THE CLIENT
 
A New Jersey based mental health non-profit focused on the well-being of minors was growing quickly as a result of rapidly changing demographics in their communities.
 
THE ROLE
 
Care Managers with an entry-level background in Social Work were the backbone of the successful support system built to serve the minors and their families and this non-profit needed to add many to keep up with the unfortunate demand.
 
THE CHALLENGE
 
While serving an admirable mission, the pay, lack of clinical hours, and amount of travel (from home to home) created weak candidate interest and high burnout.

After a thorough intake (client shared she had never been asked more questions…in a good way, we think) we developed an aggressive marketing program that would lean heavily on active candidate advertising to generate the volume of candidates needed for the small non-profit.

The aggressive advertising, informed by our many questions, worked and generated 54 submittals and a total of 9 offers. When additional Care Managers are needed, the client plans on revisiting the remaining submittals. ### FAST GROWING ECOMMERCE RETAILER NEEDS CEO
THE CLIENT 
 
A personal defense eCommerce company realized that the founding team was not equipped to handle growth as it climbed towards $100 million in sales. Operational and marketing challenges were too much, and it was for a professional CEO.
 
THE ROLE
 
Overseeing the entire company, the CEO would be responsible for building the largest company in the owner’s portfolio.
 
THE CHALLENGE
 
While the client was well versed in business, the success of this brand was outpacing previous experience. The client was not entirely sure what the right CEO would look like and because of this challenge on clarity, had been turned down by a number of other recruiting firms.

#twiceasnice determined that while the client was open to a wide range of CEO backgrounds, we would focus on the senior end of the spectrum with significant eCommerce and logistics experience. While we do not always recommend our clients push their salary budgets, we saw this as a critical placement to the continued growth trajectory. We began extensive cold outreach and, to some peers’ surprise, advertising for this senior role.

We presented several candidates the client was prepared to move forward with. Ultimately, the CEO hired (with a $3mil package) came from our aggressive advertising of the opportunity and was presented to our client within one-week of the start of the search.


### WHOLESALER NEEDS HELP UNEARTHING A COO
THE CLIENT
 
A Southwestern seed wholesaler that’s been operating for a half-century and has had steady 8 figure sales needed a COO, a new role with the intention of cultivating a true leader to oversee the next generation of senior executives.
 
THE ROLE
 
Primarily overseeing the finance side of the business, the client needed the COO to be technologically savvy, financially grounded, and eager to understand the workings of their medium-sized operation. While titled ‘COO’ it was really a ‘take on what we need to attack next and lead’ kind of job.
 
THE CHALLENGE
 
With a budget of $150,000, the client had employed a Top 5 national recruiting firm to find the perfect fit. After 8 months, no one within the budget and financial background was presented. The client began to feel like this was an ‘impossible search’ since such a large firm was unable to find success.

After a series of discovery calls, #twiceasnice determined that while the ultimate goal was to hire a COO, the actual candidate required was a more of an entrepreneurial controller looking for their next career move. Cold outreach to passive candidates and aggressive advertising was initiated to identify a local candidate.

We submitted the candidate that ultimately was hired on day 7 of our search (and month 9 of the other firm’s…). The candidate was $30,000 under salary budget based on our insight on who the client really needed and our invoice, of course, was substantially lower. We’re excited to see how the candidate blooms in his role.


### STARTUP NEEDED SALES REPS IN 17 MARKETS… STAT!
THE CLIENT
 
A prescription provider start-up had just received a large round of venture funding and needed to place outside sales reps in 17 markets around the US to meet its hockey stick sales projections.
 
THE ROLE
 
Requiring a background in dermatology and women’s health, the sales reps required familiarity with selling directly to physicians, face to face.
 
THE CHALLENGE
 
While not the most challenging search (in the scheme of our searches) the timeline of having 17 markets fully hired within 45 days of search start was going to be what made this interesting.

Partnering exclusively with #twiceasnice, we were confident the client was ready to make hiring decisions quickly. We had a larger-than-normal search launch where one Client Manager introduced the 3 Senior Recruiters that would each take a portion of the markets. Combining the Senior Recruiters’ availability and expertise to interview, we built a support team around this search to build passive candidate databases, conduct cold outreach, and micromanage the hundreds of job ads published to support this effort.

In less that 30 days, 16 of 17 markets had candidates actively interviewing with our client as a result of our search efforts generating 60 submittals. THE CLIENT
A growing, faith-based SaaS company that serves thousands of church communities around the world continues to grow and absorb technology through acquisitions.
 
THE ROLE
 
This Senior Android Developer not only had to be a true expert in the Android platform, they also had to be willing to mentor a team that was aligning a new acquisition’s technology into their overall ecosystem. While the pay was at market, the client really wanted someone to be passionate about the impact of their work and how it would help ministries across the globe
 
THE CHALLENGE
 
This was a rock-solid search that even allowed for remote candidates. The only ‘challenge’ to speak of was ensuring the candidates with top notch Android expertise would also feel the same passion for the mission as the rest of the growing team – this was a clear, and understandable, requirement.
