I’m the marketing manager of Charlesworth Group, part of Enago. We provide sales representation, author marketing, and author experience solutions for STM publishers. We specialize in connecting publishers with authors in China through localized services and platforms like Charlesworth Gateway.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ulatus?

We needed help translating our marketing materials for a huge event in Korea.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ulatus translated all our marketing materials, including brochures, event landing pages on the website, flyers, and PR articles. We gave them all our source files in English, and they translated them into Korean, giving us the final copy with formatting and everything intact.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Ulatus accurately translated the content, making it fluent for the native audience. As a result, we got a lot of registrations, and the event was a success because we were able to speak to the target audience in their language. We saw attendees reading the content from brochures and looking interested. Nobody pointed out issues, and our Korean sales team said that the translation was very professional and natural.

How did Ulatus perform from a project management standpoint?

Ulatus delivered all the materials on time. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The ease of working with them was impressive. They ensured all the instructions and details we passed on to their team were followed.

The project has helped us improve the quality, consistency, and turnaround time of our multilingual content. Ulatus has delivered the required language services within the agreed timelines, ensuring accurate and publication-ready content. This has supported us in serving our global audience more effectively and maintaining consistent content quality across markets.
While we don't have specific before-and-after metrics to share, the project has demonstrated measurable improvements in delivery consistency and turnaround time. The streamlined workflow has also reduced the need for rework and enabled us to process and publish content more efficiently.
Based on our experience with the project, we estimate that the turnaround time has improved by approximately 15%–20%, while the need for rework has been reduced by around 10%–15% compared with similar previous projects.
