We are a chocolatier, selling hand-dipped chocolate truffles, caramels, and other seasonal confections in our two retails stores and online.

For what projects/services did your company hire Trueline?

We hired Trueline to consult with us on the best technology available that's appropriately matched to our business. We asked them to build an e-commence website and help us increase our SEO.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked at many vendors in our geographic area and beyond. We selected Trueline because we could tell they would help us at our pace and provide us with as much support as we needed. At the same time, the costs were as good or better than the other vendors we looked at, who seemed to want to push us into products and services we weren't interested in.

After meeting the team, we were connected to a project manager who was our point of contact for the entire project. We had weekly phone meetings with schedule updates and milestones accomplished. There were also pieces of the puzzle we could participate in, and that gave us a way to share the work and save some money, too.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had a project manager, a website developer/coder, and a writer on our team. I'm sure there were other people helping beyond that, but it was so seamless, we weren't always aware of how many people were working on our behalf to get the project done.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our website orders grew instantly the moment we went live with our new website. We've improved our SEO tremendously and our business appears at the top of every Google search in our area of retail.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was seamless. I enjoyed all the interactions. Even with the stress of building a new website, it was a joy to work with Trueline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are a small business with finite resources, so when it was time to re-do our website, we did a ton of research on Maine and New England agencies. Then we came across Trueline. It was clear from the get-go that we'd met the right people. We knew we had a team that could guide us and make recommendations, and who also respected our business history and all of its unique properties.

Communication throughout the website development process was top-notch, clear, and entirely generous in nature. Working with Trueline, our e-commerce orders have increased tenfold. Our new website is now our business lifeline. We owe that to the kind, friendly, and professional people at Trueline who are always there for us. And because they know their stuff, we will continue to work and grow with them in the coming years. We have definitely found our team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

E-commerce has a lot of tricky aspects to it when building a website. Trueline had to do a lot of troubleshooting on our behalf to make everything run smoothly. But every step of the way, even when one solution didn't work immediately, Trueline was always there to help us solve our problems and come up with a better solution.

Significant traffic to our website after the launch and all positive feedback coming in. It's been amazing working with Erica and the Trueline Team on the redesign of the Good Will-Hinckley (GWH) website. They took the time to get to know our organization and designed a website that exceeded our needs!

I'm the Marketing & Development Director for Good Will-Hinckley, a non-profit that provide a home, educational opportunities and a supportive environment to youth, families, and communities we serve that are in need of a helping hand.

We needed a modern WordPress website and our goal was to have a mobile-friendly site that reflected our brand and values.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had with Trueline before on other projects and knew their quality of work and trusted that they would do a great job with our website.

Trueline developed a multipage responsive WordPress website. The Team also transferred all information from our previous site to the new one and updated the SEO while optimizing each page for search.

We had a team of people from Truelin that assisted with the project, these people include; Director of Marketing, Website Developer, Director of Content, Writer and Digital Content Strategist and the Director of Business Development.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the website, we received countless positive feedback, and people enjoyed the new look and flow of the website.

We had weekly check-in calls, with more if needed, to discuss the progress and any issues. We also communicated via email with early access to the site to review for feedback.

They were responsive and timely with our questions and the changes needed. They gave guided advice while allowing our team to steer and control the content.
