We are an NGO and our mission is to close down all orphanages in Romania by 2027. We are working to find a solution for each of the vulnerable children we support, to permanently close down orphanages in Romania and to prevent family breakdown as a result of extreme poverty.

The project involved the complete redesign and development of our website, with the goal of creating a more modern, accessible and user-friendly digital platform that clearly communicates our mission, programs and impact. The scope of work included strategy and information architecture, UX/UI design, website development, content migration and the integration of key functionalities relevant to an NGO. A particular focus was placed on creating clear pathways for visitors to understand our work, discover the stories and impact behind our programs, and support our cause through donations. Key deliverables included the full website design and development, responsive versions for desktop and mobile, a reorganized navigation and content structure, dedicated pages for our programs and campaigns, storytelling and impact sections, donation-related journeys and calls to action, as well as the technical setup required for ongoing website management. The team also worked closely with us throughout the process to understand the specific needs of our organization and our audiences, translating a complex range of programs and services into a clear and engaging digital experience.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new website has significantly improved the way we communicate our mission, programs and impact online. The redesigned structure makes it easier for visitors to find relevant information, understand our work and take action.

Key outcomes include a clearer and more intuitive user journey, improved mobile experience, stronger visibility for our programs and campaigns, and more prominent donation pathways. The new platform also gives our team greater flexibility to update content and launch campaigns independently.

Most importantly, the website has created a stronger digital foundation for our fundraising and communications efforts, helping us turn awareness and engagement into meaningful support for the children and families we work with.

The project was well managed from start to finish. The team maintained clear communication throughout the process, kept us updated on progress and was responsive to our feedback and changing needs. They were particularly good at understanding the specific requirements of working with an NGO, where content, priorities and campaign needs can evolve throughout a project.

They were flexible when adjustments were needed and worked collaboratively with our team to find practical solutions. The key deliverables were delivered according to the agreed timeline, and the team remained engaged and supportive through the final stages, including revisions and implementation.

Overall, we felt that our feedback was genuinely listened to and reflected in the final product.

The work included analyzing existing document workflows, designing and developing AI-based automation solutions, and implementing OCR technology to convert physical documents/photos into structured digital data. Key deliverables included a functional automation flow for offer processing, an OCR system integrated into the workflow, reduced manual data entry throughout the process, a flow for analyzing suppliers' commercial terms..

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since implementing these solutions, we have observed a significant reduction in time spent on manual data entry, faster quote processing, and more rigorous, evidence-based monitoring of supplier commercial terms. In addition, the access and training provided gave our teams insight into AI-based tools, allowing them to focus on higher value-added activities.

TVL Tech managed the project professionally, with clear communication throughout, delivering everything on time and responding promptly to our needs. TVL Tech ships updated versions of the base code on a regular basis, every quarter to every six months. The updates include new features and capabilities for end users, such as updated computer data options. Thanks to these updates, users can monetize assets in new ways.

Their work helps us improve the user experience, streamline our internal processes, and ensure that our digital tools operate more efficiently and reliably. Specifically, TVL Tech has improved several key areas of our website, including the navigation and page structure, making information easier to find and the website more intuitive to use. They’ve also updated and optimized our registration forms and related processes, improved mobile responsiveness and loading speed, and enhanced the administrative side of the website so our team can manage and update content more efficiently.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

TVL Tech’s work has resulted in several clear improvements, including faster website performance, a better mobile experience, easier navigation, and a smoother registration process for users. Internally, our team can also manage and update website content more efficiently, while technical issues and the time needed for routine administrative tasks have been reduced. These improvements have helped make both the public-facing website and our internal digital workflows more reliable and user-friendly. Although we haven’t formally tracked detailed before-and-after metrics such as exact website load times or support-request volumes, we’ve observed clear improvements in practice. For example, pages load faster, the website performs more consistently on mobile devices, registration forms are easier to complete, and our team spends less time resolving technical issues or making routine content updates. We’ve also received fewer user-reported difficulties related to navigation and registration after the improvements have been implemented. Overall, we estimate that the improvements have saved our team approximately 3–5 hours per week. This time was previously spent handling routine technical issues, managing website content, correcting registration-related problems, and completing administrative tasks. The updated systems have allowed our team to work more efficiently and focus more time on our programs and beneficiaries.
