Please describe your company and your position there.

Mining Finland is a non-profit association promoting Finnish mining technology and services to the global mining industry. We also represent Finnish education and R&D.

For what projects/services did your company hire Vidalico Digital, and what were your goals?

We renewed both design and platform of our website. The aim was to have a modern site that is easy to navigate and provides information effectively.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We listed few companies based on our needs and paid attention on the platforms the companies were using. Vidalico was familiar for us previously and thus it was easy to evaluate their effectiveness and state of technologies used. We checked the proceeding of the project couple of times and they did fast fixes after launch for those minor things which were still left. Vidalico introduced the main functions of the Squarespace platform and also gave good extra tips. They also helped us to start using Mailchimp.

First, we went through the objectives we set for the new website. After that we evaluated the available content and what has to be created. We set the project timeline and after that the project manager started to work with the content and site while I provided them requested resources (images, graphical design).

There were two persons working with the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was carried out in agreed timetable and given budget. The new website meets the set objectives.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very smooth between us and their team. We had constant discussion, milestone meetings and all the time communication was very easy. Vidalico responds to your requests fast.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They really know what they are talking about. And it´s not only talking, they also deliver what they promise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am very satisfied of their performance and don´t see room for improvement in the project.

Build a brand awareness and recognition around our filtration technology.

How did you select this vendor?

We worked in the past on smaller one-time projects and we loved their approach to marketing and project work. We knew that we can trust them with any challenge.

I have worked closely with Constantin Buda and his team of professionals on a weekly and daily basis. The level of professionally and trust was high among all members.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We now have a website that attracts and converts new visitors into leads. Our sales and marketing materials and messaging is aligned and our social presence is constant with our marketing goals.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Vidalico Digital understood our needs from the beginning and there were absolutely no problems in communication. They are an integral part of our team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The agility of delivering their service. Also they are very proactive in pushing us to move forward at a good pace for us.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Industrial knowhow can be always improved as this is a constantly changing industry. However, we are positively surprised how fast Vidalico keeps up to date.

I'm the CEO of a company offering a software as a service to HR departments.

For what projects/services did your company hire Vidalico Digital?

We hired them to be our chief marketing officer to take care of all things related to marketing starting from planning to implementation. We wanted to free our time for sales and customer success and aimed to achieve that by outsourcing marketing.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to get more leads and get measurable marketing goals as well as lot of activities towards reaching those goals.

How did you select this vendor?

I met the founder Constantin (a great guy btw) at an expo and had a first meeting there, after that we compared a few similar vendors and chose to go with Vidalico as we felt they were the one that would offer us the most complete package and not feel like an outsourced marketing operation. Being at our office as part of the team was important to us.

Vidalico has taken care of our marketing, which means mostly online activities in social media, content marketing in general and paid ads. They come up with ideas and try them meaning we don't need to spend much time on thinking marketing strategy or activities, as Vidalico is in charge of this.

What was the team composition?

Main responsibility has been with Constantin. He has used his team members doing the tasks needed but for us Constantin has always been the easy point of contact and part of our own team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Previously we didn't do marketing properly. It was something we did on the side, so the quantity and quality both required an improvement. Now the process is in pretty good shape. We get more leads and can compare the different channels quite ok.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. Constantin has sat in our office and has been practically a part of our team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It's been very easy to work with them. Constantin has a lot of energy and ideas.

Are there any areas for improvement?

For us this has been quite a good partnership. If we could spend more we would like to see more experiments and measurements to find out what works.

We needed help in creating our Marketing plan and in executing that plan.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We met Vidalico through the Helsinki NewCo accelerator programme.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Helped establish the marketing plan including market analysis and marketing strategy. Created a Sales (& Marketing) Action Plan. Helped set up the CRM system. Executed an outbound marketing campaign.

I worked directly with Constantin.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

From the outbound marketing campaign alone we increased our network by 371 new LinkedIn contacts and received positive responses from 106 of those. An average of 4 demo's were then performed on a weekly basis.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were very effective in personal communication and teamwork. Constantin was happy to use our existing tools for communication and collaboration, including Slack and Google Drive. When possible, we also met face to face as much as possible.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their experience in this field, passion, and ability to bring new ideas to the table.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If we ran the marketing campaign again, I'd concentrate less on selling and more on listening to what the customer wanted to see if we're building the right thing.
