The overall process was fairly seamless. There was an opportunity to submit a questionnaire that requested high-level input around our brand, our existing logos, color schemes...etc. We were also expected to provide content that would live within the site and within specific pages as it typical of any website build. They also requested references to sites and/or any other examples we have seen and like to use as the inspiration for the vision we had. Once I had completed their questionnaire they were off and running with creating initial comps of specific pages so that we can get a sense of where the direction was heading. There were rounds of creative revisions and ultimately bug-squashing prior to migrating the site over to my WordPress hosting. Once the site was migrated over they were flexible with me making some additional changes based on business challenges we faced. That was very appreciative and good quality of their commitment to making sure we were happy.

Their team consisted of a project manager, creative director, and designers. We were also able to request copywriters but didn't need them in this case.

Our site is in the final stages from going live (held up by us as we finish some final copywriting) but just looking at what is current in our dev environment we are very excited to see this launch and start gathering data.

WebbyMonks approached us via email and presented a case for them handling a few of our projects. After negotiating terms, goals, and processes, we began working with them. The process was easy, and there were no issues in coming to an understanding.

WebbyMonks was given a strategy and details regarding execution. I handle approvals, feedback, and guidelines and oversee their work on a day-to-day basis. Their primary focus is around SEO and the organic channel.
What was the team composition?
We liaise with an account manager who then delegates specific items to their team at WebbyMonks. This is the easiest way to execute our strategy.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
It has been four months, and we’ve seen some positive results in our analytics and tracking platforms. Since we are dealing only with SEO, however, performance boosts take 6-12 months to truly show.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication is easy thanks to our single point of contact. We mostly interact through email, and any further clarifications are done via Skype. WebbyMonks is quick to fix issues on their end.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I'm usually skeptical about offshoring content creation, but I’ve been impressed by their team and the content they've produced to date.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We haven’t come across any issues we haven't been able to resolve quickly. Thus far, it’s been smooth sailing.
