We initially provided Vanguard X with some documentation, and then they took care of the backend and frontend development for our e-commerce integration firm. They integrated the payment process for our web e-commerce so that our customers could go through a payment process. They used Node.js and React.js for this project.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• I was very impressed with how quickly and efficiently the team was able to respond to bug tickets, make any changes, and fix them. Everything works smoothly.

We were in constant communication on discord and also had our daily meetings. So communication was never a problem as they were always active on the chat group.

Ascential is an information services company and I am the Director of Technology.

For what projects/services did your company hire Vanguard X?

We needed to augment our team due to increasing demand for output with a strict budget in the NY area.

SOLUTION

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

When we started with Vanguard, we were working with 3 separate agencies at the same time. Over the course of 6 months, we have moved to strictly working with Vanguard due to the quality of the members on the team and their flexibility in working with us.

We currently have 3 engineers, 2 qa engineers and 1 devops engineer from Vanguard with the longest running member being with us for over a year.

We work with our account manager to discuss the job requirements and then interview candidates as they come in. Usually, we see resumes within 24-48 hours. We have 1 round of interviews and the lead time to have someone join once we've agreed is around 2 weeks.

The team members from Vanguard have become core members of the team and put a lot of care and effort into their work and the company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Since we are all remote since 2020. It has been very effective, bringing them onto our team in the same time zone.
