Medicine is one of the key industries where UBSLogic already has the experience. In 2019, the company asked UBSLogic to support their business initiative and create a dedicated development team to develop an e2e application, as well as to synchronize sales through partners.

Within 3 weeks, after several stages of interviews with candidates that were provided by UBSLogic, the Product Owner was selected. We at UBSLogic understand the crucial meaninig of this position, so the final candidate had the following skills and competencies:

• product vision
• backlog management skills
• the ability to be the unified voice of the team
• ability to control return on investment
• and ability to be a motivator.

After that, other team members - Scrum master, DevOps, and Front-end, and backend developers were selected based on the vision of the Product owner. During 12 months of work on the project, none of the team members has been changed. The client managed to attract more than 300,000 customers through the newly developed application with the help of UBSLogic.

The task was to create a team of 10 people: 7 developers, a Product Owner, a business analyst, QA engineer. The entire project timeline was 12 months for the full launch of the mobile application.

Therefore, we decided to continue cooperation for another 24 months and increase the team by 4 skilled software developers. Now the team of 14 people is working to scale the client's business up in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Some of the best deals can come from referrals. We know that UBSLogic has a payments team that provides all the necessary tools for the PSP providers. One of the biggest PSP providers in eastern Europe was cooperating with UBSLogic and they gave a good reference for the results of their cooperation.

They designed and developed multifunctional and secured digital wallet, which need to be additionally equipped with multiple token support. They built p2p "fiat-to-token" and "token-to token" exchange. Also as a part of customer journey mapping UBSLogic designed the fee logic for our Pay wallet ecosystem.

Part of the project was designing B2C services (cashier integration, crypto payments for customers, finance analysis and reports). Technology used: .NET; Angular; Python; Java; PHP; React Native; SWIFT; Kotlin

There were 4 people in a team: 1/ Senior Front-end developer 2/ Back-end developer 3/ Full Stack Developer with the Team Lead function and Back-end development 4/ Project manager with the QA and Scrum master function

User testing with potential users helped collect feedback on the app features and functionalities and improve the application by: · Aligning the application features and functionality with user needs; · Making the application more user-friendly and enhancing user experience; · Simplifying the process for users of both the app and admin panel. To meet the requirements, the team was engaged in the development of a comprehensive solution.

It was very important to understand how the whole process – from delivering a test to a potential user to developing an admin panel for a medical expert to monitor online whether a user is taking a test correctly. User testing with potential users helped collect feedback on the app features and functionalities and improve the application by:

• Aligning the application features and functionality with user needs;
• Making the application more user-friendly and enhancing user experience;
• Simplifying the process for users of both the app and admin panel.

We do believe that UBSLogic allocated a fully dedicated team, this was the reason why we performed our project on time. In addition, they use daily team sync in order for all the tasks from us to be considered during the Pay app development process

We started during Covid-19 initial phase and when they switched from off line to a hybrid model should be faster, but this is mainly due to the GDPR reasons

TUBSLogic provided us an extended team with experience with a Python Backend framework like Django and Flask. User access and permission management, incl. Single-Sign On, OAuth. Server-side notifications, e.g. based on Websocket. Software version control and CI tools, e.g. Git, GitHub, Travis, Jenkins. Containerized applications and their orchestration, e.g. with Docker, Kubernetes. Cloud providers, e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure. The all timeline was about 4 weeks to complete team.

UBSLogic provided engineers with excellent coding skills in Javascript or Typescript and skills in general purpose programming language: C/C++, Python and/or Java (Python preferred). Experience with REST APIs and corresponding frameworks, e.g. OpenAPI.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Knowing that data security and deployment flexibility is essential. That’s why UBSLogic enabled installation of our solution anywhere customer need: whether in the public cloud, virtual private cloud, or in your data center. This allowed us in just 2 month analyze several complex and built well performing ML models

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We increased team from 3 to 5 engineers and will continue to grow our offshore team with UBSLogic capacity further

Our offshore dedicated team is very responsive. UBSLogic provides capabilities to work in both formats: offline and online. R&D centre is very modern and equipted with all necessary tools for our employees for them to be satisfied by the working conditions. Plus they invite barista every Wednesday and Friday so this motivate out people to be present there as well :)
