did Votive Brands perform from a project management standpoint?

Votive Brands has performed well in terms of project management. They’re consistent in meeting deadlines and staying within budget. They provide us with a quote before they start any work. If there are any additional costs, they always let us know to keep everything transparent.

We typically communicate through Zoom, in-person meetings, phone calls, text messages, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with Votive Brands’ collaborative approach. They’re always receptive to our feedback and considerate of our requests. We also appreciate how they deliver our vision in highly creative ways.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. It’s been a great partnership so far.

I’m the VP of corporate communications for Ondine Biomedical. We’ve developed technology that destroys bacteria, viruses, and fungi on skin surfaces and in the body in minutes using light.

What challenge were you trying to address with Votive Brands?

We’re still a growing and evolving brand transitioning from being a primarily development-focused company into a company that is now commercializing our lead product. We needed to overhaul our brand and logo and develop assets like packaging designs, wordmarks, brochures, and graphics for our websites and advertisements.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Votive Brands primarily refreshed our logo; they updated the dimensions and other pieces of the design. They came up with new approaches for the logo and how to refresh our website. The website looked busy and didn’t create easy communication. We wanted our brand to be seen and for people to easily understand our materials; we also wanted it to inspire hope because we have a solution that works. 

Votive Brands gave us a concept view in terms of the look and feel with new fonts, colors, imagery, and other changes. They’ve been focusing specifically on labeling and how branding could be applied to our packaging. We send any design work we can’t do in-house to Votive Brands. Recently they’ve been working on an ad campaign for a printed ad design, messaging, and illustrations for new product designs.

We primarily work with Brittany (Founder & Director), but other people are behind the scenes.

I knew Brittany from a separate organization. She presented work to that organization on the importance and value of branding, and I was very impressed and decided to bring Votive Brands to our company.

We’ve spent between $10,000–$25,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We always receive things on time, as promised. If something isn’t exactly what we’re looking for, everything is adapted very quickly. We’ve received a lot of compliments on our overall rebranding approach. We would unequivocally recommend them to anyone else. 

How did Votive Brands perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time and are responsive. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Votive Brands provides great creative output and is able to translate what we ask for in terms of concept into reality. They take feedback extremely well, and we’re able to work through those changes positively. Votive Brands understands and timelessly represents our brand. They also have very strong communication.

There’s nothing we can come up with.
