Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the managing director of a management consulting company; I'm responsible for developing our main product.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with UNTTLD Studio?

We were looking to develop a digital product that is easy to use without a long introduction for all functions in the company and help understand what drives performance in the workforce.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

UNTTLD Studio made a prototype that was very helpful and fast; it was an applicable functional product. We went from this to a better understanding of the user direction.

We had some wireframes designed by UNTTLD Studios and a very good and attractive user to use and build a functional version of the product that came together — it was a prototyping and user testing optimization of the UI.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people from their team, including a designer and UI expert. There was someone else working in the background doing the wireframes and the technical part of making the product.

How did you come to work with them?

We met them through a recommendation from a colleague who knew them already. We talked with them and looked at their pretty compelling references. We chose them because we had the impression that we could trust them very well with our task.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around €50,000 (approximately $52,000 USD) with them on this project.

What is the status of the engagement?

We worked together from May 2020–December 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They did an excellent job and delivered exactly what was asked of them. Overall, we're satisfied with their work, and our users are also impressed with it.

How did UNTTLD Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was great; their delivery was always on time. Also, they were very open in communication; they were on an eye-level telling us what we should do better, where they had a different opinion from ours, and steering us in the right direction because they are the experts.

Regarding tools, we used JIRA.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their technical proficiency, in combination with convincing creativity, was impressive. They weren't fixed on one technical solution; their team started with the outcome for the customer in mind and optimized it all from this customer value perspective, which I think was a great approach.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — I was very fine with them, and I'm delighted about our whole collaboration.

Any advice for potential customers?

Drop your early perception of how the product must look like and trust them. They will come up with an even better idea than your first product vision.

I am the CEO of a company digitizing addiction and behavioral healthcare ”We specialize in detecting, identifying alcohol, smoke, food, and drug-related addictions, preventing escalation, mediating care, and supporting the recovery process.”

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We definitely recommend especially Nikita , who was a valuable resource to our team and company. We did not end the collaboration or project, other well known circumstances did.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was effective nothing to complain about, we worked in a well integrated team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were not afraid to speak what was on their mind, argue for the thought suggestions while at the same time listening all requirements and feedback in order to find the most suitable approach.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They are senior, professional and skilled. I think it is a matter of personal chemistry if anything .
