    When a client signs with Velo, the clock starts immediately. Within 24 to 48 hours, our team is already preparing internally — no lag, no handoff confusion. We schedule a Kick-Off Call within the first week. That call isn't a formality. It's where we make introductions, walk the client through exactly what to expect, and set firm pre-onboarding and onboarding dates that don't move. We mean that — dates are locked because the process depends on it. Pre-onboarding happens first. Our engineers get on-site, gather credentials, document the environment, and identify anything that needs to be addressed before we officially take over. By the time onboarding day arrives, we already know the environment. On onboarding day, we take over support completely. We bring lunch, hold a town hall with the client's team, and make sure every user knows who to call and what to expect going forward. Deadlines are firm. Turnover items are required before pre-onboarding or dates shift. We set that expectation early because a smooth transition depends on both sides showing up prepared.
