Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Aces Private Investigations. We do private investigations, and we have 11 websites in different cities across Texas, Florida, Mississippi, and Kentucky. We’re currently trying to get our license in Las Vegas.

What challenge were you trying to address with On Top Texas SEO?

We were trying to get in traffic to strive in business and expand.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with SEO, and we built our first website back in 2011. On Top Texas did the marketing part as well. Since then, we’ve expanded our services with them. Now, we’re doing ads, landing pages, and different things. Our budget was initially small, and they steered us in the right direction, so it’s now quite larger.

For optimization, they’ve done on-site and off-site SEO, backlinks, articles, basically anything under the sun. They’ve also done 3–4 promotion videos that last 1–2 minutes. These videos use pictures, videos, and voiceover to explain what we do, who we are, and tell the company’s story. We’ve done interviews with TV stations, and they’ve put those on our website as well.

Overall, On Top Texas has steered and guided us. For the videos, we didn’t know what we wanted, so we just provided pictures. They decided what direction to go in, and we went with it. That’s what we’ve done this entire time; we trust them, and they knock it out of the park.

What is the team composition?

They have at least 4–5 people on the team, but I just deal directly with Ryan (Owner & SEO Strategist).

How did you come to work with On Top Texas SEO?

I met Ryan when I was a police officer. He offered to build my website for a minimal charge at the time. In two months, it went to number one in San Antonio, and the rest is history.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began our partnership in July 2011, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Every month since 2011, the company has grown. When I was a police officer, it wasn’t growing so much because I wasn’t putting much money towards SEO. When I left the police department in 2017, I went full throttle. This year, we’re at a point where the company is doing over $100,000 a month, and from January–June 2021, we did $730,000 for the year-to-date.

How did On Top Texas SEO perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done very well. We constantly communicate over phone calls and emails, and I talk to Ryan pretty much every day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Honestly, it’s the results they deliver. I never imagined I’d be in this position in my life. I’ve dealt with other CEOs and companies that only rip customers off, but I trust On Top Texas 100%, and they’ve shown their results tenfold.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There isn’t anything. I’ve recommended them to all of my friends, and they’ve all gotten the same extraordinary results.
